This was a great choice because it allows you to sort of keep up with the flow of traffic and you also don't have a pedal so much lol. It was so fun! They give you a bike lock and paper map with suggested places to visit or you can do the guided tour with one of their tour guides. I saw one in passing and it looked pretty fun. The bikes come with a little bag on the front to hold the lock and other small things. You also have the option to add a cell phone holder or basket to the bike, even a picnic add-on (basket, reusable wine glasses, blanket, & coupons). I would definitely use their bikes again!

Love these guys!…read more Knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I went in to get a tuneup after moving to the area and rather than charge me full price for the end-to-end service, they only fixed the couple of issues that were out of whack after the move. After returning my bike to peak operating form, they put me on the fitting rack to ensure everything was properly positioned. A couple of quick, expert tweaks later, I and my nearly 20 year old bike were back on the road running better than we had in a long time.

I crossed over Waters while vehicles were stopped in line to cross Eisenhower after the light turned green. Well a frantic lady in a Honda Accord went in to the oncoming lane racing to catch a green left turn on to Eisenhower light and suddenly BAM! I am now sitting on her roof with my feet still locked to my pedals and my Cannondale Road Bike up there with me. As I stared at my bent front forks and front wheel laying 50 feet in front of me with two VHS Tapes strawn on the road as well, I hopped off the ladies roof and she was very upset that she'd hit me. I assured her that I was fine but the Bicycle Shop I bought my bike from was just down the road. So she and I put all my stuff in her Accord, dropped the VHS's off and drove to Star. The Staff added a bit of pain and suffering to the quote, the lady paid the bill and I came out with one or two items extra once the repairs were done. I'll never buy from anyone else and I'm now a 61 year old man and this story occurred in 1987.

Unfortunately the Asian lady owner told him to get out. He came out, and told us he was told to get out. Soon after, she came out yelling at everyone "Get out of my doorway! I have a business to run, too!" So I went in, and the first thing she said was "What do you want?!" I told her that my nephew went inside to actually look at bikes. She said "no! You are blocking my shop!" It's too bad that she was so rude because we were actually thinking about renting bikes from her shop. She's an embarrassment to my Asian people. No wonder this country still looks at us as foreigners.

I was looking for a new mountain bike and settled on three brands: Specialized, Santa Cruz, and…read moreRocky Mountain Bikes. The latter one is not carried by any bike shop in Savannah as far as I know, so it came to the former two. And I wanted very much to see the bike and ride the bike, I didn't want to have something ordered in sight-unseen. Alas, these days, like many types of retailers bike shops carry less in-store inventory and in Savannah there seems little demand for higher-end bikes. That said, I called up Quality Bikes and asked what in my price range and meeting my demands they might have in stock and they had two Santa Cruz models that interested me. A friend and I drove out, I looked at and test rode the bikes, and decided on the Santa Cruz Chameleon-Carbon. Awesome, awesome, bike! Issac, the salesman who helped me, despite still being in high school really knows mountain bikes and has a winning way about him. Great attitude and very helpful, no pressure and very honest. Indeed, everyone at the shop was awesome, but especially Issac. I bought the Chameleon and they tuned it up and got it ready for me--clearly no hurry, they knew they had the sale already but they took appropriate time to do everything perfectly. I would earnestly recommend this store to anyone needing a bike, especially a higher-end one and especially a mountain bike. They clearly know what's what and have a great attitude and approach with customers. And I'm very happy with my Santa Cruz Chameleon!

This place was the closest option and was even walkable from our hotel, which made it super convenient. I originally wanted to rent a regular bike without any power assistance, but apparently my only option was an electric bike. I was definitely uncomfortable at first since it was my first time riding one, but after a little while I got the hang of it and honestly would recommend giving it a chance. The pedal assist ended up making the rides a lot more enjoyable, especially in the heat. We ended up riding close to 30 miles over two days and got to see so much more of the island than we would have if we had just driven everywhere. We were told the bikes could even glide across the sandy beach if we wanted to try that, but the sun was just too intense for us to attempt it. We rented the bikes for 24 hours, and the total came out to over $100. The bikes themselves had a range of around 50 miles, which was more than enough for exploring.
