I wanted to play some leisure golf this afternoon and I found this place which looked promising so decided to give this golf course a try. Once arriving, it looked good and well maintained. I went in the small pro shop and it was cozy and the person at the counter was very friendly and cooperative. They have push carts too. They also have amenities such as a putting and chipping area, a practice range area (kind of), a ball washer and a club washer and more. The place was a little busy, but not crowded. The course looked beautiful and well maintained. My first impressions were that it was very laid back and easy, which is great for beginners with a lot of par 4s and 3s. The price was affordable which is a plus. Side note, this is only a 9 hole course. This course also has a lot of obstacles like sand traps and water hazards, which makes the game more challenging and fun at the same time. There was a lot of natural landscape, which is a plus with trees, rivers, etc. I played the nine holes and this is a great charming little golf course with well maintained fairways and greens with friendly staff and a charm to it with personality. read more

All holes are pretty similar. Conditions for greens are excellent, conditions for fairway is subpar.

Course is very beat up. Fairway grass isn't exactly fantastic, lots and lots of divots and marks everywhere, the greens are very hard, and there's a mat on the third tee because there isn't enough grass. Granted, it's a 9 hole muni so you can't complain too much. I'm just surprised that it felt like it was in worse condition than Rancho, and Rancho was both cheaper and in a worse area. Would recommend to beginners and those that want cheaper golf, I would go somewhere else if you are either good or have some extra cash to throw around. read more

A fantastic course for beginners. Relatively flat with a few par 4's in the mix. Its super affordable too and they have golf carts if you need them. I have some trauma from a broken windshield on a golf course but id recommend parking closer to the clubhouse than the 9th hole green. It looks like a good spot to park if you want a cracked windshield. read more

No idea why the driving range gets such a bad rap. For beginners just looking to get reps in and improve their game at a for a very low price, it's absolutely perfect. Great low key place for first time with kids!! We came with our 10&12 year olds that have never golfed before. The staff was incredible helpful and kind! Parking lot I wish had more shade. Check in is in the golf store. Sign in and accepting the waiver is electronic on an iPad. PRICE: 9 hole golf course. They have Groupons for discounted rates. Kinda sucked I wasn't playing and had to pay $5 due to a liability fee. I get it it's a business they want to make money but still, I haven't been charged that anywhere else. COURSE: has some shade so that was good especially being summer. Course map lists water but it's all dried up due to no rain and the drought. OVERALL: not a bad 9 hole course so three stars for being A-OK. Have been to better green courses where the grass is better kept. People in front of us were slow and not following good etiquette like swinging more than once and spending a lot of time looking for balls. I know not the fault of the golf course but maybe someone should explain the golf rules to them. read more

Great course, narrow and long fair ways, well kept. The staff here are friendly. I played with 3 other friends for 9 holes, took about 2 hours because it was pretty busy. We used golf now to reserve a tee time at a discounted rate! Watch out when parking by 9th hole, as wild balls come over the fence. There is a water station by the 4th hole with ice cold water and cups. read more

Blackberry farm is situated near Steven's Creek in Cupertino near the pool Rec center. At a par 29, you get to eek out a few longer par 4s but there are many short drop holes to hit as well. Good for practice before a full 18 course, but the drought really does show here. Dry grass and long waits (holiday weekend certainly played into that). Fairly priced at $17, I found the course just okay. Replay rates are $13 and there is a full bar upstairs, however the gals there were training a new lady, and she poured my drink wrong. Gave me a Jameson and water on the rocks instead of a Jameson and ginger ale. I took the drink anyway, but was still charged full price. My GF ordered a mojito and it was good, but all together it came to $20. A bit pricy for 2 drinks and one that was the wrong item... Anyways, probably will visit again but bring my own drinks and snacks. read more

This review is for the rental picnic area. We had about 150 people but the space is good up to 500. No speakers or amps allowed. Totally sucks! We brought in Darryl Scotti Events and they didn't even tell us about no speakers/music/amps. The location and ambiance is nice though. If you want a quite low key place, this is it. When the smiling young face at the farm's admission booth told informed me that it would cost $32.00 for four of us to swim at the facility pool, my reaction was "ouch!" but then I saw what that that money gave me access to. Two clean pools --- one with a twisted water slide, well manicured lawn, vigilant life guards, clean bathrooms and a cafe all embraced but a lush tree line. This place puts other public pools to shame!! I felt comfortable letting the two 10-year-olds exercise their independence and roam the pool area without my constant presence. For kids to swim in the deep end of the pool unattended, they must pass a swim test. The two oldest kids with me received a bright pink bracelet showing they had done just that. They were in and out of the deep end and shooting down the water slide consistently soon after wards. This is a great place to introduce young children to swimming. The water is shallow enough for them to stand up and put their faces in the water when they are ready in large parts of both pools. The temperature is also comfortable so there is no chance of surprising little ones with a cold shock when getting in. I would like to see more healthy choices in the cafe though. They do sell salads but there was an awful lot of candy for sale as well as greasy grill choices. It would have been nice to see fruit and some grab and go sandwich choices. All-in-all, a nice place though --- we'll be back! read more

Came here today to play the course with my father. Nice 9 hole beginners course that was perfect for my first time on the greens. Cheap price ($15) and gets the job done. I do believe there's also a restaurant nearby called the Blue Pheasant. Couple of things that I liked: the place wasn't too crowded so it was easy for my father and I to take our time and move around the course freely. Nice straight fairways so it wasn't difficult to make it through the holes. Had a water fountain and typical cleaners at each of the tee-ing areas. The grounds could be maintained a little better. Particularly the beginning of the holes when you tee off. I will say the putting green at each of the holes was very nice. Also, when we went the water in the lakes were gone. It would have looked beautiful if the ponds were filled. Finally, toward the end of the course, the club washer had some pretty disgusting water in it. That could be maintained a little better. read more

Not exactly Pebble Beach but for $22 for 9 holes for two people (yay for Yelp deals!) I ain't complainin'. There is no driving range here; only a net cage to drive balls into but the upside is that you can collect the balls and hit more! Only 9 holes here but perfect for a person of my skill level - that being novice - with only par 3's and 4's. A good place to take your kids as well as you are not rushed to play. The course is not really well maintained but definitely do-able. No golf carts either; you gotta walk but you can rent a pull cart for $3. Had lots of fun and didn't lose any balls either! read more

Extremely clean There are two pools which will cost $7 for Cupertino resident on Sat/Sun or $9 for non resident. They also have a season pass option too. The pools are very clean as well as the bathroom facilities. There are three very focused lifeguards at the larger pool and two on the smaller pool. The grassy area is also well groomed. Being your ice chests or even have a kids birthday party here. Everyone receives a wrist pass at the pool. The best thing your kids will love is the small water slide and they sell ice cream too. On March 15th, right before the shelter in place, my boyfriend and I came to play at Blackberry Farms Golf Club. We came in the afternoon and had an amazing experience! The gentleman in the pro-shop was very friendly and knew a lot about golf! He was one of the nicest pro-shop guys I've met and we play a LOT of golf! I learned how to swim here. It was the 80s, Reagan was president- America was prosperous. Gas was only 90cents a gallon. We lumbered to Blackberry Farm in a big yellow school bus with Headmaster Radovich, Ms. Victorine, and Ms. Carroll. We sang Old MacDonald all the way there. In the pool, we played ring around the rosy and squirted each other with red yellow ketchup bottles. They sold dum- dums at the snack shack. Under the July sun, we splashed around like ducks. There was a barbecue area that resembled the forest in Where the Wild Things Are. Tall leafy trees blocking golden rays of light. The hot dogs tasted better back then. Get off that swing, it's my turn! you push. Today the swimming pool is still there, as is the barbecue and benches in the shade of sycamores. Memories of the 8 year old me wave at the 33 yr old when I stare at the shimmering reflections from Blackberry creek. read more

This is a great course for someone who is just learning. I take my wife here frequently. While I would never come here on my own, (I frequent Cinnabar) my wife feels totally comfortable playing here for one very good reason: everyone is terrible. Now , that's NOT a bad thing. It's a GOOD thing. Everyone realizes that you're not hacking away at a dirt-cheap 9-hole course with aspirations of being Tiger Woods. Hence, everyone seems to have a pretty good attitude about balls flying across fairways and the like. It's actually a lot of fun and it's quite infrequent that you run into some wannabe who's raging mad that he missed a putt. It is quite noisy due to the bizarre weekly children's birthday parties at the houses next to the 1st fairway and the public swimming facility that runs along the back edge of the course. However, this seems to comfort newbie golfers as opposed to the dead silence of a real full-length course. I highly reccommend it as a great place to learn before attempting something more daunting. read more

I think Blackberry Farm is the perfect place for families with kids that does not have a pool at home. It's a public pool to both residents and nonresidents of Cupertino. If you want to have a decent clean pool to use during the summer with your kids and not having to pay $$$$ for a high end club (Courtside) then this is your answer. There are two pools. One of the pool has a slide for the kids and adult. There are outside showers for use as well as inside showers. The bathroom/changing room is not the cleanest but I've seen much worse in other public pools. There is a huge grass area for families to lounge around or picnic there. There's also a Blackberry Farm Cafe there for you to buy food. I've never bought food there so I can't review on that. The only downside is it can get really crowded on the weekends so make sure you go earlier to get a good picnic spot. My kids always have a ton of fun there and my husband and I love taking the kids there. read more

Great 9 hole course in the valley of stevens creek road between 85 and foothill expressway. Price is definitely great, condition is decent if you aren't too picky. EXTREMLY narrow fairway, it's a challenging course since you have to hit long tee shorts in most holes. No driving range but there is a "batting cage" to warm up your swing. Putting green right next to the first tee box to get your last minute gitter out of the way. read more

It's nice and quiet there also, you'd never know that you're in the city. The price is relatively inexpensive for a good stroll. No pressure or stress to play fast, just a good easy going course.
