I have never had a terrible experience at a pizza place until I came here. I waited in line for over an hour, granted it was a busy Friday night. I figured the wait would be worthwhile because I had a coupon that I planned on using to pay for the pizzas. However, when I finally got to the cashier, they told me that the coupon had been discontinued. I showed them that the expiration date was not for a couple more weeks. They treated me very rudely and disrespectfully because I wanted them to honor the coupon that I waited in line to use. I paid full price for the pizzas, which were mediocre, at best. Small portion that is not very filling. Before posting this review, I decided to contact their office to explain my experience. I called the 626 number listed for their headquarters so that I could leave a voice message or speak someone directly... but there was no such option! I decided to send them an email.They seemed apologetic (via email) and said they would send me some free pizza passes for me to give the place a chance again. I never received the pizza passes they claim to have sent me. I emailed them again about it, but nothing was done and now I am writing this review. Needless to say that I am never attending this place again. There are plenty of other pizza places in Davis that appreciate my business. read more

Although I may not agree that these are five star pizzas, I cannot deny that for the price and quality of the ingredients the pizzas here are well worth it. For under $10 I opted to build my own pie topped with bacon, onion, mushroom, with red sauce. It didn't take long at all until it was finished cooking and they were calling my name. The pizza is considered personal size which is about right. If you were really hungry you could probably eat it all in one sitting, but there is plenty there to keep you satisfied regardless. One thing I will praise them on is having an excellent staff. If I needed extra napkins or plates they were always quick to help out and they're very friendly folks in general. If you love pizza, I would urge you to grab some friends and take them here. You won't be sorry. read more

I have lived in davis for 20 years and Blaze has always been my go to spot to eat, the service used to be great, the people used to be nice! I don't know what happened to Blaze in davis but the service is fucking awful. the people are rude as shit. i have never been so disrespected in my life. they had 12 people working behind the counter and not ONE OF THEM KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. The guy working behind the counter threw the sliver pizza holder at the counter and stormed away because i called him out for talking to me like i was genuinely wasn't human. i'm 30 years old writing this review, and i have worked in many restaurants, but this was fucking unbelievable. i'm not going back to this blaze again, until the managers LEARN HOW TO HIRE RESPECTFUL EMPLOYEES!!! read more

From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the level of service and hospitality at this place. Ofelia, Silence and Joseph went above and beyond to ensure our visit was nothing short of fantastic. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. The pizza was perfectly cooked with fresh, flavorful ingredients and a crust had the right balance between crispy and chewy. You can tell they take pride in what they do, both in the kitchen and in how they treat their guests. Blaze in the year or so it has been open has gone down hill. About 3 months ago I was in the restaurant ordering a pizza and the two people on the line were fighting over who was NOT gonna serve me. Told the person in charge and they didn't care. So I left, and instead of going to blaze a few times a month, I maybe go once a month. There's only so much you can do when it comes to personalizing a pizza, but here you can pretty much do whatever you want.
