I only wish I had discovered this place sooner. The food: I ordered the People's Champ to share with my partner. As a big fan of lox bagels, this sandwich immediately stood out to me. We got it on the jalapeño cheddar bagel, which was delicious. My only complaint was that it tasted a little too salty because of the amount of capers, but aside from that, it was super yummy. I also ordered the Iced Nilla Berry Latte, which came with a raspberry cold foam. The cold foam flavor was very faint, and there was barely any coffee taste. Overall, it felt a bit watered down. The service: Quick and easy service. They give you a buzzer so you can find a table and wait instead of standing around near the pickup area.

The café is cozy and beautifully decorated, with inviting little nooks throughout the space that make it easy to settle in and stay awhile. The menu offers a nice variety of coffee, tea, refreshers, and other specialty drinks. I initially tried the self-service ordering option but couldn't quite get it to work (probably user error! ), so I ordered directly with one of the baristas instead. Problem solved! I enjoyed my iced chai latte and am already looking forward to returning to try one of their refreshers. Between the welcoming atmosphere, thoughtfully designed spaces, and beautiful patio, Blend Coffee Bar is a great neighborhood spot worth checking out.

So I ended up swapping to a caprese sandwich (which I'm glad I did) because I had a limited time. I actually think I would enjoy the sandwich more than the toast.
