Cute coffee stand with a garden courtyard. Interesting artisanal coffee options. Vanilla date latte - coffee wasn't too strong, but I liked the subtle sweetness of the date.

I had high hopes for this café, but I wasn't quite blown out of the water. The good: the seating area is gorgeous and tranquil, and the baristas were quick and friendly! I thought prices were a little steep ($4.50 for an espresso, 6.50 for a latte) but no more so than any midtown spot. The bad: the coffee wasn't great. My cortado was lukewarm and a little sour (could just be me preferring a darker roast). I'd go back to give this another try, but I wouldn't say it's worth going out of your way for... not usually a great sign when your environment outshines your product.

Great outdoor-ish spot to grab coffee and yap. Lots of seating options and love how it's a covered space, so you can enjoy the "outdoorsy" aspect without having to worry about the elements. Service was fast and friendly. - Butterscotch latte: 8.5/10 (subtle butterscotch taste without it being too heavy. Not too sweet, just the way I like it)

The coffee house is more or less 3 blocks from where I work, so I enjoy coming to the garden to sit and do some work from time to time if the weather is not too humid in the summer. It is an outside spot to which you can bring and eat your lunch at, work, meet for dates or just sit and people watch. That day I had the Honey Blossom Latte - one of Black Fox's seasonal drinks. It was okay. I usually have a matcha. Neither drink is revolutionary in taste. Average Manhattan coffee prices. The staff is pleasant, but by 2pm looks like what anyone would look like fake smiling and taking bullshit from the midtown crowd for hours. I would come back. I always do. I love the mini oasis that small area is and the fact I can grab a last minute coffee while working is always nice. Also, I am not sure if it is theirs or the park's, but there are nice and free bathrooms. That alone is a huge plus of coming there if you're intending to stay for longer than an hour or so.

This Black Fox Coffee location is architecturally magnetizing! This business is kiosk box serving a small variety of pasties and selection of beverages. Located at The 550 Garden providing some shelter from rain or snow to still enjoy the outdoors on colder weather. The service was decent though feeling more transactional. There are plenty of customers, enough to form a 3-4 person line at any given time. Scan the QR code and favorite it if this is your go-to location to reduce wait times. The turn around time wasn't all too long though leaves no room for opportunity to get to know the barista and the business a little bit more. The milk options were O for oat milk, HH for half and half, and Whole Milk, unabbreviated; all setup on the counter and served yourself. There's nothing like getting a latte with a bit of art even if it's the most common one.

    S'mores Latte

Tried the s'mores latte and the tahini chocolate chip cookie, and let me tell you it was a 10/10! Great pick me up in the afternoon, and friendly staff.

This cafe serves Australian-style coffee. I came here with the coffee meetup group. The barista gave us three types of coffee to taste. One bag of beans was from Guatemala. Another one was from Ethiopia. I like a lighter body coffee hence I like the beans from Guatemala. I can't really give a review about the service. The organizer was the only one who interacted with the barista. I like the space. It is outdoor; however there is a glass roof. They have a lot of seats. I would come back to try flavored drinks.

This spot is a midtown blessing and offers a surprisingly delicious coffee and a large outdoor space for you to get your work done, catch up with a coworker friend or just enjoy the weather. As per their website their espresso is supposed to have Nots of honey, toffee and red apple. I do kind of got that, however I did add butterscotch syrup as well for my cappuccino. Tonight they have other interesting flavors such as vanilla date syrup, a sesame chai latte and a malted hot chocolate. BUTTERSCOTCH CAPPUCCINO I quite enjoyed this and liked it more than I was expecting. The drink was crafted well, and the milk was frothed evenly and smoothly and the entire experience was a seamless coffee drink with bold espresso and a beautiful foam.

I know there are a few black fox's in Manhattan. This one is a order from a window one. There is no indoor seating though there are tables and chairs and seating areas under this big roof but in chilly days you can definitely feel it. I didn't know what to expect and had no idea it as a go up to a window and order type place. I got a cappuccino and it was ok a little bitter to me. I won't be rushing back to this location. For such a small drink with tip it was like 7 bucks. Service was fine there was no line.

Vanilla date latte and vanilla date matcha

We were met with extremely kind baristas who were happy to help and eager to serve. The location is gorgeous and there is plenty of seating and greenery. The coffee was just sweet enough for me but if you seek something sweeter they have syrup and raw sugar to add, the match had a beautiful green color and wasn't overly sweet or watered down. I'd highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a drink in this beautiful location!

The regular and matcha have both been good in my experience. I don't like chocolate cake, so I haven't tried that variety. I wish the pumpkin was available in the smaller size too! I've tried their boba, and it isn't good. The hot teas are okay but not great. They're pretty much just syrup and milk. I would avoid the drinks and just get the desserts! I haven't personally tried the bingsoo, but I've heard good things. The waffle is alright--all in all, come here to recharge and for the basque cheesecake!

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
