New Mexico style! - A freestanding restaurant sign displays an advertisement for a New Mexico-style burger with two Angus beef patties, hatch green chile, and cheese. The sign features a large image of a burger with multiple layers, including lettuce, tomato, cheese, and beef patties, on a bun. The sign is placed indoors near a counter and a mop, with a person partially visible behind a food preparation area. The sign emphasizes ordering this specific burger and highlights its ingredients, including hatch green chile and cheese.

Fantastic Burger..! Friendly staff..great portions ..got there almost at Corine but they were kind enough to still serve us ..

A close-up image of an elderly man with white hair and a full white beard, smiling with eyes partially closed. He is wearing a blue hospital gown with a snowflake pattern, and the background suggests a hospital or medical environment. The man appears to be in good spirits, possibly resting or recovering.

They have the best Hamburger in the area. And the staff in Moriarty are superb! Moriarty Blake's is 5 star!

Refurbished 1940s diner - A man with gray hair, wearing a dark blue jacket, is sitting in a booth at a fast-food restaurant, holding a drink with a straw. The restaurant has red and white booths, large windows along one side, and a tiled floor. There are a few other customers in the background, and promotional signage is visible on the walls and near the entrance.

A perfect exit from I-40 in Moriarty. Clean, friendly place with Route 66 history. The Lotaburger was delicious as was the Mexican Lotaburger. The Cherry Milkshake could have been made from the old fashioned original recipe: so cherry and so thick.

Great food and fast service. Love the seasoned fries and the New Mexico burger was big enough to split. Drive through only.

I decided to stay with the Mexican food theme. I had a taco, an enchilada, and a chile relleno. Everything was good! I haven't had a good chile relleon in a long time, and this one was good. The sauce was good on the enchilada. Everything was good. I had a tickle in my throat, and the chile was a bit spicy and made me cough, but it was good. I enjoyed the food and the company. The restrooms were retro, very 90s, run down but clean, and if I was running from the Sinaloa Cartel...I could picture myself hiding in a place like this. Almost like a mix between the films Memento and Breaking Bad. But yes, Lisa's Grill. I had to stop in at this Southwestern Flare Diner! It's situated inside the truck stop, with a very 70s & 80s atomic age diners vibe like that one scene in the Kingsmen movie. Loved the ceiling, bold colored red, glossy, with silver...makes Johnny Rockets look artificial. So I had to try their top picks on the menu. The Red Rooster -- country fried steak with red hot sauce, and their hatch chilli burgers. The food was ok, Id probably rate a 3.5/5. Menu is heavily influenced by Spanish cuisine. If your looking for a quick breakfast along route 66 in Central New Mexico, this is a good spot to take a break. Overall service, environment food I'd give it a 4/5. Seems pretty popular amongst the locals, and place is pretty packed for a lunch run. Yea, definitely come check it out!

5 Stars - A Hidden Gem in Moriarty, NM…read more Chili Hills may not look like much from the outside, but don't let the unassuming exterior fool you--this place is fantastic! We stopped in for dinner based on the glowing Yelp reviews, and they were absolutely right. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and friendliness. The vibe was laid-back and local, with just a few other diners--it is Moriarty, after all--but the service was top-notch. Hubby was thrilled to see they serve all-day breakfast, so he went for the pancakes, and I ordered the combo fajitas (chicken and steak). While waiting, they brought out chips and salsa. The salsa was a bit too spicy for me, but no problem--they happily brought ranch dressing instead. Win! The food portions? HUGE. My fajitas were sizzling perfection--tender meat, just the right amount of peppers and onions, and all the fixings: guac, lettuce, cheese, salsa, tomatoes, and soft flour tortillas. So good. Five big ol' flavor booms. Hubby gave the pancakes two thumbs up--and he's picky about his pancakes, so that's saying something. Two hearty meals, drinks (yay for Diet Dr. Pepper!), friendly service, and all for around $45. Totally worth it. We'd go out of our way to eat here again on our return trip. Highly recommend this spot if you're anywhere near I-40 and need a satisfying, no-frills, home-style meal.

Next, we split the cassoulet - a duck confit leg quarter, Toulouse sausage, pork belly, and carrots nestled into a bed of white beans and herbs with a side of sourdough and French butter. The place is popular, especially given very high quality of pastry products and the line is often a bit long (given so many locals/tourists stop by this place)...and simply..the place is one of the best pastry shops in Santa Fe. Parking is a little limited in their own parking lot and the shop is sort of crowded, but you can always park on a street outside (albeit some small parking fees). Overall, I really enjoyed the pastries here...although I think the drink (I got matcha latte...true, true, matcha latte isn't much of a western drink..so maybe I'm wrong to judge a restaurant by this drink) wasn't so much of my highlights. I would, definitely recommend this place for pastries for sure though!
