My Tesla is nearing the end of its warranty and I wanted a third party to inspect it for any issues. They did a full inspection for $150 and provided me with a full report both digitally and physically, photos included. It took only about 1.5 hours and I was able to work from their lobby while waiting. They had fast WiFi and a pullout/rolling desk which made my work comfortable and the time flew by. I have never been disappointed with their service or level of competency. I've been taking all of my cars to them for years and their entire crew is top-notch. Auto repair can be expensive, and getting them to take a look at the car costs them time in labor, regardless if any repairs are done to the car. I trust them. I give them my business because they care about their work and their rates are fair. The cost is not always labor, but getting the correct, good quality products is the majority of the bill. Took it in to have the window switch/actuators replaced in my 2008 Cadillac CTS. I was confident they could do it because when I called originally, the lady that answered the phone was very knowledgeable and confident they could easily handle it. I'm not sure what happened, but it took them three weeks to do it. Lots of issues getting the right part, lost in the mail, doesn't work and We need to get a new one, that sort of thing. Communication was spotty. I finally had to set a date that it had to be done by, and a very helpful gentleman that apparently had just started working there, called me and was extremely apologetic and saw to it that it was fixed. They charged me only half price from the quote they had given me originally since it took so long. So in the end it was a good experience, but a bit frustrating along the way. read more

Kiara scheduled my appointment promptly and with a courteous professionalism I wasn't sure still existed to be honest. She explained the entire procedure to me, didn't try to push any extras on me, the entire experience was a breath of fresh air. I called twice during the week to discuss the work I needed done on my car, the receptionist told me over the phone to schedule a appointment to diagnose my car and that it would cost me $125 which is fine. I arranged to have my car towed to the shop and before the tow truck driver could even drop my car off at BJ's automotive one of the managers was yelling at me and told me to leave because they won't work on my car. I completely understand if they don't provide that service any longer and the manager could have just said that and I would of understood but the way she spoke to me in front of other customers was very unprofessional and unacceptable. I will never bring any of my vehicles here nor will I recommend this shop to anyone. There are many automotive shops to choose from so avoid this one. read more

I wanted to trust BJs with my car troubles; I did. I had high hopes, but it turned into a big disappointment. Simply put, they were aware of the issues with my Landcruiser and claimed to have experience with these types of cars. Just a short while ago, I had my Landcruiser rebuilt at another garage, and after just 1.5 months, it started acting up again. BJs knew all about this and promised they could identify and fix the problem. However, after nearly two months of waiting and supposedly "sourcing" parts, they hit me with another bill for $10,000 to make the necessary repairs. I couldn't believe it. It was a shocker. To make matters even worse, when they handed me that $10,000 bill, they couldn't even guarantee that my Landcruiser would continue running smoothly. It was a shocker. I realized I couldn't keep pouring money into a car that might still have problems, so I decided to walk away. But that decision wasn't without more cost. I had to pay them $1,000 to get my car out of their garage and tow it back to my home. It was like throwing good money after bad, leaving me with a broken car and a lighter wallet. Can not TRUST them My priority for service is trust, competence, cost and schedule, no trust the others are not relevant. For most service providers, especially auto repairs trust is critical, without trust you will always wonder if the work was needed or if it was done correctly. BJ Auto in my view cannot be trusted, because I can't trust the work they suggest is really needed. My car is expensive, and I like to take care of my things, since I got it all the service has been done at the dealer. Now with the car being 10 years old, it figure it's time to go somewhere else and save some money, without compromising competence, so I started looking. BJ Auto in Everett showed promise, I had both my cars service there several times, though I found a place that I could trust. I was mistaken. On the second visit for a routine, 3k oil change, they recommended a break fluid flush and provided objective evidence of the state of the fluid. How can that be, less than a year ago, about 5k miles, I had a 90k service done at the dealership. That is when they showed my the photos of the two test methods they used. Off to the dealership to make a stink, they insisted the fluid was replaced and did nothing. Next step, order the two test methods used by BJ Auto from Amazon, about $100. The tests showed the break fluid was fine. Talked to BJ's and they said they would look into it. I dropped the issue, stuff happens. A few weeks later, while telling this story to a friend I was told there are two types of test strips used for break testing, one for only break fluid and one that does both break and coolant. After reviewing the photos provided by BJ's it was clear they had used the wrong test strip, it was for coolant, not break fluid. After this I contacted BJ to get an explanation, it's been a month, they did make contact after several prods, but no action of any kind, just, we are looking into it. To salvage the trust, I suggested they acknowledge the mistake and refund my $100 for the test kits, nothing. I cannot, will not pay someone to do something and afterwards have a feeling of doubt, was it really needed or was it done correctly. read more

Hands down the best service I have ever received at an automotive repair shop. Sunday I noticed my brakes making a screeching noise so I called first thing Monday morning - they had me drop off my car immediately. They provided a beautiful and user-friendly quote their inspection. They finished my car same day! They were so kind and even picked me up from my home since I didn't have a way to get to my car. A complimentary shuttle service!? Wow. Sarah at the front desk is such a sweetheart. They really make you feel like family. I've never experienced anything like this while getting my car worked on. There was even a cute little gift in my car when I picked her up! A nicely packaged hand sanitizer, a little multi tool, and a list of all the things they sanitized after working on my vehicle. Brought in cause having a thermostat code pop up came once before got print out of what was wrong car 1st one was a goner knew that going into this second car like said had thermostat issue misfire said I needed a new engine at 13,000 with 119,000 miles no test paperwork showing what test they did basically kept my car another 3 days said be done that day don't come here finally got my car took it elsewhere engine was fine needed a head gasket 2500. Car runs beautiful tried calling bj get good understanding why they were trying to screw me over kept saying things just upsetting to the core I wouldn't come and waste your time with this shop unless you wanna get screwed it's sad I trusted them and in end they had no qualms about screwing me over or anyone else for that matter glad I went to a different shop I knew car was fine my first car had same issue probably just needed a head gasket I am writing this to help save someone from going through hell I did read more

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE I took my Honda in for an oil leak on the pan and filter I wanted an estimate on fixing the leaks. The girl at the counter insisted I sign an agreement to pay something like $139.00 in case they had to do an extensive investigation for the leak, but they wouldn't charge that if they didn't need to. Bottom line I got my car back later that day and a bill for $147.82 which included a charge of $32.38 for two cans of break cleaner costs $4.19 at Auto zone.They gave me estimates of $318.18 for the leak on the oil filter housing and $542.32 for the leak on the oil pan. They also gave me estimates I never asked for $51.60 to replace license plate light bulb $175.70 to flush brake fluid $83.06 to replace the air filter $164.43 to diagnose ABS light $140.33 to replace wiper blades $34.99 at Auto zone I think they are ridiculously over charging read more
