Cool bbq spot with a nice outdoor picnic table seating amongst the tiger lilies, with the smokers wafting the aroma of the meats of your selection. Love the sides. Love the variety of smoked meats and sides. A fun spring, summer or fall spot. Great friendly service. Highly recommend it.

I absolutely love snowboarding and my girlfriend got interested in skiing recently, the fire I decided it would be great for us to take a Valentine's Day weekend trip to VT. We ended up staying at a house not too far from Stowe mountain and all the locals recommended Black Diamond BBQ. We got so many recommendations we couldn't pass up the opportunity. After arriving at the house and having some drinks we decided to walk over to the restaurant and it was pretty busy. Looked like almost all the tables were full but we ended up getting one. The venue isn't the largest since it takes place in an older home but it has a great vibe to it. I ended up ordering the pulled pork sandwich with some extra vegetables on it and I absolutely loved it. I loved it so much it didn't even last five minutes. My girlfriend got the vegan sandwich and I really enjoyed the bite I took out of it as well. Since both things we ordered off the menu was really good, I don't see why everything else wouldn't be. We are also big craft beer drinkers and their IPA's and other brews were excellent. I have to say, if you're anywhere in the area even if this spot is out of the way, it's worth the trip.

Passing through we discovered Black Diamond and decided we had to try it. We love BBQ but being from NC we weren't sure how we would like New England bbq. The atmosphere is small town pub and very loud!! All tables were full and our food took awhile to arrive. I ordered the smoked turkey. It was several thick slices with their sauce poured over top. The turkey had a good crust and noticeable smoke flavor. The sauce was tangy and I liked it but I prefer turkey without sauce. My husbands pulled pork sandwich was good and the same sauce was even better on the pork. My daughter had the smoked wings with no sauce or rub. They are smoked and then deep fried so very crunchy. I think they would have been much better with the dry rub or sauce on them. This place is worth trying and we would definitely return on another trip to the area.

    Happy crowd at the bar...

Food and service is always great and the drink variety is awesome. Our go to menu items are the dry rub wings and the turkey.

BBQ isn't bad . Sides suck and it's way over priced. Also you can't get FF without gravy on them.

Food is great, ironically best veggie burger I've ever had. Cornbread is phenomenal. Meat is obviously great. Nice sitting outside.

Workers were very friendly and welcoming inside. The inside had some bar seating and some table seating with someone playing piano. The menu has a variety of different sandwiches. I started with a hot chocolate and the elote dip. Hot chocolate was nothing special but was good on a cold day. The elote dip was delicious! Warm and cheesy! Yum! I then ordered the falafel pita. It wasn't my favorite. The falafel was crisp but I didn't love the homemade gluten free pita. It was not fluffy and was just kinda bland. The fries were made well! Thick and very crispy. Overall the atmosphere was nice.

So while on a trip and looking for a spot to grab some lunch naturally we ended up picking this spot. I've been aware of Lost Nation Brewing but it's been since 2016/2017 when I had a beer from them last. To start they have ample parking and have a nicely painted mural on the side of their building. They have an indoor section we did not check that out and instead sat at the bar in the outdoor section. How can you pass up looking into the kitchen and also the wafting scents of burgers, fries and everything else being cooked. Despite a chillier day than most we have had lately it was worth it! Besides their own brews they had guest taps, guest botttles/cans, and even some cocktails including some spiked apple cider for that fall feeling drink. For beer fans they even had a rotating Hillfarmstead DIPA for a guest tap. I ended up getting their Kolsch and my wife got their gose. Both very solid beers and worth grabbing. Food wise they had a couple burgers, fried chicken sandwich, pulled pork, turkey sandwich, hot dogs, and some small plates. My wife ended up choosing the burger and I got their fried chicken sandwich. She enjoyed the burger and thought it was cooked very well. The chicken sandwich was delicious, the fact it was smothered in honey did make it a bit messy to eat but tasted so good! The fries we got were massive and well seasoned and the side of pickles were great too. Would be a no brainer to get either one again if we visit again! Bartender was friendly and we didn't wait long at all for the drinks or food! Well made brews paired along side delicious food, really what more could you ask for? If you visit during warmer weather it appeared they have a huge outdoor area further back than we were in as well! If you like visiting breweries add this to your list to check out!

We thought they'd be closed when we were staying, but we were happily wrong, so we had the pleasure of eating some great food for dinner. Plus, as a hotel guest, they gave us a coupon for a free appetizer, which we used and enjoyed !! For the appetizer, we chose (and shared) the pan-seared crab cakes that came with charred corn succotash, sliced apple and fennel micro salad, cara cara orange and basil aioli. It was delicious. For our entrees, my husband chose the Citrus Brined Grilled Pork Porterhouse, which included smoked gouda polenta, chipotle, crispy artichokes, charred scallion & toasted pepitas salsa verde. I ordered the Roasted Statler Chicken, which came with Saffron risotto, romesco, charred broccolini, and lined with a slight amount of chili oil. We also ordered a side of mashed potatoes infused with Cabot Creamery cheddar cheese, as well as some broccolini. All our food was delicious, especially those cheesy mashed potatoes, but unfortunately, we couldn't eat all our food, and nor could we save it. Boo-hoo. We both would've had enough left over for a second meal. Easily. I hate wasting food. There was no way we had room for dessert, so our meal ended with very full tummies and the enjoyment of well prepared entrees. There is a bit of historic significance to this restaurant. There is a reason it's called Grant's. The wrap around wooden bar top supposedly was restored from Harlem, New York where President Ulysses S. Grant MAY HAVE sat, drank and possibly smoked cigars. There are still old cigar burns left in the wood ! Regardless if it's legend or fact, it's a beautiful bar sitting in this fine restaurant. Go find out for yourself !

Ten Bends Beer is a craft brewery in Hyde Park, Vermont that produces small-batch ales and lagers. The brewery's name comes from a neighborhood in Hyde Park and the Lamoille River, which bends ten times between Morrisville and Johnson, Vermont. Ten Bends Beer's beers are inspired by the region and are made with creative experimentation and perseverance. I enjoyed a flight while here: Refractives White Grape: A Kettle Sour Beer with nice notes of Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Tartness isn't too high, which allows some of the aromatic and subtlety of the grape to come through. Cream Puff War Peach: A Double IPA that is brewed with honey malt and lactose, fermented with Peach Puree, and then Double Dry Hopped. The lactose gives it a fuller mouthfeel and pulls out the orange julius, dare I say, peach julius, vibes of the beer. Not too sweet, but definitely on the sweeter side. Green Fountains: A Hazy IPA hopped with Cascade, Mosaic, and Strata. I get strong notes of citrus and pine, finishing with dank overripe pineapple. Dark Daze: An Imperial Stout aged in Whiskey Barrels. Lower in viscosity than a lot of barrel aged stouts nowadays, but beautiful dark cacao, espresso, and fig notes rounded out by vanilla and oak. ______________
