Great service, very prompt responses to emails. We did the electric bikes for a day $60 each. This was a great choice because it allows you to sort of keep up with the flow of traffic and you also don't have a pedal so much lol. It was so fun! They give you a bike lock and paper map with suggested places to visit or you can do the guided tour with one of their tour guides. I saw one in passing and it looked pretty fun. The bikes come with a little bag on the front to hold the lock and other small things. You also have the option to add a cell phone holder or basket to the bike, even a picnic add-on (basket, reusable wine glasses, blanket, & coupons). My wife and I have been to Savannah a few times, but it's one of the few cities we've been to where we haven't done a bike tour, so we both felt it was high time we did one on our fourth or fifth trip. The history bike tour with Savannah on Wheels is not a "highlights" tour where you see a dozen stops in lots of places for picture taking. Instead, it is a history tour, where you only stop in a few historic places while learning about the history of the city. The biggest differences between the two types of tours is that this one did not involve a lot of distance or a lot of exertion. Each stop lasted a good 15+ minutes while the guide gives you another portion of the history of the city. On the other hand, something like a highlights tour or a sights tour will involve 8, 10, 12 or more stops, a lot of distance, and only a few minutes at each location. We enjoy both types of tours, but in both cases you need good bikes and great tour guides. Savannah on Wheels has both. The bikes were in great shape. Comfortable and easy to use. Our tour guide was awesome. He seemed to know the history of the city back to front, which was especially impressive for someone who had only lived here a few years. Whereas I, who have lived in my city for 13 years, couldn't tell you a damn thing about the history of Saint Pete. We really enjoyed our few hours on this tour and would definitely do another tour of theirs if they offer it. read more

My family and I were in Savannah, GA while on vacation. We have been to Savannah before, but this time we wanted to explore Savannah by bike. A search online of different business that rented bikes directed us to Savannah of Wheels. I called the business and told them to reserve me two bikes that were setup to carry children. They told me not a problem. When we arrived, Mike assured us. He gave my wife a regular bike and gave me their Yuba bike that was designed to carry two children. Okay seriously... best experience ever!!! If you're in Savannah you have to rent bikes. It's so relaxing and the town is really beautiful. I felt like a kid again just cruising around on their very trendy and comfy bikes! The couple inside was very helpful and they were very kind to my friend and I. It was $20 for 4 or 5 hours which is pretty good (even cheaper than the city rental bikes). They don't rent bikes after a certain time (since the minimum is a 4 hr rental) so be sure to get there bright and early. I recommend going early so that there's less traffic and pedestrians to crash into... LOL The bikes were in great condition and we honestly could have rode the bikes all day long. Seriously don't even think twice about it, if the weathers looking promising then go rent some bikes and have a great day exploring Savannah! read more

From the moment I booked my bike (I rented it for a week) to the moment I picked it up, I received nothing but GREAT service and assistance. Not only did I fall in love with the bike provided to me as soon as I laid eyes on it; but David was more than helpful in ensuring that the seat and all the handling was up to my comfort level.
