We have never been here before. The food did not disappoint! Casual atmosphere. Small space, so not a place for large parties. Well run and efficient service and the staff is hardworking and friendly. I had the Philly 2.0 and my husband had the OMG Philly. Both were delicious.

The sandwiches here are elite. Staff super friendly. Came from Pittsburgh on a food tour for the shrimp hibachi hamburger which was dynamite...perfectly seasoned and texture from the semi crunch vegetables. Snagged a happy hour $9 fried chicken sandwich as well which on its own would be stellar...but the seasoning of the hibachi burger next to it wins

My wife and I ate here yesterday. They have a unique menu of items with interesting combinations. The staff was great and always asking if we were good and how we liked our meal. You put your order in and will wait at a table. Food is made fresh, looks and smells amazing. I got the famous philly sandwich and my wife got the burger. We also added sides of loaded fries and the penne pasta. My wife's burger was excellent and my favorite flavor of the items ordered. My Philly was really good. Pasta had a lot of good flavor and the loaded fries were good but the chicken and shrimp combo to top them just didn't mix the way I think they intended it to. Portion sizes were nice and we took leftovers with us. The reason I deducted a star was the excessive butter and grease on the food. It tastes great but doesn't sit well in your stomach. We will be back because they have a unique menu and I saw other items I want to try. We'll order different next time and cut portions down and maybe just get 1 sandwich each without a side. I do recommend them and we'll be back.

This is the happy hour specials, 12pm-4pm.

Okay so since I showed up early, I spoke with a employee about directions and location services, I actually drove around legacy village, it's not hard to find location services just gives you a parking lot as the location. Needless to say I found it, it was happy hour specials, so I got 2 sandwiches for the drive of one basically. The employee was very nice and so was the other employee. They have been there for 8years, I've tried to get to there spot for that long? Anyways I will be back, for the surf and turf Philly! I had a Po'Boy, beef, fries and slaw, man the slaw topping and that beef dog, really good, then I just got a steak Philly, lots of onions, but still very good, the sauce and cheese, very good. The inside is very clean and Nice tables to eat inside or out.

The OMG 2.0 Philly.....AMAZING! If you're in the area, this place is a MUST! LOVE IT!!......#BlackboxFix

The food is delicious. Hands down the best food I had during my Cleveland trip. I got the Big Back Seafood Combo with jumbo shrimp, shrimp Philly and the fish sandwich. A+++ and a terrific price. Food is cooked fresh so it takes a little while. I suggest ordering from home even if you want to dine in.

Food was really good, made fresh to order. Service was polite and patient, very knowledgeable and helpful with questions about the menu. I probably wouldn't not sit in to eat due to the small space and customer traffic. But it looked clean enough.

I visited Black Box Fix, hidden in Legacy Village, for Cleveland's Burger Week where I ordered to-go their burger special, the Railroader Burger as well as a side of lemon pepper fries. The staff was very friendly and efficient and the place was clean and sparsely decorated. The Railroader consists of a beef patty burger, topped smoked gouda, sautéed mushrooms, bacon jam, and herb mayonnaise on a brioche bun. The burger was medium rare, cooked to my specifications, and I really liked the combination of the gouda with the bacon jam. I asked for only a little mayo and jam to cut back on calories. I wanted to participate in Burger Week but I didn't want to pig out necessarily. The problem here was mostly with the HUGE amount butter added to everything! The bun was soggy from the butter, the fries were floppy and just drenched in butter. Despite my efforts, this meal felt very artery clogging. Everything had waaaay too much butter/oil. I'm sure this meal had the potential to be delicious but I didn't feel good afterwards. It hurts to give a small business anything less than 5 stars, but the meal was almost inedible. I hope they can make some changes because I would love to change my review to 5 stars next time I come back!

    OMG Philly

Truly a bright spot in Legacy. The young lady behind the counter did a great job describing the menu. We split two sandwiches and some fries. Delicious but messy. I'd migrate more towards cheese than cheese sauces next time. The only criticism is the roll. While soft, it can't hold up to the ingredients. I'd rather see a hard roll with a little more body.

This was out first time here. There was a short wait, about 40 min but since it was our first time we wanted to get a look at the menu and ask any questions. Next time we will order ahead and hopefully the wait will be shorter. Place was clean but we did notice that no one came out to wipe down tables after people left (at least 30 min after tables were vacated). The food was fantastic, we had wings and a Philly. It was worth the wait, hot fresh and had lots of flavor! Definitely will be returning soon!

They slice the meat for you right there and it was all super fresh. I got the #2 which had salami, prosciutto, and capicola with burrata and pickled hot peppers. The sandwich was good and tasted really fresh. I really enjoyed the burrata. I also did not miss the fact that there was no sauce or spread on it. I'm not a huge fan of crispy or hard bread, so I think I would have loved it even more if there was a soft bread option. I definitely look forward to returning though, maybe they do have another bread option available, I didn't ask. You can also customize the sandwich, so I would have added some arugula. The cookie was incredible!

They have lots of fresh beef cuts, as well as some prepared food options like chicken cutlets and pastas. All of which looked great and like the perfect option to grab on a late night when you don't fully feel like cooking but want a homemade made. They also have a pretty nice wine selection, some baked goods (mostly cookies), and a cooler full of homemade soups, marinades and sauces. That seemed like the coolest part to me. You could buy your meat there and even buy the marinade in case you wanted to coon the dish a little later. I got the Kytana sandwich, which has smoked there, bacon, avocado, Russian dressing and arugula on a brioche bun with caraway seeds. The flavor of the sandwich was pretty good, although the turkey did taste pretty salty. I know that can sometimes happen with smoked meats, but this felt like a lot to me. My friend got the bbq short rib sandwich which looked delicious. It was on a hoagie roll and had pickles, red onion and cheddar cheese. The bbq sauce was really light, kind of seemed like a bbq gravy, but it was really tasty. I also got a pumpkin snickerdoodle cookie which was tasty. Service was super friendly and comfortable. The docs is very clean and looked like it has a lot of high quality ingredients, etc. I'd definitely return to try another sandwich of something for their adjacent smoke shop. If I cooked more and lived nearby, I could see myself picking up a nice steak here to make at home.

The employee at the register was so patient, kind, and knowledgeable. I asked her many questions, and she had an answer for everything. The latte was the right level of sweetness and so smooth!! It is challenging to get quality vegan lattes and this one I would order again in a heartbeat. I enjoyed the Chipotle Turkey sandwich, my husband ordered the ham and cheese bagel sandwich on a French toast bagel (employee recommended combo), and my sister got the Fiona Hammich. Birch cafe makes their turkey and ham in-house and I was so excited to try their vegan meats. Of the sandwiches I was happiest with the Chipotle Turkey sandwich. The spicy mayo on it was delicious and it had avocado too! I thought the turkey was hearty, a good texture, and flavorful. It didn't remind me of turkey but I honestly like when vegan meat is clearly plant based. My husband's bagel sandwich was a wonderful breakfast treat. The bagel choice was fun as it added a sweetness to the savory meal which is a favorite flavor combination of mine. My sister LOVED her sandwich. For me I enjoyed the flavors in my turkey sandwich more, and she was fine not sharing more than one bite with me. We purchased a large chocolate chip cookie and a turkey meal to take home. The chocolate chip cookie was one of the best I ever had. It was soft and chewy. I would definitely stock up on those cookies next time I am visiting. The turkey meal was such a fun post-Thanksgiving Day treat. My family loved the carrots the most! They were in a creamy horseradish sauce. It was so unique we all could not stop talking about the flavors. Thanks, Birch Cafe, for an amazing experience. I will certainly be back next time I am visiting family.

The food had always been delicious until this last visit. Given we are regulars at the place, we know the quality of the food has been consistently fantastic and the wait for the food is typical - not too fast or slow - enough to prepare the meal given how busy the place has always been. This last time, however, it was a good 45 minutes before the order came to the table. Neither one of our meals was very good. I was very hypiglycemic by this point and so I ate the french toast that was completely uncooked inside. At first I wasn't thrilled that the bread was considerably smaller than it used to be until i bit into it to find cold wet mush. I should not have eaten it at all. My friend had ordered a patty melt - medium which should be light pink in the center. It was bloody red. She sent it back and about 20 min later it came back exavtly the same. She sent it back again. Another 20 minutes later it came back well done and with spices in the meat that made the meat taste lousy. So now she had a burger that wass over cooked and tasted bad. She didnt gat to eat because by that time we were done. I wish i had turned back the french toast. I kept hoping with every bite it might be cooked. Not one bite was cooked. Not even one. Being hypoglycemic I felt like I would lose my cool if I didnt eat something so I ate. It turns out the place had been bought and the new owner really didnt care. We got to talk to the brother of the new owner who only said that the place has been very busy and that should speak to the quality. He couldnt care less about our experience. All I have to say is that they are going to be losing a lot of money having to replace meals and once people find out about the sudden drop in quality of the food, those peeople that have been filling the place will not be returning as we wont be either. We refuse to go somewhere that the owners could care less about their patrons.
