The work was good but I had to remind him of what we agreed on a few times when he tried to take shortcuts. The 4 days messed with my work schedule and stressed me out. He offered to do a free mow for the inconvenience. I texted him 4x over 4 days and never heard from him. He pulled out a plant and laid weed paper down but now the plant is already growing back. He has ghosted me! I know less than perfect reviews don't help small businesses but I have to agree with some of what the 1 star reviews says. I hope this review will help the company to grow and be better next time doing what they say they will do.

NewVision has done everything from tree removal (on a giant, dead tree close to the house), to tree-trimming on mature/overgrown trees (that had taken over the whole yard, and grown to the neighbor's roofline), to shrub and weed removal, to re-doing landscaping beds, to planting new shrubs and flowers. The first time I contacted them for an estimate, they were out at my property in 10 minutes; gave me an immediate bid; and then did the job immediately after that. They're always a delight to work with, and positive, professional and reliable. I look forward to my next job with NewVision!

Three of My Trees Needed a Pro. Better Call Sal!…read more A very Large Cedar tree did not make it through the winter. I think it was about 30 feet high. And I had a 20 foot tall Pecan tree that died also. When Sal's crew arrived, they informed me I also had one more dead Pecan tree. The trees were a bit crowded, so when the men finished thinning out, the overall effect was very pleasing to the eye. And the crew ground the stumps down, filled the holes and cleaned everything up. It is hard to tell Sal's crew were ever there bringing down those tall trees and reducing it all to mulch. When the crew found the third dead tree (a Pecan) they quickly estimated a price, but it was over my budget, so I told them "next time". Sal's guy agreed to knock off $200, and get it all done so this job would look great, and the problem was off my list. I was not angling for a discount but it made it worthwhile to squirm for the extra. And I realized they were so right when I saw the finished result looked just beautiful with all the trees attended to. Sal, I am glad your guys can "think of Their Feet". They really stand back and get the big picture when they plan their work. This is my third service from this company. And I could not be happier.

I specifically requested the use of a sod cutter and commercial grade landscape fabric. The landscape fabric began ripping and pulling out within hours. They assured me they could remove the sod and would also spray the remaining roots so it would not return. I reached out about the poor landscape fabric within 24 hours. 9 days later when boulders were placed it was apparent that in most areas the sod was not removed at all. They did not spray the grass deterrent. When I spoke to them 9 days later they made many excuses for the poor quality of work, and blocked me on their contact number and all accounts. Not only did they do a terrible job, but they also overcharged for their so-called "services." What's worse, they took credit for work they didn't even do work that was completed by someone else entirely. This is not just unprofessional it's downright shady. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Avoid them at all costs.
