He pointed out a couple of invasive trees in my yard that needed to be removed right away, which I wouldn't have caught on my own (mulberry and chinaberry trees). We walked the property together, talked through what needed trimming or cleanup, and he gave me a quote on the spot, then followed up with it by email. Once I approved everything, they came out on April 6th and got right to work. Darrell and his team were incredibly efficient. They handled everything we discussed in just over an hour, which honestly surprised me. On top of that, they even replanted a plant I wanted to keep into a large outdoor vase that had a dead plant inside of it. They cleaned up all the debris and left the yard looking fresh and well cared for. The pricing was very fair, and there were no surprises. Right before they wrapped up, I asked if they could also remove a tree that had recently damaged a retaining wall near my front porch. Darrell took care of it quickly and charged a very reasonable additional price. Payment was easy through Zelle, which made the whole process even smoother. If my yard ever gets out of hand again, I won't hesitate to call Mercer. I'm very happy with the work they did.

I specifically requested the use of a sod cutter and commercial grade landscape fabric. The landscape fabric began ripping and pulling out within hours. Some portions were layered with multiple scraps. They removed dead grass and some dirt with a combination of shovels and a tiller I provided. They did not have the right tools or materials. They assured me they could remove the sod and would also spray the remaining roots so it would not return. I reached out about the poor landscape fabric within 24 hours. 9 days later when boulders were placed it was apparent that in most areas the sod was not removed at all. They did not spray the grass deterrent. When I spoke to them 9 days later they made many excuses for the poor quality of work, and blocked me on their contact number and all accounts. Pictures taken day 1 and day 9 after work was "done." $1700+ for the work and materials...

They also added new mulch to the entire front yard, and what was fantastic is they picked up and transported the mulch! Three to four guys worked for 3 hours to complete the work, all for an Incredibly fair price and value. I received another quote that was nearly FOUR times what Tulum did the work for!
