I have not had their pizza yet, but their burgers are excellent. Nice chargrilled 8 oz with your choice of toppings, cooked to perfection. On another occasion I ordered 2 subs, a meatball and "super" italian. First off the buns for their subs are little more that glorified hot dog buns, I feel like they could do a lot better and that the buns are holding back their sub game. So the meatball: I asked before I ordered if they made their meatballs in-house and she said yes. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they are indeed hand made and quite tasty. (most of the time a restaurant will outright lie when I ask them this. I'm picky, I don't like food service meatballs...) So the meatballs were excellent but the sub was short on both cheese and sauce in my opinion. Again their bread choice doesn't lend itself to providing a good base for a saucy sub. The Italian was pretty disappointing, same crappy hot dog bun, only 2 kinds of meat -ham and salami. Don't call it 'super' if it only has 2 kinds of meat, and not much of either. Also WTF is American cheese doing on an Italian sub? The whole thing was kind of a trainwreck and I've literally have better Italian subs from a gas station. I've also had a grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious. grilled perfectly and served with lettuce and tomato, a dab of mayo and it was fantastic. This is a Large w/ Pepperoni and Extra Cheese. The sauce is light and it is a thicker crust. The pepperoni's are thin but have a good taste. Pretty crispy crust for being a thicker crust. It is filling and has some grease but overall has a solid taste! I give it a 6.7. That's a review. read more

This is a small, Italian joint in Lake County. You're not going to get any better than a 3 star experience here, quite frankly. There isn't much I can really say about Lucio's because it's just so unremarkable. It's within walking distance to my parents house.... and I wanted pizza.... and I needed to get it ASAP because I was hungrayyy.... and that's really about it. As a teenager, this was sort of a hangout place for the locals. We thought we were cool going here without our parents and ordering a pizza like a big kid. It has since changed owners and been remodeled. I liked the older setup -- and there wasn't any cheesy Italian chef wallpaper border in those days. The pizza was okay. Fairly adequate. Yep. recently ordered delivery which was a bargain at $1.75 delivery fee. ordered the cavatellis (which came with a small salad & garlic bread), and an order of breaded mushrooms. delivery guy was right on time. food was packaged very nicely. the pasta must have weighed about 2 pounds ! quite a bargain, all the food + delivery for only $14. i'll have leftovers for 2 nights. not the BEST italian food i've ever had, but just fine for a night when i don't want to cook. good deal. read more

So we were having some friends come over and decided we wanted to order some half sheet pizzas. We have not had any kind of food from Lucio's in about 5 or 6 years but I did not recall a bad order. We got one of those coupon books from the mail and there was a coupon for half sheet pizza at the price of $11.99 each up to 4. We decided to order two half sheets. I got one cheese and the other half cheese and half sausage. The price came to about $25 which is not bad in my opinion. My wife called me when she got in the car and was explaining that we really did not get our moneys worth. I open the boxes and we got two half sheet thin crust pizzas. The crust was not soft at all the pizza was lacking sauce and the sausage was flavorless. It was so thin and not chewy at all. We all had wished we just ordered from little ceasers we would of been able to get 3 large pizza's and a cheesy bread for cheaper then we paid for these two pizzas and the flavor and quality would of been a lot better . Save your self the upset feelings of paying a lot of money for low quality pizza and look else where. The girl on the phone who took our order was friendly no problems there. read more

The food is good, but the problem is with the service. They are friendly, but in a"mechanical" way (just doing their job. The most irritating thing is, and this is the reason we are looking for a new favorite pizza place, THE PHONE TAKES PRIORITY!!! On SEVERAL occasions, we have stood at the counter trying to pay a bill, after just having ate there or for pickup, and we stood there for more than 5 minutes while they are taking phone orders. I understand that phone orders are necessary but a customer in person should take priority. Ask the person on the phone to hold on a minute and take care of your customer. We ordered an Italian stromboli, and the stromzana, along with garlic cheese bread. The amount of grease on the stromboli's was disgusting, it spanned the entire box, and for $8 each they were no bigger than hot pockets...very disappointing. Very scant fillings, very doughy and undercooked. The garlic cheese bread was void of all garlic flavor and left a lot to be desired by my palate. Save yourself the let down, and order elsewhere. I'm giving this review 2 stars only because of the quickness of service. Everything else is subpar. The ingredients are not quality and the portions are very small for how much you are paying. You will also be charged extra for things that normally come with the entre at similar restaraunts. I lowered my previous 5-star rating, because (as my previous review stated) we ordered our food to be delivered. We have been using the online menu. We have always ordered the beer batter fish and the fried perch. Each order had 4 pieces of fish for $8.95. Price was not bad at all, but this past Friday, both orders of fish came with only 3 pieces. When I called and asked why we had been shorted, I was told that the online menu was out of date....My guess is that it was out of date since the previous week, because for that past month or so we have done this every Friday and got 4 pieces of fish. But honestly, is it the customers fault that the restaurant keeps an out of date menu on their own website? I held off on this review to see if they had changed it, but it has been another 5 days and still the same. I will find another place for our Friday "order in" ritual. read more

This was my first time ordering at Lucio's, and it will be my last. We ordered 4 subs and the sampler platter. The ribs were rock hard, all of the food was cold, and the wings tasted like they had been sitting around for a while. The super subs were just terrible. They were supposed to come with capicolla, and that was substituted for american cheese. My daughter's grilled chicken sub had burned chicken. I called back, and was told that my only option was reordering or getting a credit on our account. I plan on complaining to the manager, and getting our money back. Called in for delivery. Staff was extremely nice and so was driver. I had the cavatelli with Alfredo, side salad and bread. I asked there to be no tomato or cucumbers but I can tell they pulled them off bc there were a few in there. Didn't get any silverware or napkins. Also, the sauce is very very sparse! A lot of my cavatelli were dry with no sauce: BUT, The food itself was very good! Mistakes happen. Just please please do not pull off an item that someone doesn't want. If I were allergic that would have been terrible. Just remake the salad with would take 30 seconds. We also got a burger, and a few other things that were good as well. ... My first ever review. I'm not a negative guy but this place hardcore embarrassed themselves this past Saturday during the Ohio State game. My mother called and ordered "wings, a sheet pizza and a sandwich tray" while the wings were good and I suppose the rest of the food was adequate we had a whole different problem. Apparently when my mother made the order they took the credit card number down incorrectly. This happens I know. They called to correct the problem and no one picked up so they left a voicemail. After explaining the problem and THINKING the call was ended the (I'm assuming manager) decided to call us "fucking assholes" and to then insult the KID that took the order by calling him a "fucking idiot". I had not heard the message till after the food was delivered. They sent a 90 pound girl with a broken wrist so I had to carry all the food in myself, which was no problem at all but seems also quite unprofessional. If this manager is the kind of person they have calling customers I can't imagine it's a very tight ship... read more

Food is of acceptable quality but a bit pricey. I don't like that their online menu doesn't list prices. For a medium pizza and burger and fries delivered 3 miles from the restaurant they charged $26.22 so $30 with tip. I'm not very likely to order from Lucio's again as I can order the same delivered from another local restaurant for about $5 less with similar food quality and service. read more
