this is a new restaurant in corona, ca. the location they are on is used to be baco. hmmmm maybe the same owner. food was not that impressive for $20. was the price equivalent to the order? i have ordered the vege omelet. i forget to ask how many eggs are in the omelet. it was too salty and spicy served, with a side of fresh vege. it was not mentioned on the menu. is this restaurant owned by blackstone grill? or blacstone investment company. they also have chilaquiles on the menu. i wonder how it tastes compared with the real authentic mexican chilaquiles. i was not impressed with the food. the cost of the food was also pricey. will not come back. read more

1st time here and we had reservation for 6pm and we arrived and was seated promptly. Our server Matias was very good, very attentive and had a good sense of humor. Had a very good food selection and when it arrived everything was plated very well. The whole table enjoyed their meals and said everything was flavored very well. Went for the first time after the cars and coffee event. Very disappointed. Seated quickly, waters were poured, then my family and I were ignored for about twenty minutes or longer. Wait staff could be seen, but no attempt was made to approach us. We waited....and waited...no service whatsoever. Couldn't figure it out because the restaurant was not busy. Everything about this restaurant is worth eating there. The service is excellent from the moment you step into the restaurant until the moment you step out. Everyone is friendly, courteous and are mindful of anything you might need to enjoy your visit. The food is beyond delicious. The decor is very tasteful and the light music makes the ambience a place you can eat in comfort. I have eaten the spaghetti pancakes which are light, fluffy, and the fruit makes it very refreshing. The Mascarpone French Toast has the perfect crunch on the outside and soft on the inside and the sauce is to die for(I can drink it all by itself). They have the perfect amount of sweetness. The chicken and waffles are hands down the best I've ever had. The chicken is cooked to perfection being crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. The waffles are great and the combination of both goes so well. The chef's syrup is amazing and a must. Lastly, I had the Chilaquiles with jalapeño sauce and it lives rent free in my mind and tastebuds for life. These are mind blowing and my all time favorite. The jalapeño sauce is spicy but not overwhelming. The eggs were cooked to my liking (sunny side up). The chips are not soggy at all. Every dish that's brought to the table makes you not want to eat the food so you don't mess up how beautiful it looks. But don't be afraid to dig in, it's totally worth every bite. By the way, the Cafe De Olla is soooooo good. There is no need to add anything to it to drink it. I wish there were more than 5 stars to rate this place. First time here, came for a Mother's Day brunch. There were only two of us, and we were seated right away for our reservation. Staff was overall not welcoming or friendly. Once we were sat, no one came around to our table until about 15mins later. Other tables were served water and sweet bread, we didn't receive any until we asked. They had everyone sitting really close together and the tables were really small. Once I received my drink, I spilled it a couple minutes later trying to scoot over for people sitting down at the table next to us. The table we were at was wobbly too and we had to reinforce it with a napkin underneath one of the legs. I asked for another drink and they still charged us for another. The table next to us ordered a mocktail for their young daughter and she was served alcohol instead. The server forgot that we ordered a couple items and they didn't come until we asked towards the end of our meal. The food was decent but our overall experience was disappointing. I hate writing bad reviews, but I also think it's helpful. My husband and I are very kind and understanding, but sometimes it just not worth spending that much. read more

Everything about this restaurant is next level! We ordered the margarita flight, which was an excellent deal and each one was super tasty and refreshing. We started off with the calamari and it was delicious and so were the sauces. The mole enchiladas were the best I've ever had! I've been dreaming of them since! We also ordered the ceviche and that was to die for! The ribeye tacos were so scrumptious, I wish we would've taken an extra order to go. Their menu has so much variety, everybody can find something they would like. Besides the food, the actual restaurant is stunning! The lighting is just right: dim enough where your table feels intimate. The service since the moment we walked in was spectacular. Our server Michelle was attentive and an absolute sweetheart and her boss Omar made sure everyone was taken care of and gave us awesome recommendations. Was definitely let down from our experience... Not sure if the place was severely understaffed for a Saturday night, but service was poor not to the fault of our server. He seemed to have tables all over the restaurant. We're usually pretty patient guests. The worse part was our underwhelming food. It's extremely rate that I send my food back but had to send my scallops back as they were pan seared very poorly. No carmilization or color. The ribeye that I ordered instead came out quickly and was very good. Seemed very unorganized to the point where the table next to us walked out. I'm not understanding the mention of "calming ambiance" or "sexy vibe" in recent reviews. Tons of people are crammed into a small space, very dark inside as if we were about to eat by candlelight.... and the music was obnoxious so we had to yell at each other to have conversation....everyone else was doing the same so the noise was overwhelming. This was at 11am on a Saturday for brunch. The food was good, Pineapple pancakes though were unremarkable.... barely found the pineapple between the two pancakes- also hard to see in the dark. Butter served in those little plastic tubs and hard as a rock. Really? For the price, there should have been a bit more thought to the presentation and maybe some whipped butter? We had to "ask" for syrup which arrived as pancakes were turning cold. The Eggs Benedict Flight was served on a very small narrow tray, which 3 of us had ordered and remarked that we were sure we'd end up with something on our lap since the English muffin was very difficult to cut through with the butterknife. We had to ask for steak knives. Flavors were very good, but we all remarked that it was a lot of work. The waiter was nice, but got a little edgy when we were not leaving in the usual time he expected, obviously wanting to turn the table. None of our party expects to go back and I will not be recommending it to anyone we know. read more

First timers and it won't be the last time! My husband and I went there for dinner. We started with the calamari and it was great. They serve it with a garlic tartar sauce that was exceptional. My husband had the carne asada and shrimp while I had the chicken belagio. We were both very impressed by our meals! And the portions were large too. I will admit that the cocktails were a bit lackluster, especially for the price. But the food was well worth it and the service was great as well (thanks Juan Carlos!).
