January 2026,...Made the drive from Fort Worth craving real Chicago deep dish, and this spot absolutely delivered. The dough, the sauce, the flavor--everything hit just right and took me back to my time in the Windy City. Yes, it was packed out the door, standing room only (Sunday + football), and you could tell the rush caught them off guard--but honestly, that just shows how popular this place is getting. The ambiance is a huge plus: beautiful brick building, cozy and full of character. This is the kind of place you want to sit down, relax, and enjoy. I'll definitely be back--next time dining in for the full experience. This place has all the makings of a go-to spot. read more

45 minutes that I will not get back. Complete waste of time. Simple order: 14" sausage pizza to go. 45 minutes later an incorrect order and a waitress with a deer in the headlights look of confusion. Horrible service. Thanks for the reply. So she is also a liar. She did NOT repeat the order back to me. Disgusting. read more

We traveled to Venus Texas, not very close to us, just to try out their Pizza. It was a Saturday evening and they were pretty crowded and we had to wait approximately 15 minutes for a table. Once we got seated, we found out that they're no longer BYOB which is a negative, since we brought a bottle of wine with us. Nevertheless, we ordered a pan pizza, onion rings, and two glasses of wine. Everything was very good, except the wine. It was the smallest glass of wine I have ever seen, like a juice glass. We sent them back since it was way overpriced for that. They need to definitely reconsider how they sell their wine. They also have beer which is a much better buy. I would rate the onion rings at 4 out of 5 and the pizza at 5 out of 5. Just a shame they're no longer BYOB, since just about all the Italian restaurants in Arlington, where we live, are. I would return for the pizza however! read more

I love this little restaurant and have such a love/hate feeling about it. There's some great things about it, and some not so great. Both times we've been I've tried a pasta dish & regretted it. They recently added lasagna to their menu, it just was simply lacking. The ratio of sauce to everything else was way off. The sauce also seems pretty bland, not much flavor to it. The Caesar salad was meh. It consisted what looked like maybe romain (or maybe iceberg?) drowned in dressing with some croutons thrown in there too. Now their pizza is where it's at! It's not like any you can get in Johnson county, maybe even Tarrant county! It does take some time to cook, but heh it s byob bring a glass of wine to enjoy while you wait. Oh and while you wait, get an order of the pretzel bites! They're amazing! We've always had good service. The lady who owns and runs it is always friendly, you can tell she works her tail off to make it a successful restaurant. read more

It don't get much better than this pizzeria! The ambiance is great and the pizza is delicious! Now, you might think that its location would indicate that maybe not...but I promise you that you won't leave disappointed at all! read more

DELICIOUS!! We have never been unsatisfied by the food and customer service! In fact, a simple follow on Facebook would be great for the average consumer! We went last week because they had been posting and communicating that they would be closed this week. We enjoyed our time and took some stuffed pizza home! We drive over 30 minutes to eat here and are beyond fulfilled every time! read more

One of the best tasting pizzas I've had. Tables fill up fast around dinner time so get there before the rush. Service has always been great.

Great food. Had the sausage and peppers with spaghetti was delicious and great portion size I was stuffed! Great service, got food fast and the waitress was very kind. Would recommend read more

Calamari 5.5/10 Good flavor ...breading needs work though. We got the garlic bread appetizer for $4.50 7.7/10 wonderful crunchy texture, soft inside. I got the gnocchi with a creamy pesto sauce 8/10 reminded me of grandmas cooking Not super pretty but fucking flavorful! Girlfriend got the lobster ravioli 6.8/10 I only had one bite haha so maybe the rating deserves higher. Pizzas 10in margarita pizza was another HIT 8/10 crispy a little bit of burnt crust which I love! And thin crust as pizza should be. 10in goat roper I will give a high rating of 8/10 simply because it had ingredients I don't like... Yet the pizza was balanced and made sense when I bit into it. Might be the best thing they have on the menu. Overall give it a try 7.5/10 this is the place to eat in Venus. Final answer. Also fix your ac dammit lmao You're lucky the food was good read more

We have been there several times, the pizza is amazing. Our grandchildren loved the Mac n cheese. The service has always been great. This place is worth the drive and wait. read more

This place is phenomenal, and the owner is funny. Temps were fine inside the restaurant, no bugs, courteous wait staff, food was brought out quick, didn't have to wait for a table for our group of 5. What else can you ask for?!? This was our second trip in here and it didn't disappoint. We drove half hour to eat dinner here and brought a relative to try it. We had pasta, pizza, whipped bruschetta, and Nutella pizza. Everything was fantastic. Big shout out to the owner and small town businesses for not rolling over to accommodate miserable customers who find anything to complain about. Check this place out! read more

Been seeing Biundo's talked about everywhere and decided to give it a shot. Best decision of my week! First good sign: Arrived around 4:30 and the place was full. Found an empty chair next to a couple who were eating. Second good sign: They couldn't stop raving about the food, and theirs looked outstanding. Ordered Bread Nuggets at their recommendation. Not sure what kind of witchcraft goes into those, but they were awesome! Also ordered a Stuffed Meat Lover's Pizza. This was the best Chicago style pizza I've had in years. Two ladies running the front end. They were busier than a one legged man in an ass-kicking contest, but they were killing it! Tables were happy, everyone was getting served as quickly as possible. They really did a great job. Drove more than 45 minutes to get there, and will do it again, soon. Excellent place! read more

Great food. Friendly staff. I'll definitely come back. Tried hot honey and it was amazing. Also got a deep dish which was also amazing.

We drove over 30 minutes to get here and it was well worth the drive! We read all the reviews before coming, and we stuck with pizza, which is what everyone else recommended...so I can't speak about the other food there...but the pizza?! To die for!! We had the stuffed pizza and the think crust meatlovers...plus we had the pretzel bites as an appetizer. The bites were so buttery and garlicky...we annihilated them under 3 minutes! Lol The sauce on the pizza is phenomenal, and the crust is crispy and baked to perfection. We will MOST definitely be back! read more

We drove from Arlington to Venus to give Biundo's a try. We were not disappointed, in fact, we were delighted to find a pan pizza that was full of pepperonis, mushrooms, and flavorful marinara. The crust was not doughy, but was crispy at the bottom, which always makes me happy! We had fried mozzarella sticks and garlic cheese bread as appetizers, the only downside was that I was full enough from the appetizers that I could only eat one slice of that hearty pizza. We loved the location, as it's been decades since we last went to Venus. That's about to change, however, as we've found our new favorite pizza restaurant, and we plan to try some of the other dishes on the menu. Biundo's, you'll get to know us, and we'll see you soon! read more

My my my where do I begin with this review? It was "Perfect/Perfetto". My oldest son and I went for the first time Sunday evening. It was quite a full house even with the late hour. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The host and staff were welcoming, kind, attentive... and patient with us realizing it was our first time. Our waitress Chris recommended dishes for us that were out of this world good....she was on point. We started with Pinot Noir to drink. It was flavorful and reasonably priced. We ordered 2 appetizers; Bruschetta and Arancini and with every bite our taste buds danced. The Bruschetta might just be the best I've had. We actually ordered the whipped Ricotta cheese option and YUM! For our main dish, we ordered the 16 inch build your own thin crust pizza. It was cooked to perfection as well. No surprise by this point. Crispy Crust, flavor of the sauce, the generous amount of each topping and the CHEESE oh my! My son ordered a side of ranch and said it's the best he's had, which says A LOT lol. We were fortunate to be able to meet the owners. A hard working husband and wife team. The staff seemed to be made up of some family members and the others were treated like family. We were seated next to a couple that moved here from Chicago 15 years ago. They raved about how it made them feel like they were back in Chicago with every visit and every bite. They weren't wrong! So authentic! It was an all around amazing experience. We cannot wait to go back. Hey and for anyone wondering, even the bathrooms were clean and orderly. This is our new favorite Italian restaurant! Can't wait to try alllll the many other menu items. The only thing I wish was different, is that we hadn't waited so long to try it. Hope you enjoy...I know you will. read more

Our daughter lives in Ovilla (about 16 miles from Biundo's), had tried it once and said it was great, and wanted us to meet her family there for lunch. We live in far north Dallas and had hesitated at making such a long drive for lunch, but we finally found a Monday that would work for all 7 of us. Let me say right now that the 44-mile drive was worth it. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza (BBQ sauce, ham, and pineapple) - the mix of flavors was delicious and I really liked the thin crust. My hubby ordered chicken alfredo, and I think if he could have done so without embarrassment, he would have licked the plate after finishing his meal. I loved the exposed brick walls and the high ceilings of the old building housing the restaurant. The service was efficient and friendly and it was a good experience overall. read more

Wait staff was great. The day I went, they were having problems with their power and the AC was out, and the main dining area was full of flies. No one's fault, but still made the meal less enjoyable. I ordered a glass of tea, and it was bottled, so it tasted old and sour. Tea is too easy to make and maintain, I don't get the bottled thing, it tastes bad. The calamari, tasted fine but was overcooked. And the portion was small. The chicken Parmesan, was super thick, but also very bland and soggy. It tasted like a piece of frozen breaded chicken. I got the stuffed pizza, it was delicious and even better the next day. It did take about an hour to make, but the menu warned me before I ordered. I might give it another try, and will likely only get pizza next time. But I was overall disappointed after hearing so many great reviews. read more

How far are you willing to travel for a great pizza (and I'm told an amazing assortment of other Italian dishes)? Venus is a short jog south of DFW. Just 7 miles west of IH35 and Alvarado. 12 miles southwest of Mansfield. I drove 51 miles from Weatherford to Venus just so I could eat the Deep Dish Pizza at ** Biundo's Italian Restaurant*** I plan on doing it again. This is genuine Chicago Deep Dish pizza. YUM. The owners father owned 5 pizza places in Chicago. Jennifer (owner) learned from her father. This heritage gifted we Texans with the best pizza I have eaten in a very long time. I had the deep dish pizza with black and green olives, bell peppers, onion, Italian sausage, and meatballs. All covered in cheesy goodness. And to make it even better these ingredients were on the absolute best crust I have ever put in my mouth. It is really hard to describe this crust. Firm enough to hold the plethora of ingredients yet not tough or chewy. The flavor went far beyond a normal pizza crust. Almost like a really good pie crust. Maybe this is the reason they are sometimes called "pies" in Chicago and New York. Then there was dessert The Nutella Cheesecake is to die for. The creamy goodness of cream cheese pair with the silky smooth richness of Nutella. How can you go wrong. Each ingredient strengthens the power of the other. Not too sweet or rich. A beautiful way to end a meal. read more

My friend and I drove down from Arlington on a Thursday to try their pizza. Our waitress was welcoming and very accommodating, offering to shut the front door if we got too cold. The menu looked very good but we had come for the thin crust pizza. And the special did not disappoint! I had ordered a side of ranch dressing but I barely used it. There was no leftover crust at the edge! The toppings were generous and spread right to the edge. Crust was light and crusty, making a good bite to go along with the chewy toppings. Just look at that cheese. Restaurant was in an old brick building with pictures hanging that was reminiscent of the past, very inviting! Wish it was closer to home but will still make the drive through farm land again. read more

I moved from outside Chicago about 17 years ago and I haven't found a single restaurant in Texas that has good Italian. This place is so close to my house. I'm in trouble because it is fantastic. I can't wait to try the pizza next. The restaurant is in an older building with lots of character and waitress was really sweet. read more

Great little Italian restaurant in Venus well worth the trip. Officially the best pizza I've had here in DFW. I got a pan pizza and the crust was perfect. Done snooze on this spot it's wonderful!! read more

Let's talk about really well done Italian food. Worth the drive to Venus, Tx to visit this family owned and operated jewel. The owners are transplants from Chicago and they know what's the what for serving up good Italian deliciousness. The whipped ricotta bruschetta was brought to the table quickly and set a positive tone for the meal. Generous portion for the two of us, and we probably could have stopped there, but we followed with Cesar salad. The salad was swimming in a delightful, heavy on the horseradish, dressing. We thought it was really tasty, with hardy chunks of Parmesan, and we probably could have stopped there, but here came our stuffed crust pizza. We chose pepperoni, Italian sausage and basil. Let me tell you, this pie was perfection! We were told people drive from Abilene to eat this pie. Totally worth a 3 hour drive! One of the owners waited on us, the other baked and served our pizza. They were darling and most hospitable. Loved this small town feel serving up BIG flavor. We will be back. Soon. That large menu needs to be explored! read more

Got to tell you this is the best pizza we've had in ages. The deep dish is outstanding and I have never been a fan before in my life. Additionally the thin crust is totally perfect. A bit of a drive from Fort Worth but well worth it. Friendly service and great food.

We drove to Venus to follow up on some of the foodie posts about Biundo's. We were not disappointed and for a Saturday night we're able to get seated quickly. There is not a lot of seating, quaint small town Italian food. Simple menu and many pizza options. We started with the Bread Bites and marinara sauce. The sauce makes the dish, we prefer more garlic on the bread. We had a Biundo's Special Supreme thin pizza. It was very tasty with plenty of toppings and cheese. We will be back and try some other dishes. Service was great. At one point the music was on too loud and was turned down so we could have a conversation. Worth the drive and nice alternative to your dining. read more

I always make it a point to stop here anytime I am working in the area. Several different styles of pizza and they are all outstanding...my favorite is the Pan Pizza which is not your typical pan-style pizza. The crust is actually thinner and crispier. It's wonderful!! read more

Staff was 5 stars during our visit. Beyond sweet! The restaurant was cute. The food was good, not what I expected, the crust was amazing. We plan on bringing a family member who lives near by so I can try something other than the pizza, when we get together with her in the future. But as I sit in the passenger seat on our 50 minute drive home I unfortunately still feel a sad lump in my stomach of mixed emotions and a general do I just need to adjust expectations on deep dish? I'm a deep dish pizza lover, my husband isn't. Deep crust, sauce on top of the cheese, lots of sauce and cheese... good stuff. I had made due with the two chains we had on the ft worth/arlington area as not the best but it was something. Both those places closed, the next best options that popped up were to go only & out in Addison. I had heard this was the place to go for deep dish pizza, so when I had a chance to come down due to needing to make a stop not as far ... we made the 50 minute drive one way to come here. The pizza was good ... it was just a weird flip from what expectations were between my husband and I. My husband really liked the pizza. (The non-deep dish loving guy.) For him he loved the crust, could have used slightly more sauce. For me when i went to order I asked for the double crust asking if that was their deep dish pizza based on the pictures I had seen. I was told no their pan is the deep dish. So following their lead we got the pan. While yes the crust is what I would call deep dish crust; it wasn't what I was expecting with being used to sauce on top deep dish that i had gotten at places before. I feel like I've had it like this at Lou's but I usually got the cheese from there that has the sauce on top. My heart went into my stomach, cause my husband could tell that after the effort of scheduling a day to come out and how excited I had been for it to not be what he knew I had pictured in my head that I would be disappointed. Still ate a piece, and thought it was really good, but left disappointed after a long drive to not get what I was expecting/had in my head. Maybe if I had gotten the double I wouldn't have felt that way? I don't know. Anyway, I wish them all the success. I can see why they are a hit. I'm just still on the hunt for what I'm looking for. read more

I ate there earlier this week and the owners of this restaurant should be ashamed of themselves. Being from Chicago they know what a beef sandwich tastes like and they are intentionally selling CRAP. The Beef Sandwhich I received was a few slices of rubbery deli meat in a hot dog bun. There was no sauce, no cheese, no peppers, nothing just moist and gross. It costed $13.25.. Never going back and if your deciding if its worth the drive it's NOT. just another restaurant peddling cheap ingredients. **Update the owners response is even more of an embarassment trying to justify I could have spent an additional $2 per add on to have a $20 small beef sandwhich that was definitely in a hot dog bun and had dollar general roast beef inside of it** read more

We moved to Dallas from Chicago 17 years ago and this is the best pizza we've had since moving here. My wife had the stuffed pizza, my son had thin crust pepperoni, and I had thin crust sausage. We all loved our pizzas. Many have mentioned how friendly everyone is. That's absolutely true. Jennifer sat down with us and it turned out her daughter attended an elementary school is the northern suburbs of Chicago where my wife once taught. She made us feel so comfortable.
