The work was completed in a timely manner even with all the rain interfering. We had hired Guillermo's company a few months ago for smaller jobs in our home that also turned out great. We hired Dave a few months ago to do maintenance on our lawn. We were initially impressed with him. He did excellent work, communication was easy (he spoke fluent English), and his invoices were clear and sent via email. We especially appreciated that he texted in a timely manner. However, he started to miss a few things we had agreed upon that were in his scope. Not a huge deal, we figured it was just an oversight. So we sent him photos and reminders of things we needed trimmed/weeded. He didn't seem to mind (or at least never expressed to me that he didn't like it). We always tried to be as courteous and polite in our communication. Suddenly one day he snapped at me and said if I sent him photos again, he would quit. If I knew he didn't like it, I would not have done it. We said we had no idea it was offensive, and that it was previously discussed that texting would be acceptable. He subsequently was a no-show that day. I called him the next day and he didn't answer. He later quit via text. This behavior is just unprofessional, and frankly childish behavior. I just wanted to share my experience so you all can be cautious if you want to hire these guys.

We are so happy to have been able to work with Jonathan and his crew. They did what they said they were going to do, and did it on schedule as well. When we agreed on a date/time for him to come and give an on-site quote, he actually came on time, with a sample of turf, ready to go. I appreciate that. Once I got the ok from the boss (wife), he started the job that week and I NEVER HAD TO FOLLOW UP WITH HIM. He would be calling and texting me that he had a question or suggestion due to something we didn't think about at the time. The photos are actually 2 jobs. Job #1 - Backyard - turfed area & side dirt area. This was a HUGE TASK. The area was so un-leveled that we would have pools of water sitting there after a rainy day. It was IMMENSE to backfill the dirt and get everything setup for concrete/turf. These guys made quick work of it AND kept the area tidy after the end of each day. You rarely see that sort of attention and professionalism anymore. Job#2 - Front yard - new privacy plants & clean up After seeing the work Marcos did in the back, I didn't hesitate to start work in the front. It was about 2 or 3 weeks before the boss (wife) approved more funding for the front yard, she was impressed also. Tried to upload the pictures in BEFORE/DURING/AFTER order with Nest cam photos. His service used to be good, but not anymore. We established in the beginning what needed to be done and the price...but those basics are not getting done anymore. At the time I was in poor health yet and still I've had to trim trees and scrubs and still have to pick up what is CLEARLY BLOWN trash!!! ITH came over and listened to exactly what we wanted and delivered! We have nice, new, beautiful 3,000psi concrete patio and some marathon 2 sod installed perfectly! I loved they were able to create the little curve, and planter spaces along the edge with bend a board. They tapered the land and concrete so no water pools anywhere.
