I used to like this restaurant, the broccoli cheese soup never disappoints. There are no waiters but they still ask for tip. The music was fine. The bread was a little hard on the bbq chicken sandwich. Au Jus sandwich was good I just switched the garlic aioli with the chipotle. The drinks were a little expensive $4.19 for a regular. Idk if I will be back. read more

I've been ordering from Panera frequently, but my recent experiences have been extremely disappointing. I used to love getting fresh cookies, but lately, they're consistently rock-hard. I'm talking "throw it across the room and it you'll be at the ER" hard. It's a shame because their cookies were a highlight, but now I'm hesitant to order. read more

I always love going to Panera Bread to get take-out when I'm sick. (Kind of a sad beginning I suppose...) But their Broccoli Cheddar Bread Bowl is always a go to, they seem to always get it right. Their service is always amazing and I've never had irritable employees taking my order and I love their interior if I do sit down to eat there. At one point, I have had their endless drink option (bought on a monthly schedule), and it was also highly enjoyable, especially to pick up a drink on the way to work. Overall, I highly rate this restaurant. read more

I ordered a Caesar salad and I did expect a bit of lettuce in there. What little lettuce that was there was the scuds I usually throw away. Dressing? I measured it when I got home and the container didn't even have a whole tablespoon worth of dressing in there. I asked for chips and got 2 bread rolls. Sadly the chips are my favorite part. : ( I have ordered salads before and they just seem to be getting worse. This was pitiful. $11.00 This was in Gastonia, NC. Worst Panera ever but unfortunately the only bagel place in the area. They will be out of certain bagels before 8:30AM somehow, will wait at the ordering drive up window for 10 minutes just to wait another 10 once you get up to the window. Not sure if it is the lack of staff or the stocking but regardless this franchise owner should really figure it out. read more

This was one of the worst experiences I've had at Panera Bread. Not only was our order late, but when I finally opened my meal, I found a rotten apple included. Yes -- soft, brown, mushy, and clearly spoiled. It's absolutely unacceptable to serve food in that condition. For a company that prides itself on fresh ingredients, this was a complete failure. If this is the level of quality and service Panera is offering now, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Awesome place with great staff! I had a wonderful meal, I ordered to go and everything that I ordered was in my bag as it was supposed to be. It was my first time ordering inside and the cashier lady was so sweet! She helped me figure out how best to order my food and was nice to my fiancé and the lady in front of us in line as well. Very clean and nice looking place, bacon Mac and cheese was my favorite part. :) read more

I have eaten at Panera for years, unfortunately they are going down hill fast. Tonight I ordered a BLT but the bacon was mostly raw. Then I opened my chip bag to find not chips but a large ugly lump of something nasty. Then I opened what was supposed to be three macaroons were only two and a brownie. I don't even like brownies. I have to say, all in all, this is one of the worst meals I've had in years. I would say if you want a good meal chose another restaurant. read more

This Panera is so questionable. It's so weird to get into, then once you walk in it always sticky and it takes forever to get through the line. The people there are always nice though and my food is always good and made right. The vibes are just off. read more

It is always so nice to be able to have a healthy meal when there is a panera near by. Their salads are amazing. The strawberry one with grilled chicken is my summer go to. Or when it gets a little chilly outside broccoli cheddar soup is where it is at. Whatever your craving you can probably find it at panera. Even get a 99cent bakery item to go with your meal. I probably have tried literally everything in the menu and have not 1 bad thing to say Service has always been amazing. Resturant is clean when I've been in. Also, the green tea is my favorite! A must try if you stop by! read more

Panera Bread - Tuna sandwich and broccoli cheddar soup - Sandwiches Near Me - Gastonia, North Carolina

I love the chicken Ceasar salad and broccoli cheese soup. For some reason it now costs $8 for a bowl of soup and what they give you to go is a little tiny bowl of soup. The salads are now $14 to $18. Excuse me, but if they are going to charge that much the food needs to be out of this world. Way overpriced now for the quality of the food. $8 for a bowl of soup! No way. Never again. read more

Looking at the reviews here, you would think this place is a dump. I'll be honest, I've been going this same Panera for years and never had any huge issues. Yeah, so every once in a while I'll have bad service, but nothing absolutely terrible. It's always clean inside and for the most part, and everyone has always been very friendly to me. I use this place as a meet up spot with my boss when we have to go over work things, or if I need a quiet spot to focus on work. Every time I visit there is usually a meeting or something business related that other people are working on. But of course there is also families or friends eating here too. It's never loud in here, just an average amount of noise so it's not hard to focus or hear the person you're beside. I like the ordering system they have on the touch screens. It's easy for me to decide on options so I don't have to worry about people waiting to order behind me in a regular line. If you visit Panera on the regular, definitely sign up for their reward system. You get something free from the bakery on your birthday, and you are sent coupons on the regular. read more

This Panera is amazing!! I frequent several times a week because of the great service & good food. The employees are always so kind and know their customers well. I never have to wait for my food. I am one of those high maintenance customers that modifies my order, and in 3 years they have never gotten it wrong. I started going to Panera because of the amazing perks in the app and because it's the only fast food around that has good wholesome options. I stayed because the employees are chick-fil-a level good. I'm not why how this Panera has so many bad reviews!! I am a huge fan! read more

I usually don't go out of my way to write reviews for Panera Bread, but had to make an exception here. When I lived in Gastonia a few years ago, I would come here from time to time to redeem rewards. Just dreaded going to the drive thru because it was often slow. So fast forward a few days ago on July 4th... Stopped here on my way back home to Atlanta because I can't tolerate most of the food options off 85. I do appreciate them being open on a major holiday. Placed my order at the kiosk and went to sit down at the bench near the pick up window. Saw my name flash on the screen letting me know it was being prepared. So I wait. And wait. And wait. Geez, what's taking so long? Finally got up and wow, food was sitting at the pick up counter. Not once did anyone call my name or bothered to flash my name on the ready screen. Very odd and weird. No wonder this location has a low score. I might have to avoid this location for good! read more

DEATH. Drove through here and within 15 minutes of eating what I picked up in the drive thru I found myself in unreal gastrointestinal distress. Obviously, they had been negligent with cleaners and some ended up in the food I ate. Blew my guts out at the next Walgreens and it almost turned into a hospital trip. If they would have served that to an elderly person it could have been very dangerous. Don't go here unless you want your guts on the outside. read more

We love Panera. We've experienced Panera locations in my states and have always had the same pleasant experience until this location. They actually lock their front doors with people inside at lunch time telling people that the dining room is closed. People can't even leave through the front doors which I'd consider a fire hazard. When you can get in, the person taking the order never seems knowledgeable about what Panera offers. The food takes forever to come out and somehow is a lower level of standard that Panera always has. My husband got a Caesar salad and all he received was lettuce. Please find another Panera and don't pass judgement on the company based on this location alone. read more

I selected 'curb-side pickup' and entered my spot number when I arrived. I sat in my car for about 10 minutes waiting. No one came out. They were out of all Fountain drinks and tomato's but the workers were so kind and helpful food is amazing

I came here on a rainy Saturday to get soup and sandwich! Right away from the beginning we were 2nd in line, however it took more than 10-12 mins to get service because they were short handed! The manager on duty was preoccupied, but was close to the registers. That didn't seem to matter because he looked at the line building and kept doing something else, another guest needed some type of drink refilled and he walked by her a few times before he helped her! When it was time to receive our food this same manager bought us the wrong food, he seemed really disengaged this particular afternoon! Hopefully he'll get it together the food tasted good though. read more

The service was terrible. They were more concerned with filling takeout orders than pushing out food to people who were waiting to sit down inside. It was the longest wait we ever had at any Panera's over multiple states. Once we received our food the sandwiches looked as if they had been hastily slapped together and the soup was just warm and not hot. read more

Went to Panera bread in Gastonia for a to go order. The girl that helped us was very nice, polite, and helpful. However, we get home and our sandwiches are not fit to eat! My steak and cheese that I paid $9.00 for is a cheese sandwich with a barely noticeable amount of steak! I'm absolutely sick of paying $20+ for my wife and I to get crap! These places are no better than McDonald's anymore. And at least at McD's I pay less and get crap! I WILL NEVER EAT AT PANERA BREAD AGAIN!!! read more

Panera Bread - Sandwiches Near Me - Gastonia, North Carolina

So this has been a weird week for Panera and I. I have gone to three different Panera's in the last week. All of which I have had very different experiences. The first Panera did not have my French toast bagel so I got something else in exchange at no additional cost. The second Panera had everything I needed as I sat down and did some work. This Panera had the bagel I needed but did not have the bacon and spinach souffle. I really wanted that souffle as they are so very awesome. So I left and went to Chick-fi-la. The lady at the drive thru intercom was very nice and apologetic. I have never been inside this particular store so I don't have a review on that. I could see if they ran out of souffles at 10 am, but it was like 8:50 am. They still had like 1.5 hours or so left for breakfast so there was no excuse. I hope they do better. read more

I continue to be disappointed by this Panera location. Tonight, my order was not only wrong but it was delivered an hour late. I am frustrated because I can't even leave feedback about a specific order - they send out an email asking for a review, but the link doesn't work. If you are really craving Panera, find a different one! read more

WORST Panera ever. I just went through the drive through for coffee and was transferred to FOUR different people just to be told that they "don't think they have any coffee without dairy." No one could answer the simple question of being able to get an iced coffee with almond milk. read more

I am so upset right now. I just worked a 13 hour shift and drove a detour from home just to get some Panera. I thought this was going to make me happy at the end of the day, instead it is disappointment. I ordered the pick two with a side of bread. The bread is one of my favorite parts. It was burnt to a crisp and rock solid. I could audibly knock on my bread. Then my sandwich. It was two splashes of half-dollar sized meat. I even "splurged" on a drink. My Mac n cheese was good. But I am hungry from my inedible food and $14 down the drain ): read more

What makes this Panera stand out is the people who work their, their patience, and grace dealing with a difficult customer. I was that guy today. I ordered a sandwich with no mayo, and got a sandwich with mayo. I let the crew know, and they made me a new sandwich... the wrong one this time. I let them know and they put up with me, making me a third. Working the line in a few restaurants myself, I know all to well that mistakes happen, but it's their response that struck me as remarkable. At a time when they must be under enormous pressure with fear of exposure to C19, adapting to new sanitation guidelines, and an increasingly tense economic situation, they addressed my complaints with an abundance of patience and courtesy. There are some darn fine people working there, and I can guarantee excellent service if you pay them a visit. read more
