My experience with Scot Swanson, owner of Budget Blinds, was not one I would want to repeat. I…read morefound some of his behavior and interactions with me to be manipulative and concerning, and it significantly affected my level of trust in him. As a result of my personal experience, I would not be comfortable having Scott in my home alone or having him around my family without supervision. That is a serious conclusion for me, and I would encourage anyone considering this business to carefully research the owner and make their own informed decision. I am sharing this review because I believe customers have a right to hear about experiences that may affect their comfort and sense of safety when inviting a business owner into their home.

Have been a loyal customer…read morefor many years but I'm absolutely flabbergasted by the lack of customer support and the arrogance displayed by the owner. The technicians have been to our home twice to replace sensors and they love to drag their feet since they charge by the hour - I don't see how it takes them 3 hours to replace 3 window sensors, one of them upset me when I noticed he was wasting time removing the glue left from the sensors he replaced until I demanded that he leave it alone. For over a year we've experienced issues with the system faulting for no reason - tamper alarms/siren going off at 3am - and made several requests for technical support but they never even responded to our emails, that is until my husband mentioned he was considering switching to Ring monitoring - then the owner pretended to care and got nasty. Also, if you are a current customer, MAKE SURE TO READ YOUR CONTRACT, they are 3-year commitments and are AUTO-RENEWED, they WILL NOT let you cancel. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
