We were really in the mood for some good Thai food and Black Thai Authentic Cuisine did not disappoint. I decided to get something different for me this time AND I am trying to stick with true Thai food. So, I ordered the crab fried rice that included the Thai style fried rice topped with fresh lump crab meat. It was so creamy and comforting. Absolutely a wonderful dish. We also ordered the outstanding Pad Kee-Mow with chicken and the fresh vegetable rolls with shrimp and super duper peanut sauce. Everything was so delicious. We ordered all of the food to go and everything stayed pretty fresh until we were ready to devour. The service was efficient and friendly. I hate leaving bad reviews, especially for a female-owned business, but this was honestly the worst restaurant meal I've ever had. I've spent over 7 months living in Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Bangkok, and I've never eaten anything this bad. All three of us gagged on the Singapore noodles, so we sent them back, assuming it was a bad batch, and ordered Pad Kee Mao instead. Then my Spicy Basil arrived, and it was so salty I could barely get through it. At that point we cancelled the Pad Kee Mao, since everything seemed to be going for overpowering flavors and we didn't expect it to be any better. We felt guilty sending back so much food, so we forced down what we could before giving up. We didn't pack anything to go when asked. We were also short on time, since we had to leave to catch a flight. The staff apologized throughout the meal. Afterward, I emailed the restaurant asking for a full refund, since none of the food was edible. They replied that they hadn't charged for the two dishes we sent back, which wasn't the issue. We were still charged for a meal none of us could eat. I ended up disputing the charge with my bank, which went through. You just really can't go wrong with this place. We came here again. It seems like they changed up the Beef Jerky recipe and I'm not mad at it at all! It was my fav last time and still my fav now. Thai ice coffee was tasty, pretty sweet and gave me chest hairs! If you need a serious pick me up, I highly recommend. We did the papaya salad Thai style, level 3 spice. It was pretty dang spicy and I like spice. I had to take a break but it was so flavorful I killed it. We also had combo shrimp and chicken pad Thai, it did not disappoint. I always enjoy a good Thai meal, so we decided to give this place a try. The first thing that stood out was how absolutely gorgeous the restaurant is. The décor is beautiful. The staff was also incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout our meal. We ordered some of our usual Thai favorites. While everything was good, I did feel like some of the dishes were missing the bold flavors I'm used to. The soup, in particular, wasn't quite what I expected, it tasted like the broth may have been boxed or just made very different. That said, the shrimp in the coconut was unique and absolutely delicious. A few of the other dishes were just okay. Even though the food wasn't quite as flavorful as we had hoped, the ambiance and excellent service made for an enjoyable dining experience. It may have just been an off day or simply not the style of Thai food we're used to. I still love the yen ta fo! The level 3 is plenty spicy for me where I was drinking water between bites (not that it helped). Service here is great! It's very clean and organized. There a full bar once you come in the entrance. Feels calm and peaceful like you're on vacation. Usually not too crowded during week, so eating in, the food comes out fresh really quick. The flavors are very tasty, I love my pad thai a bit more sweet and there authentic pad thai dish really hits the spot every time. I will say, I got the same dish doordashed a few weeks back, and the dish didn't have everything that was suppose to be included. Stopped by with a group of 4 adults and 1 kid and ordered a bunch of stuff to try family style. Curry puffs were flaky and excellent, though the pork skewers were kind of small and a little tough. Wrapper of the egg rolls was super crisp but the filling was just okay. Khao man gai was juicy and flavorful, pad kee mao had a great chew, crab fried rice was solid and came with a good portion of crab. The fried fish was just a little too crisp on the outside so it was a bit hard to chew through the skin, but the flavor was great. The green curry with beef was pretty good. The Radna needed more depth. It was missing the smoky flavor for the noodles. The fish was a disappointment. It was tiny and was served to us under cooked. When we brought it up to our server, looked at the fish and said that it was just the color of the fish (pinkish) . Huh? We said no, its pink & you can't get the meat off the bone because it was under cooked. I had to show her how we can't peel it off the bones. I wished they had given me a spoon, because of how good the dressing was. However they didn't inspect the lettuce & it had a bad spot. Pretty amazing authentic Thai cuisine at a reasonable price, which is right up my alley! The Thai food here is delicious, anything you order here is going to be great! Pad Thai, pad woo sen, fried chicken wings, papaya salad, beef salad, were all just like out of Thailand. Service her is pretty quick, and they do know their menu. I loved the crab rangoons and the curry puffs they were delicious. The sauces were typical and paired well with the curry puffs and the crab rangoons. This is the best Thai place you can get in all of DFW. Their sweet curry samosas were savory yet fragrant. (5/5) Mango Sweet Sticky Rice This is my favorite dessert and they did a really good job here. I had to stop myself from ordering another serving.. The sticky rice was still warm and the coconut sauce was not too sweet, plus a perfectly ripe sliced mango. I'd definitely come back here again to explore more of their menu. The staff has always been friendly and owners completely engaged and friendly. The food is always excellent and quality. The curry puffs are still my favorite out of any.
