I never come here. I've been in here twice in my life…read more Today I came in for an Amazon return for 2 huge foam bed mattress. Sadly, their parking lot doesn't have a cart corral. So carrying 2 foam mattress and their boxes was a difficult task for me. (I've gotten leg surgery a week ago, so walking is difficult) Luckily, I parked close by the door. When I got in the store, the carts are to your left, so I placed my foam mattress on top. Their Amazon return is all the way at the back, so I wobbly myself there. A middle age man helped me with my return. He was quick and efficient. However, he wouldn't take my boxes and help me recycle them. Told me to take it home to recycle. After the return, he hands my receipt, explain that both my returns are on it. Wobbly back to the front and return the cart. It's weird, because there's always cars park there but they belong to City Hall employees and any else who works close by. There are a few cars park in the middle of the lot but inside there's like 2 customers. It's extremely quiet in there it feels eerie. Idk how they're staying afloat besides having Amazon there.

Absolutely nobody shops here. The structure exists purely to facilitate the return of Amazon…read morepackages yet they don't actually have any idea how to do that and intentionally make it as difficult as possible. I needed to return four brake rotors after Amazon screwed up my order multiple times and Kohl's was the only return option they were willing to offer me. The rotors weigh 40-50lbs each. I thought I'd just load them up into a shopping cart to make the journey to the back of the store easier, but, surprise, surprise, you can't take a Kohl's shopping cart past the front door without the wheels locking up. I went back and asked the incredibly old person working the returns counter if I could use one of the numerous orange carts they had sitting around completely empty to help move the heavy items. He said no and suggested I get some friends to come help me instead. I said I'd just bring them in one at a time and stack them on the counter in trips and then get in line when they were all there. He said that would be fine. As I'm bringing them in he stops me and tells me that I have to remain with the items at all times or else some kind of magical alarm will sound because the Kohl's building is somehow capable of detecting unattended items. I pointed out that the entire store is nothing but unattended items because nobody's shopping there and the only two clerks are just standing around staring at their phones. He did this weird bowing thing that made absolutely no sense while continuing to insist that I must remain with the items at all times. I asked him how I was supposed to stand in line at the returns counter and remain with the items that were already at the counter at the same time. He could not understand the fact that this was physically impossible but eventually suggested that I go get a shopping cart and wait in line with that. I pointed out that I could not go get a shopping cart and remain with the items at all times and he once again just glitched out and started rambling about some kind of alarm that absolutely does not exist. That was when I stopped listening to him and just got in line. I started moving the rotors over to where he could scan them and he started complaining about how heavy they were. No kidding, grandpa.
