My family had the most amazing time at BJ's tonight. Our waitress Lauren was PHENOMENAL - attentive, friendly and very personable. She brought a smile every time she visited our table. Megan M was our server and was extremely rude. We got there over an hour before they closed and she seemed extremely unhappy we were there. When asking for salt she responded with that they clean their salt and remind us again that they were closing.... Even though they did not close for another 45 minutes. When asking for separate checks for five people, she seemed frustrated. Then my group was paying with the QR code and after two minutes, she came back and said only two of you have paid assuming that we would not be paying for the bill. First of all the smell when you first walk in is like musty. Lingers throughout the restaurant. Our server was not very professional acted more like we were buds. We ordered 2 starry and 1 club soda. 3 starry came to the table. When we told him he said "oh I got distracted and I straw tested them but tried 2 not all 3" I'm sorry excuse me that's gross. Meals came out, my salmon dish was missing the couscous told the food runner right away she said she wasn't sure it came with it. So server came back and said ohhh yeh cook forgot it he's making some now. I had to wait about 5 minutes for it to come out. Server took my plate because I put it to the end of the table. I actually really am glad I came here! I went to a BJ's years ago and it was so-so. This was probably 2012 and practically a lifetime ago. So after seeing a movie and wondering where to go for dinner, I decided to just give it a shot. Inside decor definitely gave off some cheesecake factory vibes. The menu also was so varied that it also gave off cheesecake factory vibes . I had the fish and chips which were good but not the best I've had. However I thoroughly enjoyed the wedge salad. It was really good and plentiful! Boyfriend and I enjoyed the Mac and cheese and couscous balls. So good! In the end we were tempted by the pizookies. Turns out on Tuesday, they're half off. That's possibly the reason the place was so busy on a Tuesday night. They were delicious!! So very much worth it. After this experience, I definitely want to come back and sample more of the desserts! Definitely the food too with more wedge salads. Service was great and appreciated! read more

This was my first time visiting this particular BJ's location. We stopped by to grab a quick bite before a movie at 6 p.m., and we were pleasantly surprised to find there was no wait on a Friday night. We kicked off our dinner with their avocado egg rolls. These weren't bad ... not as flavorful as some of the others I've had, but they were crispy and warm, and the sauce balanced everything out nicely. For my main course, I ordered the Bistro Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. The burger was cooked exactly to my liking, and had a nice char on it. The toppings were fun and played well with the lightly toasted bun. The sweet potato fries were perfectly seasoned -- and the perfect partner for this particular burger. My fiancé ordered the Sweet Pig pizza with added jalapeños. The shareable size (11") proved too much for him to handle on his own, but it made excellent leftovers later on that night. We were pleased that his pizza came out of the kitchen at the same time as mr burger, since sometimes deep dish pies take a little longer to cook. The service wasn't bad either ... our waitress stopped by several times and made sure our drinks were full. I did have to ask for a side of ranch twice, but sometimes that happens on a busy night. The prices were just a little high for the type of food we got ... for two entrees, one appetizer and one beer, our total was $70 including tip. Even still, this was a nice, quick stop before seeing a movie at Cinemark, and we'd definitely come by again. read more

Do not order sirloin there. My husband ordered combo: sirloin steak and chicken Sirloin was not eatable. The whole 8oz of fat, no meat. He didn't want to say anything to the server. You all know why? When she brought our check. I told her the steak was horrible, only fat for $27. I told her we didn't need another steak, all that fat that they served him we are taking for our dogs. She said she was going to let them know at the kitchen. But it didn't reflect our check at all. Which I think she should have been taking the steak out of the bill. First, such a cool little venue. Modern, edgy and great for a family or date. Service was perfect. Friday at 7:00 and very busy but, food came fast, immediately seated and everything was correct. Loved the specialty flight and avocado rolls are my favorite! Husbands salmon was good but, the rice was "strange" according to him. I thought is was fine. This restaurant is spacious with booths, tables and a bar. We came during happy so there were drink and food specials. I got the sliders with fries. My meal was half off because it was happy hour. The sliders were good and filling. The fries were ok. Stephanie, our server, was great. She was personable, helpful, and funny. It was my friend's birthday so she got a free pizookie. It had been a while since our first trip to BJ's Brewhouse in Florence. The place continues to look very nice and our waiter who also doubled as their bartender worked hard and did a great job for us. For an appetizer we tried their Fried Couscous Mac And Cheese Balls. The balls themselves had cheddar/Jack cheese, bacon, green onions, tomatoes, and basil all in panko bread crumb coating. For a dip they had a Sriracha queso dipping sauce. They were extremely unique because of the Couscous and with a great dipping sauce made for a tremendous appetizer. For my main course I got some Boneless Wings with Hot And Spicy Sauce on it. The wings were good size and well cooked. The sauce was above average although not at the level of the top tier wing joints. Still a good effort. For dessert we once again got their famous Pizooki Sampler. They are cookies of sorts each topped with ice cream. The sampler had triple chocolate, caramel, and a standard vanilla/chocolate one. They were fantastically delicious with the caramel one really standing out. All in all a delicious 3 courses here made for a super lunch. read more

Just a little update on one of my fav's restaurants. Today stopped by to get a couple of drinks and snacks, pretty much everything went really well with just a little ding but not a big deal. First of all the waitress that we got today (Liz) was awesome! Haven't seen her before but my wife and I loved how she took care of us. The first thing she asked was if we were enrolled with their rewards; NOW, that for us was a nice surprise because we never have been asked... So many dinners that we have had there and forgot about the rewards, so that was cool, she was always around, very kind and professional, provided suggestions and we never felt neglected nor in a hurry to order. The food was great as always, The Poke was delicious, the one ding was just the Calamari's, they where very greasy but besides that everything was perfect and the drinks where on point. My family, myself, or my co-workers (I work across the street) all ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!!. My family went tonight for my sisters husband's birthday, with so many places out there you have to pick from to celebrate... they always come thru. Whether it's the Fried Couscous, Avocado egg rolls (moms fave) or Deep Dish Nachos... to the Fish and Chips (I'm here every Friday during lent) or Jambalaya, the Bacon Jam Ribeye is 5 star quality. It's hard to find something on the menu that isn't DELICIOUS! Everyone was talking about how good our meals were and the service was top notch even an hour after we left. I've been close to 100 times and the one and the only time I had an issue they went above and beyond to fix it. The restaurant is immaculate and you just feel welcome. It's a beautiful experience. I could go on and on. Oh and don't forget to grab a Pizookie trio. Best dessert in town.!!! All the side sauces are unique and flavorful which I love! Our waitress was pleasant and personable explaining specials and options. We had a variety of food from ham and cheese sandwiches which were very good. An excellent smokehouse burger. When the drinks arrived we ordered dinner. An Hour later our dinner was served . A couple of them were wrong. Sent back then another 1/2 hr. Before we got them and still wrong. Finally the appetizer! Our daughter was home from college and she wanted to go to BJ's. First of all the menu is huge and have so many choices. They have s full bar and have countless beer choices. I ordered the cherry chipotle salmon with asparagus and spinach tomato couscous. Oh my so delicious. The salmon had a slightly sweet flavor and was cooked perfectly. You can't go wrong here. There are so many choices from pasta to burgers to entrees such as chimichurri chicken shrimp pasta and deep dish pizza. The pazookies for dessert there are no words. Working DoorDash in Phoenix, I'd occasionally have a pickup at BJ's, but never managed to eat there. While on vacation we saw there was a BJ's near our hotel, so we decided to place an order for pickup. We ordered the calamari appetizer, which was cold and chewy. Probably not the wisest choice on our part. The appetizer was probably done well before our entrees and ended up sitting for awhile. I ordered the parmesan crusted chicken, which was supposed to have a lemon Chardonnay butter sauce. Is that what I got? NO. I got chicken parmigiana, something I didn't even see on their menu. The chicken was covered in a red sauce and topped with some kind of flavorless cheese. The broccoli could have used more steaming time as it was closer to raw than one would expect. The white cheddar mashed potatoes, though, were quite tasty. My boyfriend ordered the tri-tip wedge. He did make a couple of alterations to the dish and the no red onions & changing the bleu cheese crumbles to cheddar-jack were made. However he asked for ranch dressing, and extra at that, but they gave him no extra and it was bleu cheese. From this experience, I definitely don't recommend the place, but think it might be a better experience if you eat in. The nearest BJ's to where I live in Illinois is 5 hours away in Indianapolis, IN, so I won't be able to test that theory. Even if I could, I might be reluctant to do so. read more

We have enjoyed the food at BJ's on occasion. But we've never enjoyed the service. I don't really know why we keep going back to this restaurant. The waitresses are surly. They are lazy. And they have too much mouth (they are rude). Recently, my brother-in-law ordered a burger and fries. Not that hard. The burger was nice and hot. The fries were cold. This happens repeatedly here. I don't know why they can't get it right. But when my sister told her that the fries are COLD, she gives her mouth. "Well, it's going to be a 3 minute wait if you want hot fries." OK, how about you take the whole plate of food back and bring it all hot at the same time? Is that hard? Apparently. So rakes the cold fries off onto another plate, leaving the hamburger. So my brother in has to eat his hamburger and then have his fries brought later, after the hamburger is gone. Is this ridiculous or what? IT'S A MEAL, PEOPLE!! It apparently is just too hard for them. I asked what the up charge would be for a salad to add to my meal that I'm spending over $25 for. Oh, that's a $5 UPCHARGE. WHAT? $5 for a simple side salad? Hmm. No. Not going back this time. Ever. After 5 years of this, we are done with you, BJ's. DONE. read more

Worst BJ's that I have been to. Way understaffed and the quality of drinks and food leave a lot less to be desired. One waitress was covering 12 tables. Took 15 minutes to get drinks. My 7/7 was clear. Hardly any Seagrams in it at all. My dates margarita tasted like watered down lemon aid. The appetizers had decent flavor but were cold when they got to us. I can't agree with the 3 star average that they have. I only give them two because my daughter-in-law liked her food. She must, she has ordered the same thing every time. But I keep changing what I order because it's never been good. Played it safe, I thought, and tonight I had a create your own pizza. Yes, it was a curbside pick up but shouldn't have been absolutely cold when I picked it up. Secondly, I specifically said no mushrooms if they are not fresh mushrooms. They were canned and they put them on anyway. I paid for sausage pepperoni mushroom onion. I think it's $1.85 per item and might have had six crumbles of sausage. Didn't see or taste any onion. It's sad when you have to count the pepperoni slices, so I didn't. It was tasteless, worst individual $20 pizza I've ever had in my life. Dined here on Tuesday night and sat at the bar. We were greeted right away by Alison. She's super friendly and an asset to your staff. We enjoyed some bourbons on happy hour, then ordered dinner. I had the Buffalo Chicken mini deep dish, and my husband had the Cherry Chipotle Glazed Salmon entree. Both were delicious. My boyfriend and I came here for our weekly date night and had an amazing experience. The food quality and service has both increased greatly in the past couple years! I'm gluten free, and they not only had a gluten sensitive menu they also had the items marked on the regular menu. While there weren't really any appetizer options, there was a decent selection of gluten free entrees (including gluten free pizza and gluten free burger buns). They also had a gluten free pizookie desert that was very good as well. I had a ribeye steak and ordered an extra side of shrimp. The shrimp was an extra 4.75 but they brought out at least a dozen small shrimps in a side bowl! The side of green beans I got were also really good! My boyfriend very much enjoyed his hickory brisket and bacon burger with fries. We will definitely be back again! read more

I would normally give this location a 4 star review for food and service. My wife and I have been making it a regular occurrence to go on Monday nights since large pan pizzas are 1/2 price. Recently we went on Monday during happy hour which is also good bad ordered a large pan pizza and happy hour (HH) drinks. I had 2 of the HH Jack Daniel's for $6. Our server mentioned something about doubles and I didn't understand and thought she was taking about half off the pizza. I was charged for 3 HH Jacks and told her I only had 2. She said that's what she was trying to explain that she gave me doubles which is why she charged me for 3. I didn't ask for doubles and it didn't taste like doubles. I didn't feel like getting into a discussion over $6 and had already paid so we left. She mentioned this was her 1st happy service also. I should have checked my bill before I paid so I am also at fault for letting it happen but you also don't charge for the servers mistake. read more
