From my initial appointment at The Women's Center in Mesa, my experience has been exceptional. The entrance (waiting area) was open and welcoming. The receptionist acknowledged my presence, invited me to the front desk and began the appointment process. After confirming the history I submitted prior to the appointment, a short wait occurred before I was called back. Without all the extra detail, preparations for the appointment were exemplary. Vitals were taken, more history was confirmed, expectations were shared, and potential concerns were addressed. Several appointments have passed, surgery was performed and my quality of life has greatly improved. Although I found The Women's Center based on a referral, I recommend the entire medical agency to any woman who may delay learning about various options regarding her health. This is a beautiful medical space, the front office staff were so friendly and patient with those checking in/out. The waiting area has a lot of eating and it's spacious. The bathroom was also a nice size and kept very clean. Once called to the back the MA was so friendly and took time to review all meds, concerns and what to expect next. The provider was equally as nice and took the time to educate and explain what he believed was going on and how we can proceed to progress. read more

This practice was recommended to me by my OBGYN to oversee my surgery for pelvic organ prolapse. Dr. Jeppson was incredible and extremely helpful through the whole process! Surgery went great! Highly recommend this place if you have POP and are looking to have it corrected. read more

Front office staff are not friendly, (new) surgery coordinator/scheduler was rude, explained pain after surgery but was not concerned & said it's normal, was charged on the surgery follow up appointment, when they specifically stated there is no charge for after surgery follow up, no explanation of payment required and/or specification of insurance coverage, scheduled the surgery date but advised the surgery date & time can change, etc. You are just another $ to this practice. They don't care about your well being other than how much they can get out of you by scheduling unnecessary appointments and/or recommend office visit. Was told 6 weeks recovery from the surgery but 3 months after the surgery and here I am with sharp pain when lying on one side but they say this is normal. During the follow up visit, I've explained the pain & was told it's nothing & surgery went well. Not too sure if surgery truly went well with the pain I am having. You would think they'll do an ultrasound or something, but just kept being told it's normal after 3 months & everybody recovers differently. read more

I am not a satisfied patient and wish to leave a very bad review. This was my first appointment with this Women's Center. My previous gynecologist retired and I needed to find a new gynecologist. I looked online and found this business under gynecologist near me. I scheduled an appointment in February, 2024. I just wanted a pap test. I was called to the exam room and met Jennifer, a nurse practioner. She was pleasant but asked me to first urinate and then return to room. She then inserted a small catheter into my bladder and poked my bladder until a small bit of urine plus blood caused by poking my bladder wall. It was very painful. A few days later I called the office because I thought I might have a uti. I was told that my urine test was negative so they could not prescribe an antibiotic. They told me to see a lab nearer to my home for a urine test. Two days later I collapsed on the floor and my partner took me to the ER and discovered I had a raging UTI. I had antibiotics and sent home and told to see my doctor. The next day my doctor still found a bladder infection and prescribed more antibiotics. I am still concerned about any possible kidney damage. I do not recommend this business to anyone!!! read more

If I could give them a million stars I would. I was told by other doctors I had an incurable autoimmune disorder where my body would attack itself. I have been a patient at The women's center for several years but as of yesterday I'm not! Tried off and on for 4 hours calling before a staff member answered the phone. When this person answered the phone they said "hello". I hesitated briefly and asked is this the women's center? Her response, yes. I said I thought that I had the wrong number because all you said was hello. I then proceeded to try and make an appointment with Andrea the physical therapist. I was told that she is no longer there and did I want an appointment with the new one. Ok but, the new physical therapist will not bill any commercial insurance she is cash pay only. I was told that the charge would be $250 for an hour session. Wow! I can't afford that!!!!! read more

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. First they never answer their phones, NEVER. To date I've never gotten a call back. Dr. Stratford Is nice but I'm looking to fix the problem. Secondly they try to sell you on EMS - what they don't say is their Pelvic Floor exercise is bio-feedback not EMS, some insurance may or may not pay for it. I have a mind that won't turn off, so bio-feedback never worked for me even when suffering from migraines. Then they don't tell you that the sensor isn't covered, so you are out of pocket $50 for the probe/sensor. If I had been told the truth that their EMS was bio-feed back I would have never done it. Then I was told that the mesh they used in there practice hasn't had any lawsuits, IT HAS! Do your research, as that was completely misleading and a lie. There has been lawsuits against the type of mesh they use. The practice wasn't very transparent and don't get all excited because they post video's. This isn't how you should judge a practice. One thing I don't tolerate is being mislead or lied too! Mesh has destroyed many women's lives, including 2 of my girlfriends! When mesh can destroy a persons life, they should know better then to mislead or lie to you. read more

So far I've had no issues here. The doctor, PA, and PT are very nice and explain things in depth. They're gentle and have good beside manner. When I was recommended PT they gave me a paper explaining the whole process, what would and may not be covered including the information about the sensor possibly costing $50. They also do more than just biofeedback-- they do EMS and stimulate the pelvic floor as well. I've also received prompt call backs within the same day or next day. I've had some generally bad experiences around the valley but actually look forward to my appointments here. Billing has been correct, prompt with almost no wait times, really no complaints to be had. read more

I had two procedures ( hysterectomy and bladder "lift" ) by Dr Kantartzis and once surgery was over I was handed off to the medical assistants ( who both were excellent so I did f mind, even though I thought it odd that the doc was hands off after such extensive surgery) to whom I immediately told, once I was healed, I was having problems sleeping on stomach or back ( felt pressure and had to sleep in side). I was assured it would go away, it didn't . I complained that possibly the bladder was to " tight/small" and they told me to give it time. Then cam w covid and now I would like to see Dr Kantartzis and she is " too busy" till January. So once again, she is not available, just like after the surgery ! I would nit recommend this doctor to anyone that expects professional follow through! I cannot believe she gets great reviews, because she sees you, makes a plan, does surgery and disappears !! That all being said, the staff was nice, the med assistants were great and helpful, and most importantly, the woman who helped me with bladder therapy was fantastic! It is just the doc :( read more

I had a great experience with Dr. Kantartzis after a very traumatic birth experience. She was thorough, did not rush the appointment, and continued to email me after the appointment when I had more questions. As a nurse, I was super impressed by her bedside manner. I truly felt like she wanted to help me. However, the ancillary staff's customer service skills were atrocious. When contemplating surgery, no one would help me when trying to understand what my insurance would cover. This caused so much unnecessary stress to me. I was transferred to so many different people and no one offered me any help. As someone in healthcare, I would never speak to a patient the way I was. read more

First of all this office has moved to North Mesa and is brand new. I have been working on my pelvic floor issues and interstitial cystitis for years now with very little help from my gyno, physical therapy specialist and Uro. I found Dr. Stratford and his office by searching on the web. I just wish I had found him sooner! He is so easy to talk with and he is an expert! I had the most thorough exam I have ever had and he took the time to listen to all of my background and everything I have tried. Together we made a plan of action and finally I feel I am being taken care of. It is a plus that he is a urogynocologist also so I now have 1 doctor who will work on everything vs. 2 doctors that never communicated. Dr. Kelly Kantartzis and Dr. Ryan Stratford are by far two of the best doctors I have worked with in many years. The primary doctor for my diagnosed pelvic prolapse and needed hysterectomy was Dr. Kelly; from my first appt when Dr. Kelly  made me feel safe and relaxed, to the surgery at the Rembrandt Surgical Center, I always felt like I was in 100% capable and caring hands. Dr. Ryan assisted with the surgery--I was very grateful to have 2 outstanding, highly trained surgeons working together on my behalf. In addition, Dr. Catton, the anesthesiologist, also checked on me before the surgery and gave me assurance and confidence. Note: having the surgery at the Rembrandt Surgical Center was excellent. From the personal admin check-in, to the 2 exceptional nurses, to the focused attention from all three of the doctors, I had the finest possible medical/surgical experience possible. She has less invasive options to try first if you want .( The other dr never told me about those, if only I had known about those options ) She is what we wish all Drs were. I went there today for a 2nd option. I was there for one hour and forty minutes and never got to see the doctor. It's very rude to treat people that way!! My time is just as valuable as the doctors!! I have been extremely pleased with my experience at The Women's Center for Advanced Pelvic Surgery. My first consultation appointment was made in a timely manner. The office is clean, bright, and welcoming. The front office staff is attentive and helpful as soon as I walk in. They are friendly and answer all my questions. The back office staff is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Dr. Ryan Stratford put me at ease about my urological issue, surgery options, possible complications, and expected outcome. He was very thorough in explaining my issue with diagrams, as well as medical information, in terms I could understand. My surgery was scheduled with no problems. I was contacted by the his office and surgery center to complete paperwork and questions prior to my surgery. My follow up appointments after surgery were great and questions about my recovery were answered in detail. I could not be more pleased with my surgery and the outcome. I have been coming here for a while and have let somethings go, such as staff talking about other staff members or doctors or even patients but my experience this week was more than I could take. I was at the appointment desk and a delightful young girl was helping me, you could tell she was new and had someone who we will call "Mady" helping/training her. Well apparently this girl hit the work thing and "Mady" yelled at her right in front of me. This poor girl looked mortified as she should have been. I was embarrassed for her! I think this office needs a GREAT office manager who is willing to teach and train as needed and make sure that the other staff members remain professional at all times.
