The counter is covered in stickers from coffee spots all over, so you can tell this crew has been around and built real relationships along the way. They're sourcing from Intelligentsia, so the coffee itself is dialed in from the start. There's also a community board by the counter, full of local business cards and notices. It tells you this isn't just a coffee shop, it's a hub for the neighborhood. They even put out a newsletter to keep people plugged into what's happening around the shop.
