Super cute ambience the waitress was amazing and had a wonderful time! Good food! And they have no problem correcting if it's not to your liking

Shall we gather, have good times, great conversations, and amazing eats! Who's hungry? I mean really who's hungry? Yes let's get excited! Especially here at Black Bear Diner. We are having some fun. The family and friends are around the table. Laughing and enjoying one another. Can you see your last get together? Put those laughs and joy together, now let's go! As you walk in the door you feel as if the outdoors is inside. That rustic smell of the woods. The freshness and sounds of the air outside makes one wonder. Just wonder because we live in the middle of the desert and they represent the outside world of wonderfully . The host will seat you at a table and leave you a menu. Looking at the menu is adventurous. Do you remember reading the paper this menu takes an individual back. So much detail of the food. What to order? Oh my, it all looks good ! This is the hardest part too. Be adventurous and order something out of your comfort zone because usually we are creatures of habit . Have something new? Within our comfort zones we are branching out. It's always usually a family affair we order and share among ourselves. We all can relate to one another and try something new . Mmmm, what's not to love here. If you have special dietary interests they offer many different options . While it's primarily a meat offering you can use vegetables for those that like other options for eating and their happy food times way of life . Can you handle this? The chicken fried steak? Wow it's delicious? It's severed with a "real" steak knife. Be careful and don't hurt yourself. Let's dig into this that steak and all that gravy. Oh my! If you have not tried it before it's amazing. They offer bottomless coffee and come around and keep you buzzing while you engage and enjoy yourselves. Now that our visit is coming to a close. They offer dessert, my favorite! Let's have that favorite here. The chocolate cream pie. Remember pie helps reset and keep one's mind, body, and soul reset and function together. It's truly epic. The world needs more times like these. These fun moments where we get together and celebrate life and love among one another. The food here and ambience is truly something . Come and enjoy yourself.

Came in for a company breakfast meeting, and overall this was a pretty middle-of-the-road experience for me. I ordered the Joe's Hobo Omelette, which is listed as smoked ham, link sausage, thick-cut bacon, jack cheese, cheddar cheese, spinach, and onion, and it was definitely filling. The omelette looked good, the cheese was melted, and the portions were solid, but flavor-wise it landed mediocre. Honestly, it was the first time in a long time I've had to reach for the salt and season my own food, it just didn't have that full, seasoned "diner breakfast" punch I expected. The fruit on the side was fresh and enjoyable, simple win, no complaints there. The biscuit was the biggest surprise, not in a great way. It was huge, but very dense and heavy. I put a little butter on it hoping it would soften up, but it still felt like a brick, more weight than fluff. Coffee was a mixed bag. I drink mine black, and Jenn kept it hot and kept checking my cup, which I genuinely appreciated. That said, the coffee itself tasted a little scorched, like it had been sitting on the warmer for a while. Small note, my fork was bent when I sat down, and it got replaced, not a huge deal, just a minor oversight. Service-wise, Jenn was great. Friendly, efficient, and on top of refills, especially with how busy it was. It did feel like the place runs on a fast, turn-and-burn rhythm, which makes sense for a chain breakfast spot. Atmosphere-wise, it wasn't really for me. The place was packed, and it felt pretty bland overall. I can see why people like it for convenience and big portions, but it's not somewhere I'd choose if I'm paying and picking the spot myself. If someone invited me again, I'd be open to trying a different menu item, but this visit didn't sell me on breakfast here.

Everybody loves Black Bear! Great American diner food. This location especially is always hot, fresh, and correct! Ordering delivery or going in the restaurant, they never disappoint! They will give you sauces as well (which a lot of places won't) such good choices! The service is great and you definitely won't leave here hungry!

I always get the blackbear bears choice breakfast which comes with your choice of eggs which I get scrambled, sausage, and I always get the sweet waffle. It looks small at first , but it is quite filling an hearty. There isn't much blackbear diner's around these days. I always try to call in my order or order ahead of time. They you have a wide variation of breakfast offerings.

    Jenn the best server around!

Visiting Vegas and didn't want to pay for overpriced mediocre breakfast. So Yelped to see what was around. To my surprise, one of our hometown favorites was near by! From the outside it didn't look very impressive, but stepping in it had that traditional Black Bear charm. Food was all delicious and our server Jenn was just the best! Everything was great!

Vegas is full of choices for diners if you can go off strip. Black bear diner is a good one. My waitress was super nice and was there with a coffee refill many times. Got the volcano, which has bacon sausage and eggs, and more pancakes that one should eat at a time. Also got a side of cheesy bacon grits. Everything was delicious. Grits could've been warmer and cheese, as a lot of the shredded cheese didn't melt. Except for that, I'd return. They have a massive menu that's in the form of a newspaper. Place has a heavy locals feel to it

praised your server, Luisa, for her attentive service, making your meal a great start to your Vegas trip.

I can't express how much I love Black Diner. I went to my first one back in 2017 during a family reunion in Oregon. 4 hours on the road again, this time to Vegas. As soon as we get checked in I searched YELP for nearby restaurants, it was fate. Delicious food as always. I always get the deluxe tri-tip sandwich. It comes out piping hot with warm fresh ciabatta bread, hot ooey gooey steak, cheese, grilled onions. Hot french fries and real ranch that doesn't move. You always see that watered down stuff everywhere else. Anyways, Luisa was a wonderful server, we never had to ask for anything. Extra napkins? It's like she knew me. Thank you for everything! Awesome start to our 4 day trip.

Update: The food was ample and delicious, as always. Unfortunately, it felt like we were eating inside of a refrigerator! They really need to quit with the 50° air conditioning inside the dining room! Our meals went from hot to cold in less than 5 minutes! Great service, great atmosphere. If not for the inside temperature, five stars!

Server: Flower Her name is Flower, and she was truly amazing! Always smiling, kind to our kids, and checked on us often while we ate. Her service was great, and she brought such warm, positive energy the whole time. Thank you, Flower, for making our meal even better!

Great food, great service, great space, every time! I usually order the Hobo omelette or the chicken fried steak and they never miss. Yesterday, I ordered the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and Mac & cheese. Mashed potatoes are so good! Meatloaf is good but I've had better. My partner ordered the salmon and it's pretty good and well seasoned! I'll upload an updated menu for anyone who wants to call in and order

Came here for breakfast on the recommendation of my MIL and it was only 5 mins away from our hotel. It was a weekday so there was no wait. The service was good. Our server accidentally charged us twice for a cup of coffee but was able to get it taken off & other than that she was great. The whole place is decked out in black bear decor, hence the name. Very cute, diner vibes. The food was just okay but the portions were huge. I shared the BIGFOOT Chicken Fried Steak & eggs with my mom and there was still enough leftover for at least 1 more person. For 6 people our bill was less than $100 so very affordable.

There was about a 10 minute wait to order, which we didn't mind given how crowded it was. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill when it was our turn. The staff member taking our order said, "do you know what you want?" in an unwelcoming tone. Even though, his tone turned me off, we still placed an order (...probably shouldn't have). We ordered the Freckled Redhead burger ($16) and the Chicken with Mac Waffle ($17). After ordering, we were given a number and waited outside. The food came out after about 20 minutes and we took it home to eat. A different staff member served our to-go order and she seemed nice. As much as we wanted to enjoy it, the food was just OK. The chicken was seasoned well but it seemed over fried, which made it dry. The waffle itself was decent but only had a small amount of mac and cheese inside. I had seen previous photos where mac and cheese was also served on the side, so that was disappointing. My boyfriend had the burger and said it was just OK as well...nothing special and not really worth the price. Overall, the staff member taking orders didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, and should probably take a break or work in the back. The food wasn't exciting like we hoped. We give it 2 stars. Even though we live nearby, we probably wouldn't return for the food. Maybe the coffee and drinks are better, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.

We always make a…read morestop in Vegas to stock up on groceries and grab brunch before heading to Zion for camping. The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

The menu has sections that you choose 2-4 items from and share with your table. We tried the Mushroom flatbread, the Pot Roast sandwich, the Beet Salad and the Grilled Oysters. The Grilled Oysters were not a favorite. However, I think that's just personal preference because of the style they are prepared in. We prefer our grilled oysters to be very charred and more of a buttery flavor. These are prepared in an Asian style and and more of a soft grill than a char. Our server very graciously had a second plate served up with more of a grill to the oyster which we appreciated. The rest of the dishes were delicious. We were so full that we passed on dessert, but would definitely be back because the options were inventive and looked so tasty. A doughnut bread pudding, a bourbon brownie; yes to both please!

Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., they serve lunch too and if you're in 'growling stomach mode', try the Boarrito but be forewarned - this is a pork-fest of a monstrosity that's not designed for consumption by weight watchers or thoroughbred jockeys. A large tortilla filled with ham, sausage, bacon crumbles, pulled pork, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is then wrapped on the outside with countless slices of more bacon, smothered with cheese sauce and sour cream...now I need to take a nap just thinking about digesting it. It's a massive meal and I feel like the waitress could have positioned me on all fours in front of a feeding trough in order to graze on it. Bacon Nation is located on the D's second floor inside a very clean and bright dining room with lots of booths, a counter, and an ultra-pleasant hostess named Angel. In summary, a well-earned 5 oink review is deserving because their food is that darn good. "Everywhere there's lots of piggies, living piggy lives. You can see them out for dinner with their piggy wives, Clutching forks and knives...to...eat...their...bacon." Beatles, 1968

Bacon Nation was a must-stop on our Vegas trip--everything was absolutely delicious. The portions…read morewere huge, so big that half our group couldn't even finish their meals. It was super filling and exactly what we needed to recharge. Service was a bit slow, and our bride-to-be didn't receive her food until several minutes after everyone else. We also waited quite a while for the check and were met with a little sass, which felt off. Overall, the food was great, but the service could definitely use some improvement.

Traveled from Austin, TX and Little Rock, AR with my cousin to experience Usher yesterday. Enjoying…read morenew places and discovering amazing vibes and delicious food is why I enjoy going to concerts out of town. My cousin found out about Therapy from TikTok and so I made reservations for today at 2:30pm in advance. We made sure to be on time matter of fact we arrived 30 mins in advance since we had to catch a cab and traffic seemed heavier today. Once we entered we were greeted immediately however we were taken upstairs 20 mins later from arrival (no big deal still before our reservations) but there were no available tables. I spied a table getting ready to leave on the first floor and asked if we could wait for it and the hostess happily agreed (thank you)!! Unlimited mimosa 10/10, music 10/10, our personal service 10/10 (she tried and I don't even think she was a server but was very friendly and accommodating) however customer service/wait times/morale 2/10 because I'm typing this right now and it's 3:39pm 11/16/24 and I just got my wings still waiting on my fries. Reservation made for 2:30pm made it at 2:00pm just now have wings no fries and my cousin still doesn't have her food at 3:40....and to Christopher I've read your replies and you're disgusting!!! So let me help you with your response...I'm NOT broke, I DON'T need anyone to sponsor or fund my activities when I'm on vacation...DO BETTER!!! However the lemon pepper wings and fries (second request first were cold) tasted delicious. Therapy has potential if the customer service from Chris was better and food arrived in a timely manner. Also witnessed multiple tables abandon their orders due to excessive wait time however ALL the staff is amazing!! Update: actually met Chris after our food came and he is a complete jerk in person too. Drugs are bad people! Save your money and eat elsewhere I will never support this establishment again.
