My first time at this location since 2022 as the Blaze Pizza on California Ave recently closed, and I was impressed. The young man working the oven did a perfect job on our pizza. He was extremely meticulous in listening to my instructions and remained pleasant throughout the entire interaction. This is definitely my new go-to location. Unlike the Ming Ave location, which charges 99 cents for ranch, this location didn't charge us anything. There really needs to be more accountability at the Ming Ave location when it comes to customer service and random extra charges. Place an order online for a couple pizzas that will be ready around 6:25 PM. My husband shows up around 6:20 PM and checks in. They say that they're just waiting for one pizza. 20 minutes later the last pizza is ready. We then asked for our pizzas to be remade since all the other pizzas have been sitting for 20 minutes. When we asked for the pizzas to be re-made, we caught an attitude from one of the employees and she said "it's only been 15 minutes" which proves my point exactly why would I want one pizza that's hot and one pizza that's been sitting out on the counter for 15 minutes. Recently moved to the neighborhood and was looking for a pizza place. Walked in and was looking at the menu board trying to decide what to order. A young man walked up and asked if we were there to pick up an online order. We said no and told him we had never been there before. He told us we should have ordered online because it's cheaper and that it's gonna cost us more to order in the restaurant. Then he walked away and didn't come back. It was so confusing. Upon entering, we were greeted by the employees. We frequent Blaze pizza probably once a month when in the mood for personal pizzas. This allows us to get the dough thickness we enjoy most. We have been pleased with the pizzas for the most part. Occasionally we need to ask for more of a certain topping. The service is good and our pizzas are made pretty quickly. The libation is perfect for us as it has easy access to the parkway. We normally pick out pizza and take it home. I have never gotten around to actually writing a review for Blaze. Tonight's pizza was perfectly crispy and had the perfect amount of toppings. I tend to stay more on the veggie side of toppings along with olive oil as my sauce. My toppings tonight were pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, artichokes, bell peppers, basil and chopped garlic. Tonight's pizza was exactly the way I like it. At the beginning of the line is where it all started. We were greeted like family and walked through the building process of our personal pie creation. Don't bother ordering from Blaze Pizza on Coffee. They won't answer the phone, and the food is both burnt and cold. Once you call 10 times, after them picking up and hanging up, they will just tell you how busy they are. Guess what? We are busy too, which is why we entrusted our order with you. My son decided he wanted pizza today so we decided on Blaze Pizza on Coffee Rd. We were greeted by the manager. Her name was Denise. She was very polite and her customer service skills were 2nd 2 none. She made sure our pizza and visit was top notch . This is our favorite Blaze pizza location. It was a good thing it was spur of the moment bust during the week, because we didn't have any wait. It was so empty in there that I felt like a star that had rented out the entire place! I'm usually not this lucky. Someone must've told the universe that I needed a good date lunch experience. Because we sure had it. The table was dirty, but when my fiancé pointed it out they came over and wiped off the bench and table quickly. The salted chocolate chip cookies are so good. Very much loaded with every calorie that you can imagine but it was worth it. I have to be honest. Even though I love this place. It usually doesn't have dirty tables and the ones outside hadn't been paid attention to either. They were all very dusty and dirty. They took out my favorite soda. It was a Blue Sky soda as well. A clear Black Cherry, it didn't have additives and now I have to order it from Amazon. But, the pizza with the thin traditional crust is always good. Nice flavor, hot and the toppings were very fresh. They have several meats to choose from, my favorites are pepperoni, pineapple and salami. I always have them toss on some bacon, basil and a little sea salt. It's the best. If you have kids just get one and put different toppings on the sides and have them share. Pro-tip! You're welcome! The staff was friendly and we didn't have any issues with them. One of the staff were paying attention to my fiancé and mine conversation and overheard her saying that she had a hard time pulling her pieces apart because the new guy hadn't cut her pizza all the way through. Then we over hear the veteran worker tell him to let him know when the next pizza was done so he could show him how to cut it. It was a nice visit and we'll come back again soon. Try this place, they have curb side service, so if you're planning on visiting during dinner hours or a Friday nice you can call ahead and it'll save you a lot of time. We have been coming here for years and there are good reasons why: good food and excellent service! On this day, Saturday, April 19, 2023, we were enthusiastically welcomed back by Denise, who helped Samuel prepare our orders. Added a picture to show how generous they are with toppings. No skimping here and, if course, the ingredients are always fresh. Some places we've gone, even other Blaze Pizzas in town, skimp or make you practically beg for toppings. But not at this Blaze location. And the pizzas are always cooked up just perfect - today Samantha sliced and served the pies. As always, the atmosphere is cheerful, fun and makes for a pleasant lunch for the family. My son is always excited to go to Blaze! This place just hit so many marks. They didn't put extra pepperoni on my pizza like I asked them to, they had no ice for the soft drinks which were not chilled at all, and then they also didn't have the dessert that I ordered. I placed this order online and had I been ordering this with them making it in front of me and I asked for extra pepperoni I could have easily been like 'hey that's not extra pepperoni that's just easy pepperoni', and they could have also told me that they were out of the s'mores dessert before I paid for it. It would be nice if their online inventory reflected what was actually available in the store and also if they could actually follow the instructions in the comments that are available for the customers to place special requests for their orders. It clearly shows it on the receipt that is stuck to the box that I asked for extra pepperoni. I think anyone with eyes can see that there is a special instruction on the receipt and that this is not in fact extra pepperoni to any degree on this pizza! So fucking irritating. The woman making pizzas was very awkward and very slow. The second time I came in, it was the same situation. Two employees. I literally stood in line for 15-20 mins with only 1 group of three ahead of me, and their order still hadn't been taken. The 1 guy making pizzas was making online orders I believe but didn't say anything to us, like "I'll be right with u guys" or anything.
