Thank you BJ's Towing. Our daughter's car was a mile up the National Park road to Mt. Baker. They were super busy and not able to tow it to Seattle because of the previous calls waiting for their trucks. They came to pick up the car and took it back to the shop and towed it to Seattle at the end of the day. Our daughter was able to get back to Seattle and we didn't have to wait until 6pm for them to get the car. We appreciated the solution that allowed me to get our daughter to a meeting in Seattle in the afternoon. Thank you BJ's Towing for the helpful solution! Sincerely, Mom of a Teen Driver. read more

Was referred to them by the US Forest Service after treating my van a bit too hard up a mountain. Went through AAA, who tried to deny me coverage saying the road was unmaintained when it actually was maintained. BJ's advocated for me and was able to talk AAA into covering the tow. One of the drivers, Nick, was able to get my vehicle with no problems and the whole team was super awesome throughout. Huge shoutout to them for getting me out of a sticky situation. read more

BJ's saved the day!!! We got stuck in the mud while towing our small travel trailer trying to avoid a flooded road. The person who helped on the phone was great, Jason who came to help us was our Hero! They should be your #1 call if you need road side assistance in their area!! read more

I've always thought of BJ's towing is one of the most courteous and prompt towing services I've ever dealt with. I've used them exclusively for the past 25 years and have had toes that were over 100 miles long I have always been impressed with the drivers and with their service. Today all that has changed. I've been waiting over 3 hours for a tow and given time after time in which the toll was supposed to arrive, only to just receive a call from AAA stating that now claiming it will be a minimum of another 2 hours which comes to a total of 5 plus hours for my car to be blocking the driveway to a business. I have no way to move it because the entire front tire has fallen off and despite being AAA Plus and despite having called in a timely manner I'm being given the runaround and it's frustrating and it is completely lost my confidence in this towing service read more

The folks that helped towing our car from a ditch were awesome, very understanding profession and courteous. Excellent service. However, the customer service at NAPA is horrible. The gentlemen Steve is very argumentative, not helpful and condescending. read more

The most amazingly compassionate people I have ever known. My situation was completely new to me. My car was totaled on the side of Mt Baker. I live in the Midwest. Steve and Dave walked me through the process of dealing with my car. Their first focus was to make sure the driver was ok. Inept. Couldn't handle a simple tow because it was in a parking garage. Another company had no issue. Driver was belligerent and racist when he learned ( having not read the request of roadside assistance) that the car was in a garage. The truck could easily have fit in the garage. I called the company to complain. Turns out the racist incompetent driver is the owner. Do not recommend read more

While we where in Bellingham,WA Our Alternator decided to quit on us, so we had to call AAA. Apparently they are the only tow truck company AAA uses as they were busy and took 2 hours to get to us after AAA had contacted them. We had them tow the car to our resort, Worldmark Birch Bay and informed them in the morning we would be calling AAA again to tow to a place to get it fixed. So in the morning we found a place while searching online, a Firestone in Bellingham and called AAA and towed the car their. The driver was the same guy as we had the night before, and was very pleasant and friendly. all my dealings with tow trucks I really don't know why they have a bad rap! Anyway. was able to get the car fixed and us back on the road, and we were very happy with BJ's Towing :) read more

Super cool guy and faster than expected service. The guy knows cars better than your average mechanic. I had a problem with my Audi coming back from Vancouver. As soon as I got across the border I called AAA. The driver arrived before the ETA and was way cool. Drive went smoothly. Highly recommended. read more

Back in those days they bent over backwards without an ask to ensure customers would return over and over. Staff argued with me that MY tires had a 100K rating when the manufacturer and competitors clearly stated the tires were good for 115K when I originally purchased them This year they are currently rated for 100K. They lowered the rating due to early wear problems is my guess. Mine had only 62K on them. They should have had only 54% wear. They're now down to 3-4 mm where safety on wet roads is compromised. At first the sales person gave me a full retail quote. I had to push for the warranty reduction which he knew I was there for. Then they offered to sell me more crap for full pop retail minus 25ish%. Never again! I will take our family vehicles elsewhere and make sure everybody that I know hears this true story. Bye Kal Tire. 20 yr customer gone!

thought they would be a good place to buy new rims and tires.... wrong!! 2021 truck, so legally…read morethey have to install tire sensors. they did not. I was given a quote without. so when my truck told me the sensors weren't working I brought it back in to get looked at. quickly they told me they did not install any and I can bring my old tires in and they can use those sensor. after I told them I had sold my old ones they tried telling me it's $52 per sensor and I need 4. After I mentioned they legally have to install them the topic was dropped. once I received my truck back all 4 new rims had scratches and wear marks from them tightening the lug nuts and removing the tire. I would not recommend going here. they clearly don't put the care into peoples vehicles and the customer servic/knowledge is piss poor.

Quirk of my vehicle: dual-radiator failure had leaked both the rad fluid AND all the tranny fluid. Stranded. Need to get home to Vancouver - work to do. No time for this, no time for a major repair. Call Jack's Towing. Girl on the phone is SUPER helpful and understanding - realising that I am stranded and very upset! Arranges a tow truck fast! Was there in... 10 minutes tops. Tow truck fellow who arrived is very helpful and clearly knowledgeable - worked that tow-truck lift-mechanism like an ARTIST! Absolutely dispelled any concerns that my truck might get scratched or damaged during towing. Towed me the 100K back to my home in Vancouver, while I rode in the cab with him. Friendly, polite. Yes it was expensive, but totally worth it. Seems like other reviews are complaining: personally, I FEEL LIKE JACK'S TOWING SAVED MY BUTT, AND I AM VERY GRATEFUL. I have owned it since 2002, now have…read more227,000 Km on the car and just back from a road trip Vancouver to Key West Florida and back in the winter of 2015/16. I found it difficult to spend the time and money to get regular maintenance servicing done on my car at MB in Langley. So, I went about trying to find an independent mechanic that I would trust with my car. Canadian Tire recommended the other European specialist in Abbotsford - but they are not open Saturday. European Auto was ... so I dropped by and met the Owner (Donald) who was open Saturday and made plans to have my maintenance work done at his shop. I was very happy with the service. I work close by - so Donald dropped me off at the office and picked me up when he was done. Put my mind to rest on a couple of things - OK Tire had refused the free service of rotating my tires at 10,000 Km for tire wear - Donald said there was several 1,000 Kms left on the tires and rotated them during the service visit. A visit to Canadian Tire a week later confirmed there is a couple of seasons of tread left on the tires. Sorry OK - no tire purchase from me. Fix Auto had broken a trim clip and the panel part had fallen off (the car is old) - Donald offered to Crazy Glue the clip back together and re-installed the panel during the service visit. Any story of mine where MB had been trying over the past few years, to up-sell motor mount, gasket seals work ... or OK Tire advising me my wheel alignment could not be adjusted perfectly any more ... was answered by Donald in a typical independent mechanic calm sense - replying do only what is necessary. And most of that stuff is not a problem. Preventative maintenance is time or Km mileage based in nature.... And I had my spread sheet of everything ever done to the car handy. Donald changed the oil, replaced the brake fluid, changed the air filter for the cabin (it was found to be filthy from all that desert driving), rotated the tires, repaired the clip and re-set that panel ... advised that brakes were OK, tires are OK. All for about 60% of what MB quoted for the larger (A or B) service. Plus, I did not have to rent a car for the day! I'll be back - definitely. Donald in conversation confirmed to me that he is a competent mechanic and an avid car guy. He once restored a SL 380 one time to like new condition when he lived in Florida.

This store is a life saver!…read more We are contractors and had a job on Orcas Island. We had never been to Orcas before and were unfamiliar with the area. Before we set out for the island, I looked up local hardware stores (just in case). I found Island Hardware & Supply, called them to make sure they would have what we MIGHT need, hopped in the truck and got on the ferry. OF COURSE it turned out that we DID need some items, so we set off for the Hardware store. We got lost and ended up at the little hardware store in East Sound - we thought we were at the right store, but they didn't have any of the supplies we needed. We were pretty confused until I found out from a local resident that the little hardware store in East Sound is on North Beach Road, and the big hardware store (Island Hardware) is on West Beach Road. So we hopped back in the truck again, and set out to find Island Hardware. (yes, we got losat again...but eventually figured it out) We were so relieved when we located the store and were able to purchase the supplies we needed, because we were thinking that we would have to get on the ferry and drive to the home depot in Mt Vernon (that would have taken forever). Island Hardware had all the stuff we wanted, lumber, tools, big bolts, lag screws, plumbing supplies etc. They even have a couple of little gas pumps which was handy for us. We had the occassion to go back up to Orcas for round two of the job which was exterior painting. The paint we purchased needed to be re-tinted at the last minute. We remembered that Island Hardware had a paint department and took the buckets of paint to them with our fingers crossed. Even though we didn't buy the paint from them, they happily re-tinted it for us...I thought that was pretty generous and excellent customer service!

Today we had an issue with our vehicle as it would not start. I called BCAA which put me in contact with AAA. i received a call confirming the address of where I was located and was advised that it would be a ninety minute wait. I no longer hung up the phone and got a call from Jason from BJ Towing telling me that he is 1/2 hour away . We were very impressed with the service he provided and got us on our way. Our car broke down and had to be towed across the Canadian border. BJs picked us up on the other side. We weren't able to get the car to our destination, but they took our car to their shop and kept it safe for us until we could get the car to where it needed to be. read more
