Turns out I tested positive for the flu but no initial result of Covid from the fifteen minute quick test. I say this because he contacted me twenty four hours later to inform me that he had sent the test strip in for a lab result that also came back negative. An act I believe was above and beyond the norm. Mr. Hinde's bed side manner exemplified his professionalism. I will absolutely be returning to this location for care under his medical guidance. The examination was performed only while I was lying down, even though I specifically explained that the issue is apparent when I am standing. Rather than adjusting the evaluation to address what I was reporting or investigating my concerns further, they were dismissed. What makes this especially frustrating is that I waited weeks for this specialist appointment, only to now have to start over and potentially wait several more weeks for a second opinion from someone who will actually listen and properly evaluate the problem. When a medical issue is already significantly interfering with someone's quality of life, losing additional weeks because concerns were not taken seriously is incredibly discouraging. I left feeling unheard and without any meaningful explanation, diagnosis, or plan for moving forward. I expected much better from a women's health center.

As a provider, he's average and the interaction was awkward. 1. The front office staff felt like their curse-word infused, personal conversations were more important than checking me in, waiting 5 minutes as they chatted as I stood in view. 2. Dr. Paxton was 1 hour late to the appointment. I should have left at this point. 3. I was very specific about getting a preventative, physical exam and he said "They don't pay me to perform wellness exams" which led me to ask "should I be here then?" and him assuring me I should be. Uhhh okay? 4. The office incorrectly billed my insurance and they blamed my insurance for processing their codes as outside of my covered services which led me to having a bill when I shouldn't have. Their billing person is conveniently located remotely, so you can only get ahold of her if she calls you. This seems a little intentional. I filed a formal complaint/appeal with my insurance as I found this visit a waste of my time and money filled with unprofessionalism and billing errors. I've been in such pain and called in sick to work and they had the nerve To ask me who told me to call in sick when I can't even sit without being in terrible pain. I had surgery scheduled and now I have to start over with my new doctor and they have made me have to postpone this very much needed surgery along with Jeopardizing my reputation at my job and jeopardizing my state disability. I have a very strenuous job and lift 50 pounds on a daily basis, but they didn't care. They acted like I was trying to take time off of work for no reason. Staff is very demeaning, rude and sarcastic. In this type of practice, Dr should really have educated staff that know how to talk to people, especially in this field . They literally made me cry four different times after hanging up with them. They kept changing their stories and just ganging up on you like bullies in grade school. Pretty pathetic so I've now gone to a different Doctor Who is amazing and his whole staff treats you with respect and listens to your concerns and actually cares. Steer clear of this practice because you will be terribly disappointed and frustrated your choice. If anyone decides to go with Dr. Stone's office, you will be pretty much on your own with no help from his staff. If you have complications or questions you might as well forget about telling them because they'll just poo poo your symptoms and act like you're insane. I don't think anybody wants or expects to be treated that way. I recorded every single phone call and I suggest anybody that may be going to them do the same. They just couldn't comprehend the simple fact that I work out of California, but live in Arizona and I've been paying in interstate disability for years and it's there for me to use in these situations. They kept saying that it was Fmla and it was Social Security disability and then jessica had the nerve to say sarcastically "well we're not in California, we're in Arizona. " Literally talk to me like I was a five-year-old. It was maddening There are Many better urogynecology practices. Don't make the mistake that I made. And also read the reviews. There are a-lot about his incompetent, uncaring staff even one says it's like his staff are sleepwalking through their jobs. Beware . Very sad situation.
