The hostess thought it was a great idea to sit us directly in the scorching sun rather than every other table in the room that would have been shaded... oh well. Our waitress showed up to take our order before we had a chance to even pick up the menus. We asked for just a couple minutes and she cheerfully walked away. Seemingly, never to return. I looked all around for her until I found her leaning on the bar talking to friends. We finally placed our orders, somewhat begrudgingly. My wife had a bowl that she definitely enjoyed very much. She said she would like to return to try it again. I struggled to find anything on the menu that sounded remotely interesting and finally just ordered the hummus appetizer. I fear they left the flavor in the kitchen. It certainly never arrived at my table. When we were ready to leave I had to begin the search once more for our waitress. She was nowhere to be found. I couldn't even enlist the aid of the hostess because she had found a group of her own friends to talk with. Finally, I found our waitress and was able to escape.
