They had tags that notated if an item was 50 or 75% off the already reduced price and I found a number of good deals anywhere from one dollar to nine dollars, specifically for Adidas Nike and the Dick's Sporting Goods brand. I was pretty impressed. They also had Patagonia, the Northface and Carhartt. If you have a Dick's Sporting Goods rewards number, you can use it here and you can also redeem rewards, doing that I ended up walking away with eight items for $38. Don't sleep on this place!

My husband had already done extensive research, so it was great to hear Barry echo many of the same things and not have him BS us with sales tactics or something. They do price-match, so they found a lower price from Dicks and matched it. We also opted for delivery and installation, which was an additional $199 but will be worth it as I sure am not moving a treadmill into the basement!! The rep fitted our kids with their helmets which cost 75 each. I don't know anything about bikes or helmets or fit, so I bought what she said was right. We started using them. About three weeks later, someone points out that my son's helmet is too small, doesn't cover his forehead. I decided to trust Croft on bike doc people since they must know what they are doing. A few days later someone else says the same thing. So I call them...wondering if they can reevaluate. This is an expensive helmet, and my kids safety is paramount. Welp, they said I was a few days outside of their 30 day return/exchange window. Wouldn't budge. Looks like we'll be shopping for a helmet and our bikes elsewhere. Anyway, place doesn't correct mistakes, and too inflexible on such a small thing to keep a return customer happy and safe without charging them more money.

REI is located in the Fairfax Govt Ctr shopping area. Staff is friendly but very picky about returns. It was obvious my products were new in original boxes with tags still on the products but this staff member inspected it with detail. I get it but her demeanor with me was not as friendly as the customer in front of me who made a purchase. Oh well, employee owned so I guess more picky.
