I had to go back there a a few days later seems the pool water reacted to a chemical I was advised to use. The young man not sure of his name was talking to a customer when I walked in The employee (young man with brown collar length, acting like he was on the spectrum) was talking very loudly and compared the customers pool water to swamp water. The employee was loud and said some other embarrassing things about the state of the man's pool. The man cut the employee off and promptly left the store. Then the employee turned to me and said. "How can I help you honey"?. When I explained the situation with the pool water reaction, the employee looked in the bucket of the sample of white clumps that formed in our skimmer and said it was a calcium buildup. After going back and forth, the employee still talking loudly and very animated started talking about how dirty the water in our pool is. IMPOSSIBLE I stated. The water is crystal clear. Rory the first employee I encountered never said any of the stuff the younger employee was stating. Bottom line is I may need to clean the pool filter. The employee was very condescending and arrogant. I told the employee he was rude and asked when Mr Rory would be at work. I don't think I will be using Leslie's Pools any more. Not a good experience.

Told me to bring in my water sample right from the hose since I was getting ready to flush and refill to try again. The next day I brought in a sample and he and Molly got me tested, lined up with some new chemicals with specific instructions and even some scented salts which I'm stoked to use soon! Molly even gave me a hot tip to buy a sump pump to help with draining the tub faster so I picked one up on the way home and that was the best tip ever!!

The store has a huge variety of items from household goods to books, snacks, and random finds you wouldn't expect. It definitely feels like one of those places where you have to take your time and dig a little to find the best deals. My original plan was to look at their book selection but when I walked in I decide to do a full lap around the entire store. Ollie's is pretty large, think mini warehouse. It reminds me of Big Lots but more organized and on a bigger scale. Home goods, decor, books, beauty products and food. You can find plenty of deals here. I only purchased a few word search books as their overall book selection was not impressive. There were 2 cashiers working and they moved very quickly. The lady that checked me out greeted me as I walked up and even gave me the price of an item that didn't have a sticker to make sure I was willing to pay that amount. Overall, Ollie's seems like a good place if you're into bargain shopping. I would definitely come back for their decor and home goods. Hopefully in the future their book selection gets a little better.
