By Home (Mike) is fantastic. A few key things:…read more 1. Mike is approachable, patient, and keeps in close contact. Whenever I had a question during our project, he would get back to me very quickly, which inspired a lot of confidence. 2. Very high quality. The quality of the work is laudable. We hired Mike to install a new bathroom in our house and also do some other tiling work. Our friends and family have consistently commented on how impressed they are with how everything looks! 3. Pricing is very fair and transparent with no surprises. At no point were there surprise change orders or anything like that. Mike was honest and straightforward. We found By Home and Mike via Yelp- we received many estimates for our project and found Mike to strike the best balance between price and expertise. We are very glad we went with By Home. I highly recommend the company. I definitely plan to use them again for future home improvements.

Friendly , professional and very knowledgeable with coming up with solutions for any problems encountered as is likely with 30 year old construction. Finally I found the price very fair for the quality of work. Rick M.

Hired them to do some pergo type flooring. Before hiring them I told them several times my floor…read morewasn't level and the only reason I wasn't doing it myself and was hiring them was because the floor needed to be leveled first. The said they could do it, and we agreed on a fee for leveling the floor. Great. But then they didn't level the floor. The installer said it wasn't necessary when I came home and he was 3/4 done with the floor. When I complained about the final result, they didn't offer to take up the flooring and level it to make it right. They did remove the charge for leveling the floor but otherwise charged us full price for the install. 6 years later and our floor has been awful ever since Day 1 and I still hate how bouncy it is in many spots and its now starting to pull apart. I already need to pay for a new floor when should have lasted 15 years or more. I will say everyone we spoke with was kind and never rude, even if they didn't offer to make it right.

Upon entering the store they seemed pretty helpful although the man Who 'helped' me was pretty ripe. I could smell him through my mask which wasn't a good sign. That aside we discussed what I was looking for, he walked around with a calculator and gave me an estimate but made no effort to write down what I had wanted. Apparently that's the customers job and then when I called to get a final price I was scolded and told that they wouldn't help me because I questioned the actual quote that was sent to me. Don't call the owner A.J. or the manager they clearly don't care nor do they want to discuss what my questions were. The store didn't have AC. It was hot. The management was lackadaisical and they clearly don't need your business!

This became especially apparent after the house was rewired in July. Gabriel was quick to provide us with a very reasonable estimate, and answered each of our many questions. If you have an old house that requires some plastering TLC, I have know doubt that Soares Plastering will do a great job!

There are not words to describe how happy I am with Teamwork Painting. This team went way above and…read morebeyond the call of duty. They very clearly and precisely scoped the job. They painted the whole inside of the house including the basement for less than what most suppliers quoted for just the 1st and 2nd floor. Moreover their attention to detail was brilliant. They removed wall paper, they prepped walls, they did loads of repairs for imperfections. They gave the walls 2 coats and did all of the trim. They did the doors and even the ceilings. This was the opposite of "not my job" service. It was, "I know this wasn't part of the scope of work, but I think we can make the cabinets look nicer if we paint them inside." "Is it ok if we do this extra work if we still finish in time?" No up-charge/change order: just lovely owning making the whole house look beautiful. I would hire Sanderson back in a heart beat. Not only is he trustworthy, but also his work ethic is admirable. He finished earlier than promised and did more work than what was ordered. Our house clearance team was 2 days late and Teamwork came in before they were done to start patching. Teamwork was done ahead of schedule to help me make up for their delay. Anyone who hires them will be thrilled to enjoy the best customer service in the Boston metro area. Team work painting did what they said they were going to do and more. No chasing the supplier around begging them to finish right. Teamwork painting was a dream painting team. I could not be happier to have hired them.
