Seated immediately. Server was quick to come to the table. We split the shareable Epic Five Meat deep dish pizza and the brisket and bacon burger. The pizza was good. Not what I would call remarkable, but it definitely is loaded with meat. They don't skimp. But the star of the meal was the brisket and bacon burger. Talk about epic! The server could have been a little more present given it wasn't too busy (except for being too busy being on his phone), but otherwise... definitely a good choice today. Give it a try! read more

When I saw that there was a BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Fort Wayne, I knew my husband and I had to go there for dinner. I really enjoy their Pizookie Meal Deal. It's one of the best deals around now. I got the Strawberry Fields Salad and personal Pizookie for only $13.00! My husband got a personal deep dish pizza and a house salad as well as a Pizookie. The food was delicious and the personal Pizookie was the perfect size for one person. The food was good, the server was nice, and the atmosphere was fun. I haven't been to BJ's Brewhouse in awhile, because during COVID, the food was awful. Everything seems back to normal now. There's daily specials, and we went late on a Monday, so it's half off a large pizza and a few cheap appetizers to select from. BJ's Classic Combo Pizza - $11.50 (only because they ran out of large so we went medium which they call "Shareable") - Pepperoni, Sausage, Mushrooms, Tomatoes - Delicious. It's a good pan pizza, similar to Pizza Hut. 5/5 stars. Sliders with Fries - $7 + $1.50 for fries - Surprisingly good, since they don't have cheese on them. I asked for some mayo, which they put on the side. The only thing that would have made this better would have been cheese. 5/5 stars. Cookies 'n' Cream Pizookie - $7.99 - Gotta have a pizookie. I like the oreo one and salted caramel the best. 5/5 stars. Service was excellent. Ambiance is moody and romantic. Come try BJ's again. They don't suck anymore. read more

It has been a hot minute since I've come back here. Many years ago when we first moved to Fort Wayne we had a terrible experience where the food took forever. They forgot the appetizer and gave it at the end of the meal. Fast-forward today they had a $15 lunch deal and I thought I would give it a try. Very easy to order online. The food came out piping fresh and the waiter who grabbed the food for me was super friendly. That's a huge plus. The food was OK. The pizza is not your traditional deep dish a lot of dough to it very messy to eat in the car. The pizza was very average. The salad was fresh. Can't mess that up unless you really try. The dessert was just the right size. I can't imagine eating the full size cookie with so much sugar. The vanilla bean ice cream on top is amazing. Overall, I would say the pizza being average I may not come back for that, but they do have other things on the menu and I may have to try those in the future. read more

Have not been to our local BJ's until today. We were seated immediately but once seated, we literally flagged down a server after 12 minutes of waiting since not one person greeted, brought water, or spoke to us. Restaurant at that time was maybe half full. It was as if we were invisible. The server we got the attention of, Ashley, told us that ours wasn't her assigned area but that she would be happy to take our order. She brought water to the table and kindly addressed any menu questions we had. Food was delicious. Hubby got their fish (whitefish) and chips and an add-on side wedge salad. I ordered the 8oz sirloin, which comes with 2 sides of choice. I ordered their clam chowder as one side, served as an appetizer before the meal, and also a wedge side salad. The chowder was surprisingly delectable and clams were plentiful! Our salads were served in a chilled bowl (always a plus) and were fresh, crisp, and topped with bleu cheese, tomatoes, and real bacon bits. Again, really tasty! My steak was cooked as ordered but very small...definitely NOT 8 ounces. Also lacked seasoning, which I added (S&P). The GM came to our table (did not ask to see him) and agreed the size was not 8ounces, was very apologetic, and both he and our server returned with additional 6 oz steaks, which my hubby will have for lunch tomorrow, with half of my salad (as it was so big!). If you donate at least $1 to the Alzheimer's Association, all of your donation goes directly to this great cause and you get a complimentary Dessert Pizookie, which hubby loved! Went here for my girlfriend and I's birthday dinner. The silverware and cups were dirty, there were thick layers of dust on the poles next to the booths. We were a party of 10 not all from the same place so we were looking to meeting up at a restaurant and have dinner TOGETHER. Our party was split between 2 booths. Our plan was to order several appetizers for the table to share but that became impossible with food going to different tables. There was a table set up next to us with 3 tables pushed together so the entire party was together. We should have at least be given the option to wait for a table where we could all sit together or accept the 2 booths. The service was painfully slow... not just for us but the entire restaurant with apologies being brought to the table instead of food. After my delayed flight into DTW and delay with National car rental, I finally arrived in the city and was SO hungry. Pretty much everything was closed and I hated to have to enter a restaurant within an hour of closing (it's not just my thing), but I was hungry and happy they were still open. Came for dinner on a very busy Saturday night. This is a large restaurant and they don't necessarily have enough parking to accommodate their seating inside. During busy times you may have to drive around till something opens up. We used the online waitlist feature and only had to wait about an additional 15 minutes than we were originally told. The restaurant can get loud, but you are still able to hold conversations without yelling at each other. Ordered the Italian Market pizza. Crust was thin and crispy. Tasty and well prepared. I usually don't get dessert at restaurants but the pizookies here are always a yummy treat. These are all so good. The warm gooey cookie with added ice cream is just divine! I had been craving pizza for sometime now and since we were traveling we decided to stop and get some BJs. We had never been to this location so we were wondering how their food taste. We say this because every location of any restaurants never taste the same because ingredients change over a period of time. Atmosphere: We ordered food Togo because we were tired and they seemed busy but upon entering this location i noticed this location was amazingly well kept and I loved the way it was lite at night. I could instantly smell all the amazing foods and snacks they were preparing. I said to myself "the food smells this good I can't wait to get mine" Customer Service: The customer service was amazing. They didn't try avoid making eye contact before assisting me which I though was great because at some establishments the workers will see a customer is waiting on the corner of their eyes and avoid eye contact to help. But this location didn't do that. They were very attentive and made sure both my wife and myself orders were correct before leavening. Food ordered: The only food I ordered was a sharable BBQ chicken pizza with a large Pepsi. All in all it totaled to be about $28. This pizza was great! I came with my family to BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse for one reason alone: my brother. He tried one in a business trip to Columbus, and said we all should give them another try. I did not want to come, i had too many bad experiences in Miami area BJ's when I lived there, and did not want a repeat. It started positively enough. 5 minute wait for a booth. Waitress was prompt getting our orders. My family got sodas, I wanted an adult beverage. She had to come back though because the drink I wanted, Revolution Freedom Lemonade, they were out of. So i quickly poured over the drink menu and got the BJ's Berry Burst Cider... which was ok. My family got salads, which were ok. I ordered the Chili, which was absolutely delicious! Sadly this was the best plate we got. The rest of our food, the main courses lacked flavor and came tepid. We ate some of it but we did not finish our meals. Made reservation for 12, we got there & they had to get table ready . We ended up having 10 & an infant . Table was not ready . After we orders took 68 mins to get food . One person ordered med rare ribeye , it came med well . All but 2 dishes were cold , to the point that the dipping sauce had thick film on it from sitting . This place has amazing food as always! Their pizookee dessert is a must. They're so big that they're shareable. They have many different flavors to choose from and they add different ones during the seasons. We love their gluten free menu which has safe options for celiacs. My hubs gets the gluten free pizza and gluten free pizookee. Both are very delicious! He doesn't have any problems eating here and he is very allergic to gluten, but they've always been very careful. ‼ DO NOT EAT AT BJ'S BREWHOUSE IN FORT WAYNE -- THEY ARE RACIST AND UNPROFESSIONAL ‼ We had the absolute WORST experience here, and I would not recommend anyone, especially Black people, to dine at this location. We had a reservation since Valentine's Day for my best friend's birthday party with a party of 20 people. Most of us are from a church family, and it was mostly church people attending the celebration. We arrived on time, and instead of seating us as planned, they made us wait over an hour trying to "figure out seating," even though more than half our party had already left by then. We still confirmed 20 people because THEY told us they could accommodate it. When we were finally seated, they took our drink and food orders. 15 minutes later, they randomly brought out some cold appetizers and a salad that didn't belong to anyone at the table -- no explanation, no apology. Then, the red-haired waitress (who already had an attitude toward us from the jump) got mad and called over the General Manager (GM). The GM came and told us they couldn't serve us anymore, claiming it was because "we kept leaving and moving around," -- AFTER we were already seated and settled. This was a flat-out LIE and a clear excuse to avoid serving us. The truth is they messed up our reservation, lied about accommodating us, and then kicked us out on a false basis -- all because we were a large Black group. What's even WORSE is that after this happened, I checked other Yelp reviews and noticed that other Black customers have also shared similar stories about being treated rudely or refused service at this same location. This shows a clear pattern of discrimination. The fact that they did this at a church birthday celebration for my best friend -- after we planned this since Valentine's Day -- is beyond disgusting. They humiliated us and treated us like we didn't belong there. And now knowing that other Black customers have experienced the same treatment here? Yeah, this place is TRASH. Save yourself the time, money, and dignity -- DO NOT eat at BJ's Brewhouse in Fort Wayne. They don't deserve our business, and they need to be held accountable for their blatant racism and poor service. I am writing this review while still standing in the lobby of the restaurant. My party of 40+ came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and the experience was beyond disappointing. There was some initial confusion with our reservation size, but after seating our party and taking our orders, the General Manager, Alejandro Valdez, suddenly asked half of our group to give up their seats because they were expecting another party. Naturally, some people left. We were then moved to a different section, and we accepted that despite the inconvenience. However, after we were seated and had already placed our orders, we found out that the GM asked members of our group to leave, claiming they were being rude and cursing at staff. This was completely false--our group consists of Christians who do not even use profanity. When we confronted the GM about this, he changed his reasoning and said it was because people were coming and going from the section. Keep in mind, these were people who had already been seated but were then asked to move, leading some to decide to leave altogether. Ultimately, we were treated as if we were causing trouble or a danger to the restaurant, which was completely unfair. The way this was handled was unprofessional, and the amount of money lost due to Alejandro's actions is baffling. We will never return to BJ's, and I would advise others to think twice before dining here. read more

This is my Covid review. Things are still the same. The QR menu, host at the door taking name and cell...and asking you to wait outside are new. The place is less than 50% capacity on this night because they were short on cleaning/busing staff. In fact our table wasn't clean before we sat down. The staff is still friendly and professional. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The menu available is still large Nd lots of good options. On this occasion we had the avocado egg rolls and sweet potato fries for an appetizer. The egg rolls were filled with avocado. The wrap was nice and crispy. A soy dipping soy was a good accent. I didn't personally enjoy that much avocado but it's worth a try if you like Avocado. The sweet potato fries were thin and just the right amount of crisp. Not much seasoning to give it much taste or zip. The dip was ketchup. For dinner I had the small BJ's Favorite deep dish pizza. The small is just large enough that I had two slices to take home. The topping were just right...not falling off the pizza but not missing. The deep dish dough was baked to perfection - just soft enough with a slight amount of crisp. Not too greasy. The sauce was tasty - didn't dominate the taste but was definitely present. Sunday for lunch: (Very kid friendly) My family & I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday around 11:30. We were met by a friendly hostess & seated right away. My family includes a two year old & a 7 month old. Anyone with small children understands how tricky dinner out can be. Our server Katie was incredibly accommodating & helpful during the entire visit. I can not overstate how tentative & helpful she was. She even provided some warm water to warm up our babies bottle. Service was a 10 out of 10. The food was brought out promptly & was delicious. The restaurant & restrooms were extremely clean. I definitely recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed. The prices here rival those of a restaurant considered upscale. My fish and chips were $19.99 and the fish was not the best I have had. It was beer battered, but the beer used is very bitter.
