For our meals, the Rib-eye sliced steak sandwich was lean and cooked as ordered, steak fries were good but maybe just a slight bit overcooked - and they reminded me a bit of Iron Horse's "railroad tie" fries in Westwood, NJ. Decent fries overall. My "Dublinator" sandwich was really good! Lean sliced corned beef with carmelized onion, melted cheddar and thin slices of apple w/ garlic aioli on a toasted hero roll. We had reservations at a restaurant next to the Blarney Station, Fourteen Railroad which is also on Yelp with my review 1-Star because they don't allow Zero stars. The nice thing about it was we went to the Blarney Station at 10 Railroad - next door- and had a great meal and were served not only by the waitstaff but also the owner who was a complete joy and was very appreciative of the business! Bonus was... the food was EXCELLENT! I have to say that the night went extremely well after a horrible start because the restaurant next door, (Fourteen Railroad) who has the most arrogant unprofessional owner I've ever encountered, who tried his hardest to destroy a fun gathering of friends. We have been going to Blarney Station for years. We know many of the bartenders a were afraid when we heard the business had been sold and the menu had changed. FEAR NOT!! The same welcoming Fernanda is there and works the bar like a maestro plays an instrument. My burger was fantastic as were my fry's! Owner Matt introduced himself and gave a few minutes to chat. The restaurant section was FULL!! Made me happy as our haunt was never an eatery, lookout railroad avenue, there's a new chef in town and is doing a fine job as measured by the customers in and out all afternoon. The place has been given a much needed facelift , I was sad when I first saw it but it looks nice, especially the restaurant area!! read more

Our server/hostess/bartender Alex was great, had the Sheppard pie was delish, the sliders my friend had were awesome so we're the fries. You need to be vaccinated to eat in which was fine with us. I've been in the service industry for many years. The male n female servers should be fired. The disrespect they gave 8 customers was unbelievable. Leaving all 8 ppl to walk out. Situated right off Main Street in the center of the town of Warwick this Irish Restaurant/Pub is a go to place for us. We usually run the winery gauntlet and end up here for a late lunch/early dinner type thing. Not crowded around 3:30-4:00pm and that's fine with me. The place is not large the seating is comfortable enough and I'm guessing that it may get crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. There's a decent sized bar if you're just going to hang and knock down a few. They have your typical Irish style menu. Bangers and Mash, Shepards Pie, Fish & Chips. Although some Irish friends of mine tell me that some of this food is not really Irish, who am I to judge, besides I've never been to Ireland at least not yet. Conveniently located across from the train station, this local hole-in-the-wall has surprisingly delicious food. We split a steak and risotto entree and fried chicken wings. The steak was perfectly cooked to temperature (medium) and the gluten-free mushroom and leek risotto was very creamy and delicious. The side veggies of corn and broccoli were well seasoned and buttery (instead of the usual bland, mushy overcooked broccoli at many pubs). The real standout were the chicken wings. Not the traditional buffalo style, these were "dry" wings so the skin was seasoned instead of drenched in sauce. The wings were a bit spicy, perhaps a blend of cayenne and black peppers. Humiliated Family of 4 coming to eat here and if you see the picture their menu states they have a burger named " The black dirt vegan burger" so we sat to eat. After finding out a different menu calls it the vegetarian burger, I simply ask if there are other options. The waitress says " we do not offer vegan options" so I asked nicely if my party can still eat here and since there was an error in their menu.. If it would be possible to pick up something next door and sit with my party to eat? The waitress became defensive and claimed the menu in front of restaurant and menu at hand were the same! Ate here recently for dinner. Our waitress came right over to serve us and checked on us often, although it was not crowded. My companion ordered the onion soup which looked good and I was told the same. I ordered the mix burger with cheese and jalapenos. It was a big (10 oz.) burger served on a big kaiser roll. I ordered the burger medium rare and was a bit overcooked. The sweet potato fries were good. I had a side of irish curry sauce which I thought was pretty good. My companion had the corned beef and cabbage and it looked ok. Bottom Line: This place was A-ok. It was not great yet it was not bad. The service was very good. Not my first time but it will be my last. Server was excellent, food was ok. When the check came there was a "Service Charge" of $2.24 . Never saw that before in the many times I've been there. Of course maybe it was and I just did not see it. But, what is the service they provided? Being a business serving food and drink? That is there business, not a service. Delicious bangers and mashed with a proper pint of Guinness. Love the outside tables by the main road with a small park across the street. My family and I visited the Blarney Station before a free Blue Grass Concert right across the street on railroad green. We sat outside which was perfect for early September. Our waitress came over right away and greeted us. Very friendly place. My dad got beef stew, I had Shepherd's pie, my fiance ordered the blackened cajun wings and irish curry fries, and my mom had the dublinator sandwich. The wings were fantastic! Perfectly crispy and great flavor! The stew was also excellent and cooked to perfection. The Dublinator was piled high with corned beef and my mother loved it. My shepherd's pie was okay. I wouldn't get it again because the other meals were better. The shepherd's pie was rather dry and didn't have a lot of flavor. Of course, some people actually like it this way. Went here two months ago and my girlfriend and I split the lamb and Kobe sliders and they were great, and service was friendly and fast. there was an obnoxious party screaming and yelling a few tables away, but it's a bar first so I couldn't really blame them for not doing anything. We came here for New Years this year, there was one server with THREE tables and she complained about how tired and miserable she was every time she came to our table. We got the same thing and also an Irish nachos app, our burgers came first, and when our nachos came, they'd obviously been sitting under a heat lamp for over twenty minutes. Burgers were overdone but still somehow made me so sick that we had to leave and spend New Year's Eve on the couch. One of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. It was great the first time, but there's no excuse for the place to fall off so hard on New Year's because of a couple five tops. Delicious!! So happy we came here. We had the Gaelic Chicken Cordon Bleu which came with garlicky yummy veg and mashed potatoes, the Dublinator, a variation of a Reuben and the colcannon as a side. Soooo we ended up grabbing food and drinks. The food was good. Here is the quick run down: - The wings are super crispy and packed with flavor. They have a crazy garlic ranch sauce that you can dip them in. -The mozzarella sticks are good, but they have a strange dipping sauce. Before I start this, I want to say that I have enjoyed this place many, many times over the years. I live a couple towns over, love the food (I always order the potato leek soup and the fish & chips) and until today the employees (especially the bartenders) have been top notch. I don't know the owner by name, but I've seen him many times and he's seen me. It always been an extremely pleasant experience, but TODAY, I came in around 6:00 pm & a young woman (who've I've never seen before) was tending bar. Before I even sat down, she came up to me and said, "Have you heard about the new law?" I thought she was going to say something about the patch (middle finger) on the back of my leather vest. I replied, "No." She then said, "You have to order food in order to get a drink." I hadn't sat down yet, she didn't ask if I wanted anything to drink and seemed like she was qualifying me before I even sat down, but I said, "How long has this been in effect" (because my wife and I were just in there a couple of weeks ago). She said, " Two weeks ago." So I said, "Ok," and sat down. This kid just stood there literally for about 30 seconds not saying a word and just staring at me. Finally, she said, "So what do you want to do?" I'm thinking to myself, I just said Ok and sat down. What is with the attitude? So I said, "Are you going to give me a menu or just stand there?" Yes, I was rude because this girl had an attitude before I even pulled out the chair to sit. She gave me the menu (though I know it by heart), I looked at it (she still didn't ask me what I wanted to drink) and thought to myself, "And I'm going to have to tip this girl on top of the attitude?" I said, NO WAY. I put the menu down and walked over to Fetch where the bartenders could teach this girl at Blarney a lesson in how to treat customers. This bar looked homey and not at all pretentious so we stopped in for a pint. Boy were we surprised to find a fun and friendly environment with AWESOME food! Bartenders made us feel comfortable right away and steered our appetites in the right direction. The wife had homemade pork dumplings, while I myself enjoyed an Irish Stew that was off the charts. The red headed bitch working the bar had such and ugly attitude when I said I didn't like something and wanted it redone and the waitress who was serving my table tried to give me the wrong drink TWICE which would have made me pay $12 for something i didn't want if I haven't spoken up about it. The next thing I want to get into is the people (customers). This old couple would not get their eyes off me and my table with disgusted looks on their faces even when we walked in. Another table was VERY loud and disruptive. And the last thing I want to get into are the Prices of the food, How the food was, and the menu. To start off the menu has absolutely NOTHING on it.. I really mean nothing and the prices are over the top. The food sucked every time I have gone there I don't know how they are still open.
