Julie was so warm and welcoming and wasn't scared by my issues (like I was). She explained everything for me step-by-step since I've never been through the process before, and it was all so relaxing from start to finish. She was very open and honest about her assessment and was kind throughout. (This makes me feel all sorts of feelings! Why can't things stay the same and continue forever and ever?) However, nothing is forever, darling. I now see another amazing massage therapist at Indy Massage Company named Matthew. He is pretty great, and I look forward to relaxing on his table each month at IMC. He is intuitive and firm yet incredibly gentle, and I'm able to just surrender and let him work his magic. I've mostly only booked Swedish massages with him, but one time I booked a longer session where he really worked out the muscles in my upper back and shoulders, which really needed attention. Indy Massage Company is one of my favorite places in Indy, and I continue to love visiting this place when I can.

Dark lighting, relaxing music...just what you would expect! Ashely's facials are wonderful and very thorough...my skin feels baby soft afterward. Great if you have problematic skin or acne like me. I arrived for my 5 hour appointment and was greeted by the receptionist, who told me that Dawn would come get me in a few minutes for my manicure and asked if I wanted something to drink. A few minutes later I was given the Jimmy John menu and asked what I would like to have for lunch. When Dawn came and got me, I told her that I was going to be there for 5 hours and wanted to put away my coat and purse and she took me to the bathroom where the lockers were. I couldn't fit my coat in the locker, so she took my coat and I locked up my purse. The manicure and pedicure were F A B U L O U S--would go back for that. My facial was next and I thought I would have been given a robe, but arrived fully dress for the facial and was given a gown to chage into. Normaly I'm not sensetive to cleaners, but for some reason my nose area was a little red when we were done. Got dressed, then it was my massage, where I had to get undressed again. My face being in the massage pillow for 20-30 minutes and the hard sanitary cover/tissue, made my face even more irritated, however my overall massage was wonderful. I had been to the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa the month before for a similiar day (minus the pedicure) and guess got spoiled (I thought the receptionists would have realized that being there for 5 hours, I would had at leasted expected to put my things down. I was taken aback when her response was - I DIDN'T CALL YOU ABOUT THE WEATHER. To which I had to school the rude tot with HAVE YOU LOOKED AT THE WEATHER forecast? It's supposed to be bad out! Needless to say I made it to my appt and obviously the office staff did not. I feel a weather cancellation/postponement notice should've been sent out.
