The service was amazing, and if you reserve a table ahead of time, you'll be seated right away! It's good to do that, especially on a busy Saturday night! The parking is bad, since you're fighting with other restaurant and mall parking, so I suggest you car pool or arrive early, to find parking. I had the prime rib dinner special, which is $38.99 on the weekends. You get two sides, a soup or salad, and a pizookie to finish up your meal! It was delicious, so tender and unfortunately my soup showed up after my dinner, so it was too hot to eat and I wasn't interested in it after my main course arrived first. In town visiting and had never been here before. Ordered the chili in a bread bowl. Waiter said they don't serve chili. I pointed to it on my menu. "We don't have that". Ordered a bacon burger while my husband ordered a soup bread bowl. His dinner came out, mine didn't. He waited until his soup began to get cold when I told him to go ahead. He finished his dinner, mine didn't come out. Flagged down the waiter who hadn't come by to "see if everything is ok" and told him to take my dinner off the check since I never got it. Came here once again and decided to investigate about the rat video crawling on the pipes. The rat most likely came from the cracks on the eastern side of the wall - which seems to connect it with other establishments and/or the mall. So that was a relief. The doors connecting the kitcken to the main dining were sealed, so n o rats should fit in there. I sighed to my relief. The vibe is still the same, it was clean and great service at the bar. I haven't been here since 2022. I recommend the Hugo Spritz if you like mocktails but want a small buzz. Very refreshing!! Came here on a friend's recommendation, and since she was treating the three of us, I couldn't say "no"! I used to visit the BJs near my house in the North Bay, but that closed a few years ago, and I was actually looking forward to a BJs Reunion! , We got there just after opening and were promptly seated by the hostess, and then greeted by our server, Hector T., who took our drink orders - we already had a plan for those! The drinks included a "lucky ducky," served in a little white bathtub and, of course, with a yellow rubber ducky floating in it. This tub held at least six types of liquor! The person who ordered seemed to really enjoy it! The ambience here is clean, very traditional BJs decor with the bar visible and attractive with lights and colors and textures of all the bottles on the wall behind. We ordered a few items, including a Blonde fish 'n chips (but subbed a fruit bowl for the chips, so more like a "fish 'n fruits" dish!), a strawberry fields chicken salad, and honey sriracha Brussels sprouts with a side wedge salad (no bacon, extra dressing!). The food came quickly and was well-plated, and looked too good to eat. But eat we did . . . The salad was a big wedge, very fresh and crispy, with diced tomato, red onion, and crumbled blue cheese. The fish was fresh and light, and the strawberry salad was fresh as well, with just enough protein to balance out the veggies. I love these Brussels sprouts, lightly charred and drizzled with a tasty, slightly tangy sauce. And, of course, we had to try the "new" (limited-time) blue Monster pizookie. Yes, blue! It was vanilla bean ice cream, with a hard chocolate shell (like the old-fashioned ice cream cones were dipped in) on a hot, chewy brownie base. The restaurant was pretty busy but our wait wasn't long... only about 15 minutes or so. We were seated near the entrance. It was my husband's birthday and we wanted it to be low key. We ordered the jambalaya... which was just okay. Nothing special at all about it. 6 oz sirloin steak and 1/2 rack ribs combo which was disappointing. Ribs were tiny and dry with barely any meat, just smothered in sauce. Ribeye steak with fries and rice pilaf was delicious. Steak was juicy and tender, as it should be. Bone in wings were ordered in lemon pepper dry rub and nashville hot. The wagyu burger was huge and really good. The shareable chicken bacon ranch pizza we ordered was like a deep dish and very filling. Oddly, all the food that came out was luke warm... nothing was hot. Like they had been sitting at the pass for a while. The 3 drinks we ordered were too sweet: The Bobalicios Mango Sparkling, Blue Raspberry Candy Rush, and the Strawberry Dream. The chocolate chunk pizookie was delicious. But by this time, we were kind of over it and just wanted to get out of there. Kind of not what we expecting from BJ's. We came after homecoming for a Halloween Pizookie. Despite calling ahead, we were told upon arrival that seating would take 10-15 minutes, plus another 10-15 minutes for the dessert. After waiting over 30 minutes, we asked for an update, and the hostess with several facial piercings told us the seating wait was actually an hour. That is a huge difference, and nobody had updated us. We also watched a party of eight walk in, ask for a table, and get seated while we continued waiting. When I questioned it, the hostess said they 'probably had a reservation for weeks.' I didn't hear them mention a reservation, and her response sounded like speculation instead of an actual explanation. We left without ordering. Had we been given an accurate estimate, we could've gone across the street and gotten a full meal. This wasted our time and made the end of our homecoming night incredibly frustrating. Management needs to address how wait times are communicated and how staff respond when customers ask reasonable questions (If there was an option of 0/5 stars I would use it but I guess 1/5 will do) read more

Of all the BJ's locations I've been to, this one is by far the best. The staff here are amazing! Always attentive and friendly. The food is always top notch. If you love beer and you're not a beer club member, you should be. It totally pays for itself if you take advantage of all the perks. $32 every two months, you get a bottle of beer and four cans of something special. In addition you get one free appetizer, a free pizookie, and a free pizza for takeout or delivery. (If you do the math, they're paying you) I happened to go there tonight and watch the 9ers lose to the Seahawks during divisional playoffs (boo!) but the food and ambience was great We started with a Korean style rib special appetizer the split the pork chop special, piranha pale ale, and the salted caramel pizookie. We had a nice lunch at BJ's today. Things didn't start out great though. When we arrived, at 11:25 a.m., the place was not busy at all. We checked in at the front and the hostess said it would be about 4 minutes before we could be seated. I thought that was strange because the place was nearly empty. There was a family before us that were also waiting for a table. Four minutes turned into 10 minutes and then we were seated. The hostess handed us menus and left. One of the menus was filthy. It had dried-up tomato sauce or ketchup on the front of it. How can you hand a guest a filthy menu? How disgusting. That really turned me off. I had to get up and go to the front to ask for another menu. I told the lady that the menu needed to be cleaned. She apologized. Our server, Angle, took excellent care of us. We first ordered drinks and a wedge salad to share, but needed to study the menu longer since it's been years since we've eaten here. Our drinks and salad came out fast. I decided to try the bacon guacamole deluxe burger, medium-rare, with fries. My husband ordered the BJ's brewhouse protein bowl with tri-tip and a root beer float. The wedge salad was delicious and refreshing. The extra blue cheese crumbles on top were very good. We both enjoyed it. Our food came out shortly after we finished the salad. My burger was cooked perfectly. There was a very generous portion of guacamole on the burger and I have to say, it was one of the best guacamole burgers I've had in a long while. The fries were also very good. They were crispy and salted just right. The protein bowl with tri-tip was very tasty. The tri-tip was cooked to a perfect medium rare. My husband really enjoyed it and would order it again in the future. The root beer float was also a winner. There was a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Angel refilled my iced tea by bringing me a new one, which was very nice. Overall, our service with Angel was excellent as well as our food. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Have been here a couple of times . It is mostly crowded if you go in the evenings or on weekends. Weekdays are little better. Quite few times I had to wait to be seated but it is conveniently located inside oakridge mall , so while you are waiting you can go and do some quick shopping . Food is good as with any other location . Staff is friendly. They have happy hour and some specials for each day of the week , so don't forget to check that out if you are visiting . My all time favorite is avocado egg roll and slow roasted tri tip . They have some really good beers and nice cocktails as well . All in all good . read more

Came here recently with a friend on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. It was quite enjoyable. The menu is extensive and I got the Mediterranean pita tacos. I really like the dish but the side grain salad was not good. Little flavor and a bunch of stuff to get stuck in your teeth. My friend ordered the vegetarian pizza and shared a slice and it was really good. The server was friendly and helpful. My only complaint about the service was that they sat us in a two top right in the breezeway of the door opening and I asked them for another seat and the host declined my request, saying he had just sat another section. My husband and I dined in on a Saturday night and were able to beat the rush and get sat immediately. This place is prepared for big parties. There were tons of servers and from what I could tell everyone around us was taken care of fairly quickly. Ordered the avocado egg rolls, which were 3 egg rolls halved, they were pretty good, the acocado wasn't too mushy. As well as the baked ziti which was a big serving and came out hot and bubbling. I got the mini buffalo chicken pizza and was a big fan of the deep dish style crust. Very filling for one person. We visited this restaurant for the first time Tuesday night, and it definitely met our expectations! The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. We also ordered the margarita flight which came with four different flavors of margaritas my favorite was the white peach boba and strawberry! Our server, Manuel did an excellent job as he was very attentive, friendly, and took his time to guide us as first timers. Came for the $13 Pizookie Meal Deal. Not much to say about the food except that it's truly a great deal for only 13 bucks, the food is solid, and there's something for everyone. I do want to praise Zachery, our server, who elevated our dining experience. He provided great service with a smile, took time to engage in friendly conversation and recommendations, came back multiple times to check on us, refilled our drinks, and just made the experience...well, PERFECT! Mind you, this was dinner time on a very busy Friday at the bar serving our party of 6. And I think he was serving the whole bar area or at least most of it bc we didn't see another server there. I ordered the endless soup and salad and he remembered, served my order earlier than my party so I can take my time to order more, kept coming back to check on me, and was more than happy to always get me more! Other places I had to always flagged the servers down for the AYCE/endless meals to order more, so I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of attention I got. It has been a good while since I ate at the BJ's Restaurant at Oakridge Mall. I remember this was the place to be back in the day. We decided to go here for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised. In the back of the menu, they have daily meals. It was Wednesday, so for $12 you can get a Loaded Burger with unlimited fries. This was a great deal. I got the brisket and bacon burger and was so juicy and tasted great. The fries really surprised me with its good seasoning and perfectly crispy outside and soft inside. Our waitress was great, but I had to knock a star off from being a 5 star review because my seat had huge lump on it. I had to constantly had to reposition myself and it was annoying. This is at one of the booths in the bar area. They need to fix that asap. read more

I often go to this BJ's for lunch with my wife. Today I got a server, her name is Jackie, and absolutely pleasant young lady. Her service was excellent plus plus. Jackie took our orders promptly and we received our drinks in a timely manner. In fact I never had to ask for refills, Jackie was right there at our table constantly. Our food came and Jackie asked if everything was okay. Soon after she returned to make sure our meal was okay. To get a server who is spot on, very pleasant and sociable is somewhat rare because most establishments the server is so busy that once you get served it's hard to get refills etc. Jackie is an asset to BJ's. Late post review but I had a chance to come over the holidays and try their holiday cocktail special. It felt very cute and festive. The whipped cream did make the cup feel a bit sticky but taste was great. We dined during lunch hours on a weekday and service was great. We got checked on frequently and the food arrived timely. Loved the clam chowder in the bread bowl. This was a meal in itself so I actually had to take my salad to go as I felt so full. My daughter got a burger and she finished which she rarely does in one sitting. Definitely will come back to see any other changes in the menu. read more

I've been to other BJs locations and I have to say that this is the worst one I've been to. I was here for the vibes with my friends, and for a good meal, and I thought to splurge after a long hard week at work. I loved the clam chowder, not bad, but I was so disappointed with the prime rib. It was very tough as if it sat out for a while, the potatoes just tasted off for some reason. Also the prime rib was seasoned so poorly and tasted like pastrami. If I wanted pastrami I would have bought it myself elsewhere.
