Oddly... great experience. First and foremost.... Our server "Stevie" NAILED IT!! So sweet and helped with every step of service! Also the pazooki thing. I mean the rest of the food was a little more than typical brew fair but totally good! But they wrapped it up with a bow on that cookie thing! Let's go! Tip big for our servers! They work their butt off! read more

Have had some good and some bad experiences here, unfortunately more bad. The food sometimes takes forever and sometimes takes ten minutes. Have had pickup orders be half hour later than the expected time. The asparagus last time I was there was so salty it was inedible. The personal pizza tasted like chef boy RD. I have liked the Mediterranean tacos and the sriracha sprouts are always on point, but the prices keep rising, and it's hard to predict how the night will go. Better options for less money exist. Good beers though read more

Just went in for a quick lunch and our server was amazing!!!! She was on top of everything and it was fairly busy so for her to have been so attentive to us was amazing. I believe she said her name was Stevie, the restaurant itself was great, the lighting was a little dark and kind of hard to read but other than that very comfortable seating. The food was delicious I got the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and it was amazing. Perfectly cooked shrimp and perfectly served! Overall the experience was amazing read more

I wish I could give a higher score. We keep trying and hope it will get better, but unfortunately it doesn't. They are always short staffed, service is so slow, portions are small and they get smaller each time. The food is just average and for the prices, it should be outstanding. Always an issue with our food, it's crazy how they let food leave the kitchen in visibly sad shape. Won't be back. We really tried. Maybe the hostesses can help out once in a while. It wasn't even busy and 2 of them were on their phones the entire time we were there. read more

Decent all upscale All American restaurant. The seating is very intimate and the decor is pleasant. We tried the Ahi salad which was fresh and delicious and very filling. We also tried the jambalaya which was nice and spicy. The service was very attentive and we can't wait for our next visit. read more

Had lunch on Monday with our lunch group, restaurant was pretty empty, we all ordered the fried chicken $13 special which included corn, mashed potatoes and pepper gravy- it was delicious! Also comes with a personal pizookie, we all had a different one, mine was strawberry shortcake also delicious - our server was great- best experience I've ever had at BJ's read more

aubrey was amazing. she's so kind and respectful to others. she is such a good hustler and a good worker. not only was she good service to us, but i saw her getting around quickly and efficiently. will definitely be coming back. she was so understanding and patient with my questions. food was amazing and looked very appealing and appetizing! the environment in bj's is very calming and a great place. personally i think aubrey should get a raise!! read more

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse - very happy our cravings were through the roof for some bjs - New American Near Me - Mentor, Ohio

Wings are huge and fatty, asked for well done , received chewy skin under done wings , I ate the smallest ones , lol manager charged me for half the wings , didn't do anything else. Hosts where young very unpleasant , I came with a group of 3 , two parties where sat before us , I wouldn't come back , sad face I love Bjs usually read more

Stopped in for lunch on a Monday afternoon. Seated immediately and greeted by our waitress. She did a good job upselling drinks and apps. Overall service was great. We started with the Sriracha Queso Dip with Piranha® Pale Ale Chili. When it was delivered it was just plain queso (and honestly tasted like it was right out of a can). Asked the waitress about the "chili" that was a main ingredient and she was confused. Manager was confused - said they changed menus and didn't know this was a new item w the chili included in the description. They were all very pleasant in explaining the mix-up. Our waitress just brought us out a side of chili, but probably important to review your menu if it's new. I ordered the spicy peanut chicken with soba noodles and it was pretty good. Nice flavor. My husband ordered the buffalo wings. They were as basic as they come. I tried one and agreed - sauce was almost like red hot w ranch drizzles on top. Certainly didn't taste home made. We had a gift card here, but agreed we wouldn't come back - even if we were given another gift card ‍ read more

We arrived late thankful they were still open but the food was disgusting. Awful. My burger was totally burnt, my wife had a French dip it was cold, the chunks of meat looked like it was hacked from a roadkill read more

Gave it another try after one disappointing experience. Ordered a "special" entree of fish and chips. It was 4 small shriveled up pieces of fish and the plate was mostly covered in lukewarm fries. All for the low low price of 20.99. Not to mention the server kept calling us honey and sweetie. I hate that! read more

Good atmosphere but last visit served mediocre food. Wife had the Mediterranean bowl, which was good but dry. I had the Smash burger which was very disappointing, the bun to meat ratio way out of whack. read more

BJ's has always been a favorite, but after my latest visit on 9/27. I will be hard pressed to go back. The server was very personable but the food was AWEFUL!!! 1. Fries came out cold. Asked for hot fries and it was obvious the fries were thrown back in the oil to heat up. 2. The chicken sandwich was served on burnt toast. The burnt toast ruined the flavor of the sandwich. 3. The classic personal pizza was literally four globs of dough, not even smoothed out and way too much cheese. It is hard to ruin a pizza, but the cook managed to do this. The server did take our drinks off our check, but it was too little too late. The ambiance was good, but just not enough to go back. There are so many good restaurants in the area, save your money and skip BJ,s. I had to give one star to post review. The food was not worth one star!! read more

Great experience with a group of seven ladies. We're pretty picky and Ruban attended our table perfectly. Wonderful service. Even great food despite one person complaining. Replace the meal. Can't expect more than this. And the pizookies were wonderful. Help to celebrate for birthdays in our group and it was well done read more

We ordered dinner and dessert for delivery directly from BJ's app and it was anything but enjoyable. Food took 30 minutes to arrive after driver picked up and we live 10 minutes from the restaurant. I called and spoke with the manager named tara who said she would remove delivery charges and then called back after receiving a cold food but at that point she suddenly became unavailable but whoever answered the phone said tara would call me back or email me credit but after 3 days I received nothing and then got a finalized credit card charge for the entire amount including the delivery which of course I am disputing now. Horrible customer service, i went directly through their app but they acted like it was the fault of the delivery company which perhaps it was but i didn't order through a delivery service I ordered from BJ's Restaurant directly. * Tara the manager did reach out to me to apologize and was very helpful in resolving this issue , while I might not order delivery from them I will definitely return with my wife to eat at BJs. read more

I'm used to BJs having a super long wait and the kitchen always being backed up but we didn't have to wait that long this time around! Our server was also really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I loved their clam chowder, no complaints there. The chili nachos were ok, but the serving size was way bigger than I expected which was a nice surprise. And the fried cous cous balls were so delicious, I just wish they gave more cheese sauce with it. And pizookies are always A+. The monkey bread one is my favorite and the fudge brownie is pretty good. But I was not a big fan of the strawberry shortcake one. read more

Walked in on a Saturday night with wife, we sat at the bar. No exaggeration, 20 minutes went by, and not a single person even acknowledged our existence. Walked out. Listen, if the bartenders were shortstaffed, overwhelmed by drink orders, etc, that's understandable. Would it have been so card for any of them to just say, "Hey you guys, oh my God, we're so sorry, we're slammed right now, it may be another x minutes before we get to you." But instead, they just refused to make eye contact and ignored us. This is not a business who wants customers. read more

Diane was fabulous as a server, 10/10 food and she as an amazing personality. Look out for her, everyone will love her

Celebrating my anniversary. Wanted to order the $13 Pizookie mini pizza dinner but they were ALL OUT of mini pizzas. Settled for a cheeseburger which was adequate but not great. My wife ordered a mixed drink that cost more than her dinner. My bloody Mary had 3 olives dumped in the glass rather than suspended on a skewer which made the last few swallows taste like an olive instead of tomato mix. Our server was pleasant and attentive, and she apologized for being out of pizzas, and for the olives being dumped in the glass, but that didn't change the problems. Ambience was typical big screen TV noisy but not overbearing. The previous diner at our table left a Reese's cup on the floor under the table which I very nearly stepped on getting into the booth. Overall, not an exceptional dining and celebration experience. read more

My wife and I stopped by last Wednesday November 14th. The staff was great. The food sucked. My wife's Chicken Alfredo dish didn't have any Alfredo sauce just cheese. The chicken was overcooked, the noodles were cold. The over all dish was bad. My burger had no taste and it was dry as a bone. The fries were old. The avocado appetizer was fair. We ate what we could. You would think that an $86.00 meal would taste better. It didn't. We're not coming back to a once nice restaurant. Applebee's is better. The food is hot and fresh. And it is cheaper. Like I said the staff was great. I don't blame the wait staff. Too bad it was one of our favorites. read more

I dined in on May 6,2023. We called ahead for our party of 6. While waiting we browsed the menu.We were seated after being texted the table was ready. When the server came she said she was just taking drink and appetizer orders so we assumed she was just the hostess. Then she came back 1/2 hour later for the food order. Our second drink order came with the check she forgot about them and the beer was warm. My food was actually really good I got the Brussels sprout salad. I've dined at BJs before and will probably not come back to this location. read more

I don't know what it is about this place but I always seem to have a hard time deciding what I want. Nothing ever seems appealing on the menu . The first time I went on Saturday it was just average. The burger I had was ok but the fries were great. Everybody's meal was average. Got a gift card and decided to combine it with the $10 off $35 deal they have going on. I went back with my sister last night just to use the gift card. Initially I was only going to get the Bieneit since that's the one thing I did enjoy during my first visit, but I saw the pizza on the menu and decided I would give it a try. I like this place, I compare it to Applebees and Fridays. The food is always solid, my friend who enjoys beers thinks the beer selection is next level. The big thing for me is the desert, you need to save room for the pizookie! I'd go just for this, a warm cookie and scoops of ice cream on top. It's a match made in heaven, probably one of my favorite deserts. If you have never had a pizookie, go here and treat yourself! read more

Service was extremely slow. Asked where our appetizer was 20 minutes after we ordered it. Server said it was coming and apologized. 25 minutes later our food arrived. Took a long time to be seated even though restaurant was not crowded. Dirty dishes were left on adjacent tables around us and the sides with one of our dishes came out with items we didn't order. The waitress appeared to be overworked while many of the staff did not appear busy. The person at the front taking reservations was sitting back texting on her phone along with another employee while some of the staff were struggling to get everything done. No teamwork was evident. Not a good experience. Things don't appear to be coordinated and organized very well. I see this as a lack of training and leadership from management. After saying all this, the food was actually pretty good! read more

Our server, Dan, was outstanding. We had an RSVP for 34, yet 22 showed . Dan was on top of each and every one of us and was over the top pleasant and professional! The quality of my food wedge salad and broccoli cheddar soup was better than the last time I was there, which surprised me. However, the cocktails, across the board, were less than adequate and very disappointing. Dan offered a substitute, but the substitutes were just as bad. We literally could not identify any of the ingredients. All chemicals?!?!?! Lastly, our group is mostly over 70-years-old, and the manager and hostess refused to seat us. Those who had nowhere to sit and wait had to stand in the lobby until such time as our servers were ready The ambiance was nice as expected and the bathrooms were clean read more

The lighting is so low that it induces a migraine. Can hardly see the menu due to lighting. The service was horrible. The bartender was the server and she was very short and rushed to put in an order, continuously stopping by to see if we were ready to order. Having only been one time we needed some time to look over the menu. The food was okay, wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again. The silverware was rolled into the napkin, and it was dirty. The bathrooms were also not kept up. Wait time for food was long with low capacity in the restaurant. read more

I'm used to having a challenge whenever I go out to eat, especially being vegetarian. I thought to myself, oh great another chain burger and beer joint. They'll probably offer the typical run of the mill veggie burger. Yawn, boring! Not at BJ's, though! So exciting! The menu is quite big with lots of vegetarian and even a few vegan options. We started with the awesomely crisp and tasty brussel sprouts. (I could go there and be content just having a bowl of those and a beer, seriously!) I ordered the Enlightened Barbacoa cauliflower pita tacos with the seasonal bistro grains. Super yummy, hard to believe that it's actually cauliflower. The grains were good too. My hubby ordered a steak, I forget what kind. It came with mediocre mashed potatoes and a mediocre Ceasar salad. I think they need to jazz it up a bit with those 2 items. And the beer! Wow! I got a build your own flight of 4 different ones. 2 IPAs, 1 red and their imperial stout. All the beers were impressive, but the stout stole the show. Lastly, the service was outstanding! If you're at this location, seek out Natalie for your server. She was professional, yet had an amazing sense of humour. Love that! read more

Historically this restaurant has been pretty solid- I like the ease of use on the app and the take out having an easy access place to pick up food. Lately however the employees have been struggling at the take out counter, customers frustrated etc. I ordered a well done burger and the roast beef dip sandwich with simple side of fries. Just view the pics . We did not eat any of the fries and they didn't spill in the bag. Save yourself some frustration and go over to the Brew Kettle read more
