I was across the street at the little plant shop and I noticed a bunch of people walking around with cute pink boxes and a line at the corner so curiosity got the best of me and we walked over and found this beautiful bake shop. They have the most amazing ginormous Donut display so we just had to get one. We got a vanilla filled doughnut that was amazing and doughy and just everything you expected from it and after looking at their menu, they have really cool coffee selections and sourdough breakfast sandwich sandwiches so I can't wait to come back.

I've been dying to stop here on my way to NY and finally got the chance! The cinnamon roll was incredible and the cruffin blew my mind!

Chocolate Almond croissant was incredible , so rich and buttery! I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookie too , my only second time here but I am impressed. These girls work their asses off here with the huge selection of unique pastries and fresh bread , they deserve all the credit!

I downed an ENTIRE cream-filled doughnut. Came to know of this place through a Yelp friend and, enchanted by the name, I started following them on social and always kept in mind to go visit when I could. I don't live close by to it, so it takes some planning. They're known for their sourdough donuts so I had to have one, even though I'm lactose intolerant. Ordered the orange-pistachio cream doughnut on Ohhh my yumness -- it was SO good. Not really sweet/ definitely not overly sweet, which is so elegant. Not everyone gets the sugar balance on point but I'm a huge fan of their flavor balance. Could really taste the orange OR pistachio, maybe a hint of the pistachio, but no complaints at all. Every bite was really very enjoyable What WERE super duper sweet though were the staff :). Also no complaints there :) The coffee was also really good, too! You know how sometimes a bakery can be really good at some items but their beverages leave much to be desired? Not the case here. Space is cute and small but not small? There is a small dining room in the back. The decor is also "just right" whimsical.

We showed up before opening with half a dozen people already waiting. All of the choices were good. Here's my ranking. 6.) Chocolate babka 5.) Biscotti 4.) Apple fritter 3.) Salted maple pecan Cinnie 2.) Cinnamon vanilla crueller 1.) Chocolate almond croissant I'm going to skip the sourdough loaf next time. There are about a dozen seats inside. We were lucky to grab a table.

Place had seating outside as well as inside. Didn't see a parking lot. The service was great, very friendly staff. I appreciate that they had in display their bake goods so you at least know how the food looks. Had the strawberry burnt honey almond scone which was delicious! Also had a BEC pastry and it was good, would like it better if there was more bacon. The iced latte with brown sugar syrup was ok it wasn't sweet at all which made me think that they forgot to add the brown sugar syrup. We also had a raspberry tea and it was not sweet at all so if you like raspberry tea without sweetness this is for you. The bright side there's sugar and cinnamon to help yourself. The ambiance was like cool dark vibes which made it unique and I also loved the decor. Price overall for the two pastries and two drinks was about $24. Keep in mind if you use a credit card there is a 3% surcharge.

Officially my new favorite go to bakery and coffee spot! Located in Ridgewood closer to the train station I find parking on this side of town is always fed easier. Inside is well decorated with ample tables and indoor seating should you choose to stay. Definitely more of a layout for ordering to go. I ended up ordering almost one of everything from their menu. Their matcha with strawberry jam is a must try as it is both delicious and refreshing and not too sweet at all. I love their oversized cinnies! Delicious and so quickly eaten it did not make a photo. Everything truly is made with love and clean ingredients here and you are able to taste the difference. Service is friendly and efficient. When I went on a Saturday afternoon it was busy but the line moves very quick.

Everything is soooo delish. Deserves all the hype it gets. Their cinnamon rolls are a must try.

This was my second time visiting and I got to say this is a great little gem on the west side. It has plenty of street parking and the lines aren't bad during the week. They're known for a funky rotating specials menu, danishes and sweet and savory combos staple items. I had the coconut cream cruffin and the mocha latte- everything was very delicious. My only feedback is the coffee menu seems a little limited and I do think the prices are little high for a latte and muffin - it was $15 before tip. It doesn't seem realistic for a regular person to make this an everyday stop but weekly/bi-weekly could be done!

On a rainy Sunday morning this was such a pleasant sweet treat! The coffee here was just average. I ordered a vanilla oatmilk latte and at 1pm it was a tad bitter but the pistachio filled donut was the star of the show. My son had a chocolate chip cookie that he devoured in a few seconds. My only other complaint is that the garbage cans were overflowing. They must have had a morning rush but when we arrived there was enough of a break to address the lobby garbage cans being filled

Yummmm! I stopped in one afternoon in search of the double chocolate muffin (pictured). I keep seeing it on their Instagram - it was delectable! I also got the Pumpkin Cinnie which was a pumpkin Cinnabon and that ended up being my favorite. I also got the butternut squash focaccia bread and the espresso glaze donut.

Finally made it to Black Magic after following them on Instagram and constantly drooling over their selection. Their doughnuts are made fresh and selection is updated often using fresh and in season ingredients. The doughnuts are big and delicious. I learned some flavors can sell out as they are made daily. They also serve sandwiches on house made breads, coffees, and other pastries. I love that they have a cute sitting area and sell some cute merchandise like tshirts and coffee.

Pumpkin Crème Brûlée

Have wanted to visit this new spot for the longest time and I managed to go before their closing/sold out! Definitely more quiet than other cafes in Ridgewood but I really enjoyed their interior and seating - more cozy and calming. Their donuts seem a little cakier than my preference but all the flavors looked delicious - there's definitely more pastries and donuts I want to try next time!

We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not too busy at all. It was my first time visiting and they had a big space with some tables and seats. They had a menu of different coffees and of course the matcha. They also had a ceremonial matcha option for an additional charge. I had ordered the matcha latte and was able to change the mildly option to oat. We also wanted to try the matcha cookie. Our order was made fresh and picked up at the end of the counter. You can really taste the matcha flavor and not overpowered by the oat milk. Overall a good matcha-- they also had additional flavors options that can be added like strawberry. I will definitely be back to try their coffees!

The matcha einspanner caught my eye, but unfortunately the flavors fell short for me. The barista making my drink appeared to be newer (another barista ended up taking over to finish the drink), and the drink itself tasted overly milky with not enough matcha flavor. Maybe it was the whipped cream, but it felt diluted overall. On the other hand, my husband's New Orleans iced coffee was good, and my friends enjoyed their other coffee drinks as well. Next time, I'll skip the matcha and just stick with coffee.

They were absolutely the sweetest people. Very patient and attentive. The baklava and kadayif were both freshly made. We were offered seating, and the food was delivered to us with Turkish tea given as a compliment. Music played in the background, which wasn't overpowering. My friend noticed that the songs were covers of popular hits in a different language (I think Turkish?), although I can't confirm this. Would be five stars, but the food is a bit pricey, and the kadayif's syrup aspect was sweeter than my personal tastes. Still warm and delicious though.

The staff looked us up and down and immediately told us there was a problem because the kitchen was not working and no food could be prepared. We noticed that coffee and pastries were still being served, so we asked if we could at least order those. The answer was yes, but no one offered to seat us or explain the situation further. We ordered coffee and a spinach feta pastry, which was served cold and tasted stale. Considering we were charged $12 per pastry, the quality was extremely disappointing. The most frustrating part was what happened next. About 10 minutes after we sat outside, another family was seated nearby and was served food from the kitchen without any issue. If the kitchen had become operational again, no one informed us or asked whether we would like to order anything else. Instead, staff repeatedly came to our table with the bill, even bringing the wrong bill the first time, making us feel rushed and unwelcome. The café was nearly empty, yet we received some of the poorest service I've experienced in New York or New Jersey. I still don't understand why we were treated differently, but the combination of poor communication, unfriendly service, and overpriced food made for a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, I would not return and would not recommend this café to others.

A Hidden Gem You Can't Miss!…read more I stumbled upon this adorable local café by accident, and I'm so glad I did. It's a truly special spot that feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the usual chain coffee shops. The coffee is outstanding. Their cortado and flat white are perfectly crafted and some of the best I've had. We also tried the cold matcha with a squirt of strawberry syrup, which was absolutely delicious a perfect refreshing treat. The pastries are a highlight too; they are homemade and baked fresh on a "need-to-basis," so you know everything is made with care and never sits around. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It is incredibly dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us since we brought our furbaby along. He absolutely loved his "pupachino"! We were lucky enough to enjoy the beautiful weather on their outside seating area, which added to the lovely vibe. We even got to meet the owner, who was kind, warm, and welcoming, and the staff is equally friendly. It's rare to find a place with such genuine hospitality. Definitely make this your go-to spot before heading to Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts. You won't regret supporting this wonderful local business!

Their pastries were very photogenic but also pricey for the size (hence the trendy nature). There are many small tables and then a few large or medium ones.
