This is my first and last time coming to this restaurant. I was looking to try new barbecue food and thought a pulled pork nacho would be great. I put my order online and it was ready within five minutes. I should've listened to the other reviewers and checked my bag. First of all the nacho was supposed to have cheese on the side. There was no container of cheese, just two things of barbecue sauce, one of sour cream, and one of salsa. Second, they're literally was 2 ounces of meat. There was just a clump of it on the side and essentially the entire nacho was chips and lettuce. I also asked for no jalapeños, and somehow there are jalapeños in the nacho as well. FINALLY! After so many months of waiting for this location to open, we weren't disappointed! This was my first time visiting a Wings Etc (I know, crazy) and I couldn't believe the quality and size of the wings. They're crispy, juicy and perfectly dressed - no soggy, slimy wings here. While you're at it, forget your New Year's resolution and get a basket of the curly fries because you won't regret it. We sat at the bar and the bartenders seemed a bit frazzled, but I think that's to be expected at any newly open restaurant. We love a sports bar out SW FW!! Great addition to the area. Although it's a Midwest chain, it has a homey feel. TVs everywhere serves as a great place to watch the game. We sat at the bar and the bartender was WONDERFUL! Very attentive and it was a pretty busy Saturday afternoon. She checked on us and made sure we were good often. We got the Fried Green Beans with Southwest Ranch (Horseradish-based), the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and the Grilled Chicken Wrap with Hot Wing Sauce. All were fire!! The food was fresh and hot. The Hot Wing Sauce wasn't too spicy at all and had great flavor. Highly recommend all of it! They also have amazing drink and meal deals through the week. Several for each day of the week! Southwest Ft. Wayne finally gets a Wings Etc.!!!! Being a Warsaw native and only living in Ft. Wayne a few years, my love for Wings Etc. goes way back. I have always touted how much I love their wings, especially Daytona style, and IMO they have the best wings. My wife and I went to the new location on opening day. Let's keep this in mind as we move throughout the review of this location. First-day jitters, new employees, and a HUGE Rush. That being said my rating for today's experience and quality would normally be a 1 star. Due to the aforementioned details, I am going to give Wings the benefit of the doubt and go with a 2 star for today, as I know they will improve moving forward. Let us (Wings Etc. Management) use this review as a learning tool for how things went. I would normally expect a review card to have been left at the table for an opening day event, unfortunately there wasn't one. We finally make it into the building after waiting in line for about an hour, we didn't make the infamous first 50 (My wife was number 51). That's okay as we were more excited to get a Wings Etc. close to our home in SW Ft Wayne. Once inside you are greeted by the normal Wings Etc. decor consisting of sports memorabilia, tvs and music. Nothing too special, I know. But it is going to be a great place close to home that we can watch football at and get wings. The placement of this location is truly perfect for this area. We have needed something on this side of town for some time now. -The Nitty Gritty- Now again, let's keep in mind that this was DAY ONE. We were seated at approximately 11:10am. We ordered our drinks and food shortly after. Around 12:10 our food showed up. Yeah it was an hour, but we are totally understanding the fact that this is day one and again, HUGE RUSH. Then began the downward spiral. I ordered my usual, (Minus Daytona style as they cannot do it at this location), 7 Flats, well done, Tweaner sauce. My wife's order was the buffalo crispy chicken wrap, BBQ sauce instead of buffalo. Once the food arrived I noticed that I had a mix of Flats and drums and my fries were cold. The young lady that brought the food out took the food back to have it made properly. My wife then took a bite out of her wrap and to her surprise there was buffalo sauce instead of BBQ sauce. No biggie let's just get it fixed. Look these things happen all of the time. The winning part is being able to rebound back and have the food remade properly. Another young lady arrived at our table and we presumed she was a manager. She wanted to make sure that her food was made properly and confirmed exactly what my wife wanted. Crispy chicken wrap BBQ sauce instead of buffalo. She read it back and confirmed it. She also offered to comp our food. I am not a fan of this but she insisted. To me, I would rather pay for the food and have it properly made. When a manager offers to comp food right off the bat, it's almost like accepting defeat before even trying to correct it. When a football team is down, they do not quit and go home. They grind it out and get the W. It is now pushing 12:25 and we have to get home. My wings are brought out after being remade. All flats, awesome, unfortunately the sauce on my wings had been forgotten. So I asked for a box and some sauce on the side. The young lady then came out with my wife's wrap boxed and bagged ready for us, along with sauce for my wings. We then arrived home and opened up our boxes to eat. My wife took a bite out of her wrap and to her dismay, BUFFALO sauce still. She says, "it's okay I'll just eat it." She gets through the first half. Then starts on the second half. What do you know, it has BBQ sauce. Our guess is that they remade her wrap and accidentally put one half of the incorrect wrap in with her correct order. -Take Away- All in all if you asked us if we will return, YES. I know that this was day one and there were tons of things happening. BUUUUUT, if you have "Wings" in your business' name, you best make sure that your wings are made correctly and are delicious. So let's chalk this up as a learning day and move forward. As time goes on I will update my review on this establishment as I know they will improve. What can be done to improve? Waitresses, double check the order after you put it in. Kitchen, slow down and ensure that you are making the order correctly. When it comes to a wing enthusiast, you have to make them the way that it is ordered. Once again, double check the order before bringing it to the table. Quality control will help alleviate so many issues moving forward. We look forward to visiting again in a few weeks once the kinks have been worked out. read more

I ordered a draft Yungling. It was completely flat (I drank it anyway - but told the bartender). He tried it and agreed with me, but did nothing initially. Since my draft was flat I ordered a bottle and it was skunked - bad! Again the bartender agreed. At this point I was feeling like it was me. So I just asked for a water. He offered a different draft and it was actually good. Then the manager came and they determined the keg was bad on the Yungling - but I had to comment "So - I wasn't crazy?" For them to acknowledge to me that there was indeed an issue. There were three people, two women and a man sitting a couple stools down from us - hammered (Monday, not football season, mind you). The bartender offered one of the women an application to work there. She filled it out and then she proceeded to get interviewed by the manager AT THE BAR for a job. So unprofessional! I ordered a wedge salad with buffalo chicken. I got grilled chicken with a side of buffalo sauce and the salad was honestly horrible. They did comp two of my three beers. But the icing on the cake is when I decided to go to the bathroom before I left (after I had paid way more than I should have) and I went into the first stall and there was no toilet paper. The place was dead and that is absolutely inexcusable! I was patient up to the toilet paper problem. Worse experience I've had in a long long time. There were other issues but those were the highlights! I won't be back. Wasn't my first visit and I didn't love it before, but this was honestly an experience that makes me wonder how they make it? read more

We walked in and it was filling up. We got sat at a table and then waited for about 5 minutes until we were greeted. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and could. It took a while for our drinks to come to the table. Our food came out in about 15-20 minutes but wasn't hot. Wings were warm, fries were almost needing warmed up. It seemed to be short staffed. Finally a manager came out after being there for 30 minutes and started helping pre-bus tables and take boxes to tables. Service overall was ok and the food could've been hotter. Looks like it was sort of understaffed as well. The busser guy deserves appreciation for cleaning tables, getting drink orders, helping pass out food, greet the door to seat tables .. he was doing it all. Visited with a friend over the holidays with a friend on a busy night. Ashley was our bartender. She had a full rail and was absolutely fantastic! She was very attentive to our needs and so friendly and kind. She appeared to be working by herself but did an amazing job keeping up with all of the rail. Let me start by saying that I try very hard not to leave bad reviews. I also like Wings Etc and have not had a bad experience with my local location. While visiting Fort Wayne my family placed an online order, the restaurant is only about 5 minutes from where we were staying. The food was picked up right away, but was cold by the time we got back. On top of that they forgot one of the wing baskets that was ordered. I called the restaurant and they offered to remake it for us. Upon going back to the restaurant it was clear that they did not remake the order and the original wing basket was by the register. They handed it to me and offered no apology for the inconvenience. read more

Visited the new restaurant in SW Fort Wayne tonight, food was pretty good but the service is what really did it for me. I'd give it a 3 but the service was so good I'm gonna give it a 4. I visited the new Illinois Rd location tonight 12/17. We arrived about 4:45 and had our server ask for our drink order and bring those. Then radio silence for 25-30 minutes. I finally asked another server (awesome) if she could find our server s we had not seen her. She said she was now our server because the other person had left. First red flag no one comes to tell you and you have to find out from the new server after she is just told. Then we finally get our food at 6:10 ish. Our server kept apologizing for the wait. I felt awful for her to have such poor management to back her up. Before we got our food I had asked her if she could have the manager come to our table. We were there at least 25 minutes after that and no show, never came. The food was good but man what a poor experience and the lack of accountability by management is staggering. read more

Wings, etc. is my absolute favorite go to wings restaurant in Fort Wayne. However, do not order carry out at Illinois Road. Extremely slow, unorganized and unthoughtful. My food was literally just thrown in a bag and handed to me. My wings, salad, and everything else was upside down and everywhere in the bag. Beyond terrible service!. And the last time I was there, dining in, I actually saw the two guys who were cleaning the tables eating leftover fries and chicken fingers off the table from peoples meals..... I am sure that is some type of violation for sure. Then I ate the food....never seen smaller wings in my life. This location obviously needs a ton of work.
