Nice spot full of succulents and cacti. This seems to be their specialty. It is all packed…read moreinto a small area, so there is some jungle roaming discovery to do in this area, as you have to trudge through some thick areas with very small trails to find some of the items your looking for. Staff is super nice and helpful. We've been here a few times, always looking for more Desert Rose plants, this trip they had a lot, some blooming, but the cost has gotten crazy. Inside the main building they sale a lot of Mexican style pots and tiles and other lawn deco. All are very bright and vibrant colored.

This is a huge nursery. They sell a lot of plants but also they have so many pots and Mexican…read morepotteries. I do think those potteries are overpriced but I enjoyed looking around the store. I went there to look for marigolds for Día de muertos. I knew it was the end of the season for the flower here but was hoping they would have some left. I looked around but couldn't find so I asked the lady there if they had one by chance. The lady didn't even look at me and just said "we don't have it if you don't see it"... I mean, I am asking because I see too many plants and maybe I am not looking the right section ? What kind of customer service is that? I left quickly after. There is another big nursery just down the street and there everyone was so nice and I felt more welcoming. And I was able to find the flower there!

I searched for native landscape architect to design and implement a high end landscape at my home…read morein Historic McKinney and after a number of weeks settled upon Texas Nativescapes. I was immediately impressed by Paul's depth of knowledge and unique experience related to native design which set him apart from the rest of the field in North Texas. Fast forward 10 months and two extensive design implementations later (front and back yards) I couldn't be happier with the results. The results are two of the most uniquely designed & implemented yards in all of DFW. The backyard is completely native southwestern landscaping with rock, cactus and agaves imported from all over Texas, Arizona, and California. In contrast the front is classic southern with original elements picked up in New Orleans and Savannah. In the end the pictures, which I have posted here, speak for themselves. If you are looking for someone to develop and implement a totally unique high end design Paul is your best option in North Texas hands down. His design acumen puts him in a category all his own in North Texas and on par with the best native landscape architects from across the country including places such as Palm Springs, CA and Austin, TX.
