Steak and fries
T T.

Bartender was very friendly and nice. Staff is very friendly but stayed in the back a lot more than I am used to seeing. The steak and fries really had no flavor. That irritates me. It sounds gorgeous on the menu and then you are immediately bummed out. And, they used flank steak cut the wrong way so you have to saw through it. Had to be the toughest $44 steak I have ever had. Used 1/3 of a bottle of Worcestershire sauce to get it down. I asked for medium cooked and they DID give me medium, so very happy about that. The food had beautiful presentation. Just had no flavor whatsoever. The bar itself is super clean. Really it's more like 5 stars for staff likability and presentation and 1 star for the bland food and poor cut of beef at a ridiculously high price. Gave em 3 as an average.

Steak Frites

Very standard airport hotel restaurant. I ordered the steak frites medium rare and got a very well done steak, but they quickly replaced it. The Parmesan fries were crispy but not very flavorful. When I was there, there was only one chef working but the staff was very transparent and helpful.

Bistro Danielle is located in the Doubletree Hilton Hotel at CVG Airport. I ate most of my meals here, morning, noon and night for 15 days while I was working a job fair that my company held at the hotel. Here's why the restaurant earns 5 stars: Breakfast: The buffet offers a fruit bar, cereal bar (including homemade granola), bread & jam station, a juice station, a hot bar featuring scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy and a dairy bar. In addition, you can order eggs and omelets off the menu. Coffee is fresh and re-freshed quickly by the hard working morning crew. Shout out to Becky! Lunch: The asian salad, club sandwich, and cobb salad were my favorites! Warning - the salads are huge! Dinner: Hamburgers! Really delicious hamburgers! Bar: Fabulous service from all the bartenders! I had a Cincy-Made Rhinegeist TRUTH IPA nearly every day. I adore this beer! My colleagues liked the wine selection and I thought that their cocktails were pretty awesome! Filthy olives or Flithy cherries anyone? Shout out to Jared! My heartiest compliments go to the restaurant manager who made all my dining experiences memorable! 5 stars Bistro Danielle!

"Best breakfast restaurant", if you're staying in the hotel. Re-read that enough times to get it. Waiter (Layne) was VERY courteous and helpful. He was the best part of the whole experience. Johnny-on-the-spot with seating, a carafe of great coffee, checking up on me, answering questions, etc. Omelet was great and was exactly what I ordered. Why not 4+ stars?... ...I posted some photos showing -- despite showing up more than 30-60 mins* before they stopped serving (desk operator said they stopped "around 1030"..."around") -- I was lucky to forage from the leftovers. *Later found out they stopped at 11, so when a guest calls downstairs and asks; "around 1030" evidently means "1100". Very Spinal Tap-ish. I helped them empty the fresh blueberries, but there were other empty fruit bowls, oatmeal add-ons, one lonely piece of bacon, and an empty "mystery" section that must've been great, stayed away from the apples, since one was rotting. Grilled potato wedges were overflowing, tho...no prob with them. Ok, I get it: Saturday morning at the airport hotel is not necessarily the busiest time but... ...What Would Conrad Think ? If Conrad was at the airport Hilton, he'd think he better show up earlier in order to sample everything offered that morning. (But, not the apples.) Get the omelet. It's great.

Always like when the hotel bar has the local brews available. Great tasting Rye Pale Ale from Rhinegeist.

I've had two very different experiences with this restaurant -- one solid, one frustrating -- which…read moreaverages out to mediocre at best. My first visit was a takeout order of breakfast tacos that were pretty tasty. Based on that, I was hopeful for a good dine-in experience when I stopped by again recently with my mom for a late breakfast. This is a counter-service spot where you order at the register, grab a number, and seat yourself while they bring the food out. We arrived around 10 AM and it was packed. Despite the crowd, the line moved quickly, but that's where the efficiency ended. Most of the open tables were dirty, so we had to clean one ourselves with napkins. Not ideal. Then came the confusion around drinks. We never received cups after ordering -- despite asking three separate times. First, we were told the cups would come out with our food. When they didn't, we asked the food runner, who said he'd check on it but just disappeared into the kitchen. Finally, we had to go back to the counter a third time just to get cups for the fountain machine. That's a lot of back and forth for something basic. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best. I ordered two bacon breakfast tacos and a side of smashed potatoes. The tortillas were so hard they were practically inedible -- I ended up tearing pieces off and eating just the egg, bacon, and cheese filling. The potatoes were bland and also cold, like they'd been sitting out too long. It's disappointing because my first experience was solid. I'm hoping this was just an off day, but for nearly $40, this meal didn't feel worth it. The staff seemed overwhelmed and stretched thin, with just a handful of employees trying to juggle too many tasks during a rush. Cleanliness, service, and food temperature all suffered as a result. For now, this location won't be high on my list to return to. There are better breakfast spots in town that don't come with this much hassle.

I stopped by for the second time and ordered the Squawking goat sandwich (which is what I got last…read moretime). Came to just over $11, no side, but a decent sized sandwich. I dined in, and food came out quickly, within 5 minutes. Love the flavors of this knife and fork sandwich, the tangy goat cheese, the sweet red pepper jelly (which is more like a Thai sweet chili sauce to me, very little heat), and the well seasoned crispy chicken. The biscuit is good, more solid than fluffy, but it all works well together. I'm sure I'll be back when I'm in the area!

They have so many breakfast items as well as salads , sandwiches, skillets etc. They recently added blueberry, lemon corn bread and my family loves it . It's like dessert . If you like cornbread it's a must try but definitely big enough to share ! The service is always fast and friendly. As far as ambiance, This particular location in Florence was louder than the one I frequent in Kenwood, but all of the locations I've been to are always very clean , modern , minimalist.

Our service was a pleasant experience. Our server was amazing. She was extremely helpful,…read moreresponsive, prompt, as well as detail oriented on specific requests. (I believe her name was Sidney?). Foods must to come out together. Our family had 2 orders of avocado toast. One arrived first thing, the other was minutes after all food was served. (My wife's was last) As a large profitable franchise, I'd focus on the layout. The front wait area is not comfortable, walking through the dining room has no flow, families are smashed and sat into uncomfortable booths, tables, with no room to walk around when chairs have guests pulled out from tables and enjoying themselves. We were trying to navigate our son's wheelchair to our seat. I'd strongly advised removing front entry checkout. Has no reason whatsoever in today's world. Nothing is efficient. Clogging, bogging, and shuffling out of the way for checkout, arrivals, and yelling party names. (Experience) It can leave a last tarnished memory when existing the restaurant.
