Ribeye
Angela W.

We visited again for their ribeye...price went up to $22 now. Still great value, we enjoyed our steak and have some for lunch tomorrow.

Lindsey D.

The 20$ 1lb ribeye and 2 6oz filet deals are a fantastic deal. The steaks were cooked perfectly. Obviously not the must amazing steak I've ever had but it was very good especially for the price. The green beans were atrocious completely inedible canned mush. The wings were 17$ which is basically as much as the entire steak dinner and they were basically naked and not sauced despite supposedly being garlic parm. The servers were friendly, and the place itself wasn't anything crazy. Very standard design and theme, which for a spot like this it doesn't need to be. Overall the steaks were completely worth going for but everything else was not. Review from May 2025

$22 ribeye, onion rings, and the vegetable of the day.

Don't go here expecting a fancy steakhouse, But the $22 ribeye will blow you away. I drove my wife and daughter out to Vegas for the Morgan Wallen concert. I did a Google search on inexpensive steaks in Las Vegas, and Jackson's bar and Grill came up. The ribeye was tender, very flavorful, and I believe they use a charcoal grill to cook it, so it gives it that extra flavor. If you can get over, not having the fluff that Vegas can provide, this is definitely a place to go. The service was great, the food was awesome. I would recommend getting there somewhat early if possible, I got there at 5:45, there was nobody in there, but then the place started to fill up. Highly recommended!

10oz Ribeye Steak, veggies and a baked potato side

My sister took us to Jackson Bar and Grill to grab a 16 oz rib eye steak, veggies and a side $22. My wife ordered the rib eye steak breakfast with hash browns, two eggs and toast. My sister ordered the rib eye steak, veggies and a baked potato. I ordered something lighter, fish and chips. My sister liked her steak, veggies and baked potato. The steak was large and cooked to her taste. My wife said the breakfast was a good value and lived the hash browns moistness on the inside and crispy crunchy outside. My fish and chips were crunchy, tasted frozen but good. For a good price and value come try Jackson's Bar and Grill, it is hidden behind a bar.

While the famous steak special and top-notch food are well-known, the true treasure here lies in the exceptional staff. From bussers to servers to bartenders, everyone has been so friendly and welcoming. I usually go on day shift to visit Lisa (and get some of that Lucky Lisa Magic to win some money on the machines). I've also had great service from Rob and Jay on later shifts. I've had fantastic service with day servers Tracy, Kat, and Lisa 2 (not the bartender). Owner Brian has put together a solid crew that knows how to make everyone feel welcome. When you pull up, the unassuming exterior has ample parking and a door with a doorbell/buzzer. Ring the buzzer and wait for the door to unlock to enter (there's an audible "click"). Once inside, go to the left and around the bar to access the dining room. The dining room is much larger than it appears when you first walk in. There's also the option to find a seat at the bar and cozy up to your favorite video poker machine. There are some non-gaming seats available at the bar. The clientele is somewhat social, but the majority are primarily focused on gaming, drawn by the excellent gaming promotions. The dining area can accomodate larger parties if needed. Reservations aren't accepted, everything is first-come, first-served. It does get busy in the evening and on weekends due to the popularity of the steak special, which runs 24 hours daily. was I primarily go for the steaks, but want to make note of the desserts. The dessert options rotate but are always interesting and tasty. One of my favorites is the Creme Brule' Cheesecake. I think it is a must-try and also recommend the blueberry pie. A few times opted for the filet mignon and was very pleased with the price and quality. If you're looking for a delicious meal at a reasonable price point with a relaxed environment and the option for good gaming, Jackson's is the place.

Greeted kindly with a 3-4 minute wait on a big game night. Outside was clean, place was easy to find, parking was available, greeted by bar staff, shown where dining room is. Restaurant host area is orderly and stocked. Signage says wait to be seated. Hostess is very presentable, smiling and kind. Wall decor is clean and dusted, trash is empty. Cleanliness matters and is noted, very organized. We were seating next to the kitchen door, sneak peaks revealed clean floors, counters and prep areas. Yesssss this matters!!!! Our server was Rain, very attentive, upbeat, helpful, just a sweetheart. Great recommendations were made. Order Blue cooked ribeye with garlic butter and double fresh broccoli.Perfectly cooked seasoned and seared. Not many places can cook blue, it's usually medium. They did it twice for two orders on the table.. STOLE MY HEART! No salt needed!! That's it... THATS IT... PERFECTLY SEASONED AND COOKED Ribeye cooked medium rare smothered in butter, mushrooms, and onions. Executed nicely, friend their steak. Bar order: two shots tequila meat, Michelob ultra in bottle. Drinks were served quickly, house tequila was good. Service: Customer knocked out of the park. The owners were walking around assisting servers and the customers making friendly chit chat, welcoming all.. generating a good family feel!!! Seemed like GENUINE and pleasant people. Great deal for $22 a plate!!! We figured even if it was medium and we had to add A 1 it will still be a deal for Vegas over fast food. It sure was!!! Would we return: HELL YEAH..

From the outside, Jackson's looks like an old local spot sitting at one end of a strip mall. Inside is no different. As soon as you walk in, there's the smell of cigarette smoke with a large bar to serve the thirsty. To access the restaurant section in the back, there's a path to the left that leads right into the small waiting area. The hostess will check you in and if you're lucky, the wait won't be long. When we went, the servers were a few ladies that looked like they've been there for years, meaning they know the crowd, they're experienced and talk to everyone like we're all locals. Jackson's is known for their 16oz. ribeye at a crazy price. Every table around us ordered it, and I see why. It's a nice size, cooked perfectly and had nice grill malls and nicely charred edges. It comes with a humongous baked potato and some corn. We also ordered the chicken fingers and fish & chips. The fish were large, tender and crispy ... not bad at all. But the chicken fingers were not edible because they were way too salty. Our server also confirmed the chicken tenders to run salty. She was nice enough to take that off our bill. Overall, it was fun to steer away from the touristy Strip and try something that feels more local. The food was great, and the service was prompt and efficient. I'm giving it a 4 because of the too salty chicken and smoky interior even when there were many families present. Note: They don't take reservations, all walk-in.

Jackson's has my favorite steak in Vegas at this lower price point ($22). Deals on food used to be common in Vegas. It's rare now but steaks (usually steak and eggs) are still available for under $10 at a few places in Vegas. The steak quality is pretty low at these places though. These deals are also only valid at bad hours. For example, Ellis Island's deal is from 11pm to 6am. Jackson's price is available during a more reasonable midnight to 4pm window. Jackson's isn't super cheap but it's the cheapest I've seen for what I'd call a good steak. STEAK Jackson's has two options for its Steak and eggs at $22. *1 LB Ribeye (before cooking) and Eggs 2 Eggs any style, hash browns and choice of toast *Garlic Marinated Bistro Filet and Eggs 2 - 6oz filets, 2 eggs any style, hash browns and choice of toast I tried the Garlic Bistro option that comes with two 6oz filets. It was cooked perfectly to my requested medium rare. The steak was tender and flavorful. The eggs and hash browns were good too. SERVICE Good overall. I came at an off hour (I think it was 3pm). Vibes were strange because as soon as I entered it's just a bar there. You have to walk around and behind to reach the dining room. Since I was there during slow hours, nobody was there. Nobody was dining yet and staff was probably in the kitchen working. I only had to wait 5 mins for staff to emerge though and as soon as I got seated, several other parties arrived and filled tables. PARKING Large, shared parking lot. (Free)

Great service. Nice atmosphere, especially for hockey fans. Good location. Locals love this place and where else in Vegas can you get a $22.00 steak dinner.

We got the $22 steak dinner cones with vegetable and 1side. Ford is delicious and was at the table in no time , staff is very friendly and provide wonderful service , esp Rayne . It's a cozy area with roughly 12 tables or so but very accommodating for small or bigger groups and a few TV's to watch some sports on. Give them a try I dine think you will be disappointed, esp the steak and mashed potatoes w/ gravy they are delicious

We came out for a lunch date. When you approach the door they'll need to buzz you in. The bartender itself is very friendly and super nice staff. It can get Smokey inside as the patrons are allowed to smoke inside. The food is good quality and the very tasty. The pay tables are good and it can be a lucky lunch if you sit at the bar. Go check it out and enjoy.

Repurrposed some ribeye w some leftover fresh crab and made a tasty snack!

**My stars on this review are for the service, fries and dressing!** Woman wanted a steak meal, despite making steak and lobster tails not long ago. She found this place on a video and it was the reviewers favorite steak of the 6 places mentioned. It wasn't far, no hour restrictions, let's do it. *I saw someone mention Monzu in their review and I absolutely want to go there next! Anyway! There's a sign on the door that seems to baffle folks to the point I wondered if they were closed! But it's just explaining how the bell/door work for entrance. You walk in to a mild smoke smell which (if you're sensitive to everything like me) quickly goes away. We were greeted by the bartender, which is what you walk into first. I don't think I saw any male employees on the floor, just women! Once sat it took a minute for someone to come over. I felt myself getting slightly perturbed but Jessa (J) came over and melted that right away! She explained she had the whole section, and it was a dull busy. Almost packed but it didn't have the feel of a super busy, loud place. If that even makes sense lol. Once I understood and got some bubble water, I was chill. We knew we wanted steaks but the garlic filets sounded tasty but J said go ribeye. She also said go wings over scampi for appetizer. We asked if the mashed potatoes were real, she said boxed, but they do make their dressings in house! I did the ribeye, med rare, added mushrooms & onions - she did it as a side so it's fresher and you get more. Good lookin! Garlic butter, and a salad with Italian and ranch. We shared 10 wings. Half lemon pepper half garlic parm. Woman ordered a med well steak based on what that temp should look like online. The wings came out relatively quick and the only thing I was annoyed by was that she said our entrees were also ready. The table was small and she asked if we wanted them then or to wait. I'm not crazy about food sitting under a heat lamp but wanted to have a couple wings and not feel pressured. Before we could touch the fries the lady came back with a fresh plate saying they were fresher than the ones we had! The lemon pepper was salty to both of us and wasn't very lemony or peppery lol. The garlic parm wasn't very present in flavor either. The fries were yummy tho. Not sure what the first plate tasted like but this were delicious, warm and fresh. The steaks came out very shortly after and they looked visually appealing. Mine was cooked perfectly, great marbling and color. I knew chefs veggies was code for frozen so I immediately moved that bowl. I can't do that texture. I ordered loaded mashed which I knew were bagged but I didn't know how salty they were. They complimented the steak bc it needed salt but what I realized as I was like a quarter through was that nothing had flavor! I love to not really season a good steak so I can taste it, but it lacked flavor. The onions and mushrooms were like adding water. The butter did nothing. I wanted steak sauce, wasn't on the table, wasn't smart enough to ask. Worcestershire couldn't help it either. I ate bc I was hungry but finally said ok I have lemon garlic compound butter and a host of ways to make this better at home, so I decided to pack it up. On the other side of the table... woman wasn't happy w the temp and color of her med well steak. It just looked well. She ate a couple bites and said it was really chewy too. J stopped by and she told her about it so we agreed she'd try a medium steak. She took her plate and said they'd get her a fresh potato too. The next steak was brought and J poked it with the temp stick (woman was using the facilities - which she said if you could hold it, do so) but based on that poke she felt the temp was right. Cool. Woman comes back and has a tough time cutting this one too. She counted over a minute she was sawing away. J came by and saw it and was mortified by how this was going. She offered to take it off the bill and have another one made med rare for her to take. Can't argue w that. J helped me get the containers together to take home - it was a lot of food! She saw the veggies looking said and alone, she said take them home and season them up, which is what I had planned for the rest of the meal. I can't do the texture but know woman eats them so I said sure. Between all of this and her being super busy she was just a kind person. I could see other waitresses being annoyed about the meat and taking it out on the customer. Not Jessa! She approached service like how you want to be treated as a customer vs what's in the bottom line. I feel if someone's reasonable in the request that this is absolutely how things should be handled. She was funny, charismatic, we had loads of pleasant exchanges over the course of our time inside. We were floored by her kindness in still sending us home with a brand new steak and potato! I can only hope the discarded food wasn't a total loss, so many hungry animals and people. Thanks Jessa and staff!!

Jackson's Bar & Grill was highly recommended on Reddit when searching for the best Country Fried Steaks in Vegas. I came just for that and didn't even realize they have a fantastic steak deal that they're known for. Can confirm, their Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs is a 10/10 in my book. The place is kinda divey which is right up my alley. I felt comfortable and right at home. Even more so after speaking with my first server Kat, who once lived in the Coachella Valley where I'm currently visiting Vegas from! Such a small world! In fact, everyone I spoke with was beyond friendly. Just observing the employees interact with each other, you can tell they foster a very positive culture and work environment. Even the owner Brian was working there. Although I didn't get to speak with him, he seemed like a great guy! After my initial Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs breakfast, I came right back the same day for dinner and got the $22 1lb Ribeye Steak. It comes with a side of veggies and one side of your choice. I ordered it medium rare which was cooked perfectly and so good! I came back for a third time the next afternoon for the $22 1lb Ribeye Steak and Eggs. You choose your meat temperature, style of eggs, toast and side as well. Again, perfectly executed and delicious! Apparently, they have fantastic homemade ranch too. On my first visit, a customer came in just to order eight of the ranches. Then the next day, I overheard the lady at the table next to me said that it was the best ranch she's ever had. I'll have to try that next time with my fries. Jackson's Bar & Grill is the epitome of what old Vegas use to be. Friendly faces, great deals and fantastic food. They are also open 24 hours, and serve breakfast until 4pm! Perfect for night owls and late risers like me. This will now be on my rotation of "must visit" places every time I'm in Vegas and can't wait to be back!

This is your typical dive bar that caters to locals, has a few video poker machines, plenty of monitors to watch a game or two from every angle, AND serves decent breakfast plate at pretty good prices. The breakfast menu ranges from about $8.99 to $14.99, which to me is average these days. Once I saw the Country Fried Steak and Eggs with Home Fries on the menu, I had to try it. It was a big plate I'd say, but the crispy fried steak was drenched in gravy which masked a lot of it. Just wish the steak was a bit softer versus crunchy. Next time, I'll likely try something else as there's a lot listed on the menu. Even noticed their omelets being a good size coming out of the kitchen. Also listed, I noticed they have pizzas, burgers, pastas, sandwiches, chili cheese fries, and chicken wings to choose from. I mean what more can you ask for? As for the dining/bar/gaming area itself, it all appeared fairly clean. When I walked in, I was pretty shocked by it tbh. I had imagined a sleezy downtown smoky bar, but it wasn't. And after getting seated, our server Bunny was doing practically everything. She went from table to table, taking orders, serving dishes, refilling coffee cups, wiping down tables, etc etc. And she seemed positive about doing all these things too! She deserves a raise, and all the credit for this review. Will definitely come back to try something else, thanks to her!

We ordered a few dishes to share and loved how creative everything was. It's Japanese-American fusion, so you'll see fun twists like wagyu sliders, wagyu sandos, uni pasta, nori's, and miso black cod. service was great! everyone so friendly and attentive. It felt like the perfect mix of dinner + lounge energy. Not quite a club, not just a restaurant -- somewhere in between where you can eat, sip, and hang out for hours. they have a live DJ and it was playing the best music! P.S. the owner is chef winston from Omakase Kyara so you know the food is good here!

Chef Winston's Omakase Kyara is on my regular rotation, so I had to see what GastroPUB Nisei was about. While Kyara's food is a science, perfectly executed like a precision 911 gt3, Nisei is a fukn 1967 mustang fastback restomod with a roaring v8 that provides throttle therapy. This food is creative, with deep flavors, and will punch your soul. It's (add exploitive here) delicious at bar prices Best bites: Wagyu sliders. I could eat 10 of these. The balance of the Wagyu, truffle, and the brioche is amazing. This is not your dry, bar slider Kalbi tacos. It's more like a steak taco flavored Korean. I could eat 10 of these after my 10 sliders Ox tail ramen made me feel like anton ego. If you grew up on ox tail, you will not be disappointed Lobster rolls were perfectly done Miso cod fantastic I'm going back to try the rest of the menu. Go check out Nisei, if you want a drink, a good vibe, or just an amazing bite that will be etched into your memory

I absolutely love this pub. I try to visit it every time I am in Vegas…read more The staff are super awesome. They know their Irish drinks! Don't see what you like in the drink menu? Ask away! Every drink I've had here has been great. I love to taste a variety of whiskies. If you order the Irish coffee, note it is served with hot coffee if that if your thing. They have happy hour (half off certain appetizers) every day of the week between 3-6pm. All of the food has been good. I have tried several dishes now. The Irish breakfast is very good. It is a decent size, you can share it with someone. It is pretty authentic. Looking to try blood pudding? No need to travel across the ocean, this pub has it and it tastes good (I travel to Ireland often). The homemade potato soup is quite tasty if you're looking for something warm. Whenever I come here with a group, we order the nachos. It is huge, and it is so good. The homemade crisps (chips) and gravy are super tasty if youre a gravy person (which I am). The Irish stew is quite good. Same with the shepherds pie. The fish and chips are also tasty. Ive ordered this multiple times and it never disappoints. The fish is a good size. I really like the beer batter on the fish. We have never been disappointed with our food. Go early to beat the crowds and take advantage of their happy hour. They also have sports games playing. Oh yeah - one side of the building has some casino games and a bar, the other side has the restaurant and a bar AA well. There is also some type of banquet room (i haven't asked about that), but I bet you can reserve it for a larger party. Great spot.
