Called in an order for pickup, they said 15 minutes, that was the only decent part of our order. My total was $30. I gave the bartender $40, the bartender asked if I wanted change. Like he was getting a $10 tip for bringing a bag from the kitchen to me. When I got home I thought they got the order wrong on the Blackened Bleu, medium, but no, the teeny tiny teaspoon worth of bleu cheese was hiding under a strip of bacon and the burger was well done and the bun was half burnt and smashed by the logo branding iron. One of the best burgers I've had in my life. I chose the Freshman 15 burger with the truffle fried and baked beans as a side. AMAZING!!! Everything that was the burger and came with it was premium I mean A-1 ingredients. This burger was so fresh yet still was that sloppy greasy burger we all love. The pecan smoked bacon and the avocado and the fried and caramelized onions, house sauce and blue cheese came together perfectly! I started to rate only 4 starts but I didn't let my mistake change the fact that this burger was delicious. It was a little too rare for my taste. The lady who took my order didn't ask how I'd like my burger cooked and I didn't even think to tell her. I couldn't even finish because the pink meat was too much for me lol. The truffle fries were very flavorful but weren't salty enough for me, and the baked beans omg delish, I swear there's Italian sausage in them but I'm not sure! Okay sonthe vibe is basically like a bar. TVs for your sports fans by the bar. Service was quick and friendly. Cool menu. Craft beers. I definitely have a few items in mind for our next visit. Since I don't have pics, here is a rundown of what we all had. Hubs had buffalo wings and they were spot on. I had The People's Pig sandwich (pulled pork and slaw with their BBQ sauce) and it was such a large portion I couldn't finish but my son-in-law helped with that LOL. Daughter created her own burger which is a neat concept. Son-in-law had the Blackened Brew Slider sampler which is 3 decent sized sliders with the works. We enjoyed these burgers better than Mom's. We both had the kobe beef burgers and they were delicious! Huge patty, super tender and moist, and bursting with flavor. I really don't understand why this place has so many good reviews. I went here with my mom for my birthday. I was SUPER excited about eating a good burger, especially after reading these reviews. They might have been good if they weren't completely charred. You couldnt taste any flavor past the char. I got the coffee burger and she got the you're bacon me jelly burger and they both sucked equally. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the pulled pork nachos were okay. I really wanted to support local restaurants and we have been here several times before COVID-19 and the service and food was awesome! However, today when we went to support and ordered our food, it was totally different experience. I ordered the casual cow and asked that the meat be cooked well done and it was extremely pink and bread was stale. We saw about four or five people inside mingling and hanging out by the bar even though there should have been social distancing inside the restaurant. No one had any gloves or masks on. I saw a dog walking around as well. I asked the server does any one in the restaurant have on any gloves or PPE and he said no. He provided no reassurance that the food I was ordering was safe to eat or that they were practicing safety and proper food preparation during these difficult times, while as a nation we are dealing with COVID-19. I really want to continue supporting local restaurants during this time but experiences like this make me very skeptical and scared for the safety of my loved ones. I love this place! I am in town for a short contract and I already feel like a local. Great bar, great owner, great staff, and amazing craft beer selection. 24 taps with exceptional selection of local and hard to find small batch beers (Bells Hop Slam - seriously hard to find, even in MI). The food was off the chain, tried the steak and eggs over a bed of tasty grits, loved every bite. I will be back to explore the rest of their menu, can't wait to enjoy more of their menu! Would like to say this restaurant will outlast the other ones in the same location, but the horrible attitude of the owner won't keep this place open for long. I've been here twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. The atmosphere was decent. Many beers on tap to choose from. Service is average. I got burgers both times, and they are ok. Nothing to ride home about. My biggest issue with his place is the extremely long time it took to get our food both times. Lunch time was fairly busy, and it took over 35 minutes to get our burgers. Friday night dinner took even longer! I know what you're thinking, Friday night you need to expect that, but we were one of three tables in the whole joint!
