I was able to get the most delicious bloody mary while my husband had a crown and 7. There is a cool selection of liquor to browse. We bought a couple bottles that we had never seen before. The guy working seemed pretty knowledgable about the bottled liquor and was quick to answer any questions they had. He gave us prompt and courteous service. They also had a cooler with wines and a separate cooler that actually had some steaks and cheese. My husband and I joked about it being a one stop shop for Valentine's day! It did lose one star because it was a bit dusty in there. It could use a good cleaning.

Pretty sure every person working checked on us at some point - including the owner and chef. We ordered the duck samosa, lamb kafta, fried halloumi and bacon wrapped dates. Everything was delicious. Only complaint was that they were out of the steak tips and Moroccan egg rolls, but with how everything is these days ... It's to be expected. We moved to Hammond about 2.5 years ago and Truth joins just a small handful of restaurants we have eaten at that we will return to.

Well he sure did err on the rare side. The burger comes out the 2nd time...and its raw. No way it was even rare. I eat rare burgers, no way I would eat that. Tell me you can't cook a burger without telling me you can't cook a burger. I mean just because you miss the mark cooking it the first time dont compound the problem by sending the next one out wrong in the opposite direction. Great atmosphere and service. Very surprised about the cook being unable to cook the burger to order as requested. Several trips here that have been great so I'm going to be generous here today and give them four stars.

My favorite Bar Ever... but I think everybody knows that. If you're looking for variety, this is the place to find it. If however you are looking for grocery store brand products, this is not the place for you. Specializing in Craft Beer, Boutique Wine and top shelf spirits... it is also a full service bar. It sits in a warehouse area, the brewing operation is right there in the back, and the whole place feels like the real deal. The beers are great, the service is friendly, and the vibe is super laid back. We stopped by on a random Saturday and they had a food vendor set up along with a pretty solid musician playing. It was warm, because Louisiana, but the big industrial fans kept things comfortable for the most part. This is not the place to dress up. Wear something comfortable, grab a few beers, hang out, listen to some music, and enjoy a brewery that actually feels like a brewery. Also, if you are riding the Tammany Trace, they are not that far away. So ride your bike over, stop in, and replenish those electrolytes with an IPA or two. That is how electrolytes work, right? Then ride slowly.

I pass this bar nearly every day and have always wondered how it was, but never stopped in. I was a tad overdressed since I was coming from La Provence, but I didn't care. The bar is pretty well lit for a dive. They could probably have turned out 3/4 of the lights to make it more divey. There was a pool table and a very long shuffleboard table. Shuffleboard in bars is an excellent concept. I never had been to a bar in Nola with shuffleboard, but this is the second Northshore bar with a table that I know of. The bar is very long and lined with bar stools. Above the bar there were four TVs all tuned to sports. The area next to the shuffleboard table has around 10 or so tables and chairs which was a nice place to sit and drink. There is also an area for a band, but there wasn't a show last night. The crowd was mixed. I was the best dressed, but it ran the gamut from young tattooed service industry folks to old dudes wearing LSU gear. The bartender was young, attractive and friendly. I ordered poorly (Fancy Lawnmower-nasty), but they did have a decent selection of other drafts (maybe 4-5). There was a Guinness draft sign, but I did not confirm that they had an actual draft. In summary, interference is a sports themed dive. It was too bright, but I'll be back.
