Have had some good and some bad experiences here, unfortunately more bad. The food sometimes takes forever and sometimes takes ten minutes. Have had pickup orders be half hour later than the expected time. The asparagus last time I was there was so salty it was inedible. The personal pizza tasted like chef boy RD. I have liked the Mediterranean tacos and the sriracha sprouts are always on point, but the prices keep rising, and it's hard to predict how the night will go. Better options for less money exist. I wish I could give a higher score. We keep trying and hope it will get better, but unfortunately it doesn't. They are always short staffed, service is so slow, portions are small and they get smaller each time. The food is just average and for the prices, it should be outstanding. Definitely wouldn't recommend service wise very rude. I tried to make a reservation and they made it very difficult. At first. They told me I wasn't able to because my party was too small then they said I was and they would write my name down for a reservation on the day then when I got there, they told me that it was not a reservation. It was just saying that I was coming in, which made no sense and then they blatantly talked and laughed about me in front of my face. So if you want basic respect and reliability, don't come here. We started with the Sriracha Queso Dip with Piranha® Pale Ale Chili. When it was delivered it was just plain queso (and honestly tasted like it was right out of a can). Asked the waitress about the "chili" that was a main ingredient and she was confused. Manager was confused - said they changed menus and didn't know this was a new item w the chili included in the description. They were all very pleasant in explaining the mix-up. Gave it another try after one disappointing experience. Ordered a "special" entree of fish and chips. It was 4 small shriveled up pieces of fish and the plate was mostly covered in lukewarm fries. BJ's has always been a favorite, but after my latest visit on 9/27. I will be hard pressed to go back. The server was very personable but the food was AWEFUL!!! 1. Fries came out cold. Asked for hot fries and it was obvious the fries were thrown back in the oil to heat up. 2. The chicken sandwich was served on burnt toast. The burnt toast ruined the flavor of the sandwich. 3. The classic personal pizza was literally four globs of dough, not even smoothed out and way too much cheese. It is hard to ruin a pizza, but the cook managed to do this. The server did take our drinks off our check, but it was too little too late. The ambiance was good, but just not enough to go back. Great experience with a group of seven ladies. We're pretty picky and Ruban attended our table perfectly. Wonderful service. Even great food despite one person complaining. Replace the meal. We ordered dinner and dessert for delivery directly from BJ's app and it was anything but enjoyable. Food took 30 minutes to arrive after driver picked up and we live 10 minutes from the restaurant. I called and spoke with the manager named tara who said she would remove delivery charges and then called back after receiving a cold food but at that point she suddenly became unavailable but whoever answered the phone said tara would call me back or email me credit but after 3 days I received nothing and then got a finalized credit card charge for the entire amount including the delivery which of course I am disputing now. Walked in on a Saturday night with wife, we sat at the bar. No exaggeration, 20 minutes went by, and not a single person even acknowledged our existence. Walked out. Listen, if the bartenders were shortstaffed, overwhelmed by drink orders, etc, that's understandable. Would it have been so card for any of them to just say, "Hey you guys, oh my God, we're so sorry, we're slammed right now, it may be another x minutes before we get to you." I'm used to BJs having a super long wait and the kitchen always being backed up but we didn't have to wait that long this time around! Our server was also really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I loved their clam chowder, no complaints there. The chili nachos were ok, but the serving size was way bigger than I expected which was a nice surprise. And the fried cous cous balls were so delicious, I just wish they gave more cheese sauce with it. And pizookies are always A+. Celebrating my anniversary. Wanted to order the $13 Pizookie mini pizza dinner but they were ALL OUT of mini pizzas. Settled for a cheeseburger which was adequate but not great. My wife ordered a mixed drink that cost more than her dinner. My bloody Mary had 3 olives dumped in the glass rather than suspended on a skewer which made the last few swallows taste like an olive instead of tomato mix. Our server was pleasant and attentive, and she apologized for being out of pizzas, and for the olives being dumped in the glass, but that didn't change the problems. Ambience was typical big screen TV noisy but not overbearing. The previous diner at our table left a Reese's cup on the floor under the table which I very nearly stepped on getting into the booth. My wife and I stopped by last Wednesday November 14th. The staff was great. The food sucked. My wife's Chicken Alfredo dish didn't have any Alfredo sauce just cheese. The chicken was overcooked,the noodles were cold. The over all dish was bad. My burger had no taste and it was dry as a bone. The fries were old. The avocado appetizer was fair. We ate what we could. We started with the awesomely crisp and tasty brussel sprouts. (I could go there and be content just having a bowl of those and a beer, seriously!) I ordered the Enlightened Barbacoa cauliflower pita tacos with the seasonal bistro grains. Super yummy, hard to believe that it's actually cauliflower. The grains were good too. My hubby ordered a steak, I forget what kind. It came with mediocre mashed potatoes and a mediocre Ceasar salad. I think they need to jazz it up a bit with those 2 items. And the beer! Wow!
