    Mess
    James G.

Went to Jersey Mike's in Belmont today. The girl that took my order was rude. She did NOT make my food as I ordered it. I corrected her while she was cooking my sub citing I asked for no peppers. She got mad and slammed the spatula on the griddle. When I opened my food it was a complete mess. There was buffalo sauce all over the wrap. I was treated badly and don't think I will be visiting this store ever again.

I asked for a gluten free sub and manager rolled her eyes. She is a miserable person after many times visiting. Won't go back

Love this place ! Their food is always so fresh, their stores always so clean! I'm surprised that it doesn't show as a five-star on this app

I love Jersey Mike's. My sandwich is always great. The bread is so soft and fresh, fast service and friendly people.

Food is almost always spot on. Customer service varies wildly. I'll skip this location going forward.

I tried my dining companion's fried eggplant and it was amazing. I shared the fish and chips and the figalicious flatbread with my friend and we were both happy (except for the little bit of burnt taste to my fish). My friends enjoyed the veggie burger and another order of fish and chips that looked less brown than mine was. All in all, good food, great service and lots to offer! Amendment: the staff was so friendly and I saw that they had so much more to offer as I was on my way out of the restaurant that I had to upgrade my review to 5 stars! The fresh fish and seafood, the meat and cheese, and all the wines offered for sale were wonderful. The staff happily posed for a picture. Love this!

The pizza was done exactly on time. The moment I walked in, I watched an employee place the food on the counter. Great timing. The only interaction was the cashier asking if she could help me. I was out of there in seconds, so I can't properly comment on customer service. The pizza itself was very good. Comparable to spots around town. Price point was about equal to the other places as well. Would I recommend? Yes. Would I say it's worth a long drive to go get? Not really. If you're in the Pineville area and want a good slice, go grab one here.

She is AMAZING and super sweet. I came in today and was "greeted" (meaning he didn't say a word the whole interaction) by a bald man with a tattoo by his ear. He did not say "hi" or "how can I help" you or anything. Just started at me. I told him my order and before I could finish speaking (I needed to show him I was also purchasing a drink) he put my order in and walked away before I could even get the rest of my order out of my mouth. He immediately walked to the back. I did not pay because I was waiting to get his attention to let him know he still needed to ring up the drink and that he only rung up the bagel. He finally looked my way from the back and said "you can tap to pay" and then immediately turned around so he was unable to see or hear me raise the drink up and say "you didn't ring up the drink". Luckily the kind woman was in the front and took care of me. I hate giving a negative review because I love the lady with the red hair, but the other man was terrible.

It's right on the way to my yoga studio, so it's perfect for a quick in-and-out lunch, but honestly, it's also the kind of place where you end up lingering longer than planned. My usual order is the ABLT on rye with Boar's Head applewood smoked bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Simple, fresh, and consistently delicious every single time. I almost always pair it with the Spinach Bacon salad loaded with spinach, cranberries, goat cheese, tomatoes, toasted pecans, and brown sugar peppered bacon. The portions are huge and definitely shareable. What makes Rhino special is that it's more than just a deli. It's part neighborhood market, part coffee shop, part beer and wine stop, and part community hangout. They've got local products, grab-and-go snacks, fresh sandwiches, beer on tap, wine, outdoor patio seating, and sometimes even live music. It reminds me of the small independent spots I used to love in the Bay Area around Burlingame, San Mateo, and Palo Alto. Relaxed, local, welcoming, and full of personality. The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere feels genuinely Charlotte. Not overly polished. Not trying too hard. Just good food, good people, and a place that locals clearly love. And if you are visiting North Carolina, you absolutely have to try Cheerwine at least once. It's basically a Carolina rite of passage. Cherry soda lovers will probably be obsessed. Me personally? Not exactly my flavor profile, but people here drink it like water, so clearly they are onto something. Rhino Market is one of those places that makes a city feel like home. Life is too short to not eat well, Charlotte. Get out there.

You order at one window, grab an extra items, pay, then they'll call your name/number. Super easy. I ordered the Rhino Club described on the menu as: Boar's Head Branded Deluxe Ham, Lower Sodium Turkey, Applewood Smoked Bacon, provolone, bibb lettuce, tomato, dijon vin on choice of bread. The ordering and payment process was easy. I was solo so I took a seat at the bar area to eat. Sandwich looked good when I unwrapped it, large slices of toasted bread with fresh lettuce and tomato. The strangest thing was, on the left side of the sandwich were several slices of deli turkey rolled up. On the right side of the sandwich were several slices of deli ham rolled up. I hadn't seen a sandwich made like that before. It felt like half of a turkey sandwich and half of a ham sandwich as opposed to a ham and turkey sandwich. Was it bad? Definitely not. I waffled between a 3 and a 4 star for this one but felt generous because, overall, I liked the vibe of the place.
