    Bottom of biscuit

Decent vanilla latte but it's a latte. Ordered a $9 biscuit and I feel like I don't need to say much and let the pictures do it justice. I'm kind shocked that they would sell and serve something so pathetic. Biscuit was burnt on both sides. When you peeled off the burnt layer the inner layer just crumbled bc it was so dry and hard. No flavor. We told the lady and she gave us another biscuit that was just as bad. I should have asked for a refund but I will certainly not be coming back. Also, the automatic tipping is so distasteful plus there is a service fee in addition to the automatic tip. My favorite part thought is when they ask for a tip after they've already given themselves a tip (insert sarcasm). I asked them to remove the tip and could decide for myself if they deserved one. I know this place is popular but that's because once upon a time the biscuit was so soft, flavorful, and melted in your mouth. The service was good, counter ladies were friendly and they actually had pastries and options to choose from. That's simply not the case anymore and I thought I should share how much this place has gone downhill so others don't waste their money.

First time at this new location on grand Boulevard, it's in the Hyatt hotel... Fabulous in a word! Perfect coffee, and I am not a Starbucks fan by the way... But they have the Stumptown Coffee and it is beyond great. Food is a plus, we ordered the frittata of the day, and also the biscuits and sausage gravy. They only use fresh farm to table, the bread is ridiculous get it to go... This is My favorite place for breakfast in the panhandle.

Best avocado toast I have had- the pickled jalapeño and zataar were an amazing addition. Must have with a perfectly poached egg. And the steel cut oat meal came loaded with great fruit on top. The latte was hot and very good (strong but not bitter) as was the unsweet peach black tea. Don't let the location fool ya. Spot on goodness.

Black Bear Bread is a legit bakery. Priced on the higher side, all of their baked goods are amazing. I have had their blueberry scones, some of the best scones ever. The biscuits are to die for, especially as a breakfast sandwich. Service is friendly and efficient. The store itself is in a hotel not far from a retail center so it's a great opportunity to get your breakfast before engaging in some great shopping!

Black Bear is the best place to visit for breakfast near Sandestin, and maybe even the best along 30A! This location is a bit smaller than the Black Bear in Santa Rosa, tucked on the side of the Hyatt hotel just down from the main tourist shopping area in Miramar Beach. There is ample free parking (golf carts allowed!), even on a busy day. On weekends in the summer, expect lines for brunch! It moves fast, but because the inside ordering area is small, the line will stretch outside of the restaurant. There is limited indoor seating, as well as tables on the patio. These are first come first serve. Not great for big parties (more than 6 people), but doable. Everything on the food menu is great -- I'm a big fan of the smoked salmon tartine, grain bowl, egg & sausage croissant, and daily frittata. There are also seasonal items like latkes which are usually fantastic. The items are priced fairly, incredibly fresh and colorful, and served in pretty large portions! If you want pastries like fresh baked cinnamon rolls, croissants, and pop tarts, you should aim to arrive before peak crowds (i.e before 10:00am). These often go fast because they're so tasty! For drinks, they have mimosa pitchers (!!!) and coffee supplies by Stumptown Roasters. I personally love their iced matcha latte, as well as ordering an iced latte with a pump of lavender. The seasonal specials are almost always delicious. Finally, service is always friendly and helpful. Even when busy, the staff are patient with your order and willing to offer suggestions. While this is a counter-service spot, they'll bring your order to your table and clear the plates which is great. There's also a much-appreciated local discount :)

This is right next to the Hyatt, little hidden away off the main drag. But it is worth it. Fantastic, fresh baked bread, wonderful coffee, and very knowledgeable staff.

We came in a Saturday morning, to be expected, there was an hour and a half wait. There is little to no parking. We had to make our self a parking spot in the mud. The parking lot had the biggest potholes, it looked like Louisiana!! It was pouring rain so the puddles were huge. There was nonstop traffic in & out. Cars were stopping because they couldn't move on the parking lot. We ending up waiting for about 2 hours. When we got in, we were brought to a table immediately. We ordered a Nutella coffee and YUM!! Husband ordered the stuffed ham & cheese croissant, it was good. I ordered the spring steak omelette AND OMGGGGGG. The garlic Parmesan tots were DELISH. They had a rosemary taste and it was probably the best I ever had. Then we got the berry pancakes & they were very good! They were fluffy and cake like. The berries were fresh and they had cream cheese flavor. The presentation of the food was amazing. Service was amazing. I would LOVE to come back.

Service was excellent, shout out to our server Neila, she was very friendly and attentive. Parking could get tricky when it's busy. We got there early enough so we were able to find a spot right away. It was getting busy as we were leaving and people were waiting for parking spots. Food and coffee were very delicious and very beautiful. We got Pistachio signature coffee, it had Dulce de Leche on the cup with Pistachio crumble. It was delicious and picture perfect. For food we got Omelete Sancho Panza and Pork Belly Ceviche. The omelete Sancho panza was stuffed with chorizo, Bacon, tomato, spring onions and cream cheese topped with melted mozzarella and Spanish Manchego cheese and roasted red pepper. Everything together was delicious. The pork belly Ceviche had avocado with red onions, red pepper, cilantro, lemon juice and smashed fried green plantains. A bite with everything on the fried green plantains was to die for. We will be visiting again for sure next time we are in Destin.

Gotta love local!!!…read more Got some pizza here on a week day during our Fl summer vaca b/c we were looking for something locally owened. Got the hawaiian, pepperoni and cheesy bread. All super good! Crust was a thin crust, not too paper thin though, so a nice in between of thin and regular. The cheesy bread was SOOOO good! The cheese on the bread was nice and thick and gooey! A+++ on the cheese bread in my opinion. Great helping of cheese. So if you just want cheesy bread that's light or mid on the cheese I would recommend clarifying your preference b/c they're serious about the CHEESE part of the bread! Called ahead to see what the busiest times are and typical wait times, b/c wasn't sure if we should order assuming longer wait times or if we should wait to order until closer to being ready to be hungry enough for everyone to eat. Called and the gal on the phone was SOOO nice and friendly, advised week day order before 5pm and will be ready within 30 mins. Advised we'll order before 5 and will probably put order online and she asked for my name and advised she'll keep an eye for my name to come through, which I thought was just an extra step of nice courtesy that I wasn't expecting and just thought that was so thoughtful! Was about $90 for two big pizzas and the cheesy bread, but SO worth it. The pizzas were also BIG! So was very happy with the portion sizes. Happy to spend this money for the quality and supporting local owned establishments that put out quality product! I would recommend purchasing here over other franchised chains.

BLUF: Excellent breakfast all day and delicious, fresh donuts in a diner-like atmosphere…read more My party of three arrived at The Donut Hole to a long-ish line down the ramp and I was wondering if it's worth it. It is! The Donut Hole most certainly has diner vibes and I suspect the booths are original to its 1978 origins - both of which made for a nostalgic experience. Although named for the sweet, fried confections, The Donut Hole has a huge menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner items. My table all ordered breakfast even though it was lunch time. The breakfast was awesome - omelettes, pancakes, poached eggs, cheese grits, coffee and the most delicious rye bread. I had the sausage and cheese omelet and there was something about it that made it better than other omelettes I've had. Also, I loved the rye bread - it was sliced thicker than what I am used to and it was very pillowy. I enjoyed it dry but it was also good with a little butter. We waited about 20 or so minutes for a table, but once seated we enjoyed prompt, attentive, excellent service. And's let's not forget to talk about the fresh made donuts! Oh my, there were a lot of flavors to choose from and none of them disappointed. Initially I went with a chocolate frosted and Bavarian cream filled donut. But then a fresh tray of key line donuts came out and I had to get one of those too. My sister ordered a few and we took them back to our rental, cut them in quarters and had a donut tasting party. Delicious! I am looking forward to my return trip to The Donut Hole. A visit to Santa Rosa Beach would not be complete without a stop at The Donut Hole.

Do you think I left any in my plate? no sir! Wife ordered two fried eggs that come with hash browns and biscuit and she barely finished too. Kathy was our server with a smile from ear to ear that made our day, very patient and took our order quickly and accurately. Considering the number of people in the restaurant our food came out quickly. We asked Kathy about something we saw next table and could not guess what it was on the menu. Apple fritters she said so we ordered one to go, well have it with coffee tomorrow There is a well known breakfast franchise across the highway but they are no competition to the Donut Hole, just simply there is no other place I have been in the Nation that serves as good as this and I have been to quite a few, I wish there was one near home. Place is well lit and inviting with enough personnel to tackle the crowd Place is crazy busy and when we left the line was all the way to the front porch Are we coming back? you bet we will in the week and a half we have left in Paradise. Only about a mile from Topsail Hill State Park and next time we will take the bikes, easy ride on the bike lane on Highway 98

They don't take reservations, so we put our name on the wait list. We started at #21 and by the way our shuttle got there from the time share we had moved up to #5. It's a happening spot so I suggest you do the same. When we were finally seated we had a nice spot outside to people watch while we ate. It was a beautiful day so that spot was perfect. The menu has a lot to offer, but OF COURSE, we started with drinks. Two ordered the peach bellini, one ordered the whipped pineapple mimosa, and I had the Lavender Paloma. The Lavender Paloma was different. It hinted of lavender, not too sweet and I couldn't taste the liquor, but I definitely felt it after awhile. Then we ordered brunch. I'm an eggs benedict fan, so I ordered the Trifecta, which was a combination of three different styles of egg benedict: Cochon, Chicken St. Charles and Bayou Shrimp. All three were quite tasty. My partner ordered a side salad that she was raving over (spring mix w/tomato and champagne vinagrette). We also had fried green tomatoes which were perfect, French toast bites, and an egg platter with potatoes and bacon. Everybody enjoyed their meals and drinks. I'm sure if we lived in the area, we'd go back.
