We chose Mean Green because we thought they knew what they were doing. I had done my research and requested that the mowing team cut my grass as LOW as possible and place some weed killer on the grass. When they said that they cut the grass low and applied emergent (some kind of long-term weed killer), a few days later, the grass was almost like a forest and the weeds came back with a vengeance. What an absolute rip-off!!! We fired them the following day, but changed our mind, but they did not want to come back and fix it. We contacted another lawn care company, but that did not work out either. We had no choice but to buy our own lawnmower, weed wacker, liquid weed killer, and blower. And just like we thought, we sprayed the grass with the over-the-counter weed killer and mowed the lawn really, really low. After a few days, the weeds were gone, and the grass did not grow back fast. Buying the lawn mower and lawn equipment was the best decision we made, because we are in control of our grass now. Wade at Mean Green is all about profits and not the customer's needs. The want to see how far they can bilk you of your hard-earned money before you realize that the quality of service is SH****. Mean Green takes care of residential mowing. They have completed a tree removal job for me. Their sister company, Magnolia Fence & Patio, built our 8' Cedar Fence, which is board-on-board and capped & trimmed. They later stained the fence and did an excellent job on that, too. They built our deck, which is 32'x16'. I am very pleased with their work and the quality of service their employees provide. read more

If you have a project that is more than just mowing your lawn don't use these guys! Michael quoted me $5400 to complete the landscape around my pool. We walked in detail of what I expected and he provided me the time of completion. They filled the flower beds with the added rock I approved and did not lay any landscape fabric. Then they sent me a bill for $4500 in rock when they told me in writing that the rock was $1500. They gave me accuse that they installed the wrong rock. How is this my issue? The grass that they installed died in larger areas; the tree in the front yard fell over. The grass around the pool is not level as we discussed (that is where the furniture was to sit) The grass on the other side of the pool was never rolled correctly so now you need an off-road lawnmower to mow. I have filled a complete with the BB about this company and highly recommend that you stay clear of either of there companies read more

Mean Green is our lawn service and we love their service. They always arrive on our scheduled day and the yard always looks great when they finish. I have always mowed my own lawn but rarely trimmed/edged the yard and never used a blower to clean up when finished. My wife is so happy with this service that she loaned my mower to our daughter. 5 Stars read more
