After meeting with three different basement waterproofing companies to compare plans and pricing,…read morewe ultimately chose Keller Waterproofing. While they were the most expensive option, they worked with us on the price, and their proposal was by far the most comprehensive--clearly reflecting the value behind the cost. Keller was the only company to address not just the interior drainage system and sump pump, but also the exterior downspouts and full-house drainage. They also recommended installing a vapor barrier from floor to ceiling, which no other company suggested. This thoughtful addition was aimed at eliminating odors and helping redirect water from any future cracking--an extra layer of protection we appreciated. Their warranty is advertised as a "lifetime" warranty, though it's technically a 15-year transferable warranty. Still, it's reassuring to know it can be passed along to future homeowners. Once the project began, they uncovered an unexpected issue with our foundation (not surprising given the quirks of our house). The remediation added a significant cost, but after discussing our financial situation, Keller generously reduced the additional charge by nearly 40%. Impressively, even with the added work, they finished the project three days ahead of schedule. Throughout the process, their team was professional and respectful of our space--covering all belongings to protect them from concrete dust. They even went above and beyond by repairing our front sidewalk after running drainage underneath it, leaving it in better condition than when they arrived. As for performance, we haven't had enough rain to truly test the system yet (and hopefully won't anytime soon), but based on garden hose testing, the sump and drainage systems are functioning as designed. The basement already feels noticeably less damp and musty.

Every day they arrived and carefully laid down…read morepaper so that they wouldn't mark up the floor and then carefully took it up at the end of the day, really worked hard to make the house as livable as possible for us while the work was going on. The on-site manager, Jonathan, was great, and they gracefully and quickly responded to additional requests and changes of plans we requested, including entirely changing one of the windows. Even our neighbor reached out to tell us how nice and respectful they were and asked us how we found them. The answer is that I just saw that they were well-reviewed on Yelp, so I'm adding my review here too. Their pricing was very reasonable, and their work was exceptional. They replaced a shower system, which involved breaking existing tile and seamlessly re-tiling the affected section after the new shower was installed. During the process, they covered the opening with plastic so we could continue using the shower (even though it only took a couple of days). The re-tiled area blends perfectly with the rest of the shower (see attached pic). You'd never know it was repaired. They also repaired significant water damage from burst pipes, replacing and adding insulation and drywall, installed recessed lighting with dimmers, replaced a window and glass shower doors, swapped out an awkward set of swinging bathroom doors for a proper door, and took care of several long-overdue household repairs. Everything was completed quickly, quietly, and efficiently. If we ever need renovations in the future, we'll definitely be using them again.

The quote I received was incomplete (later) for electrical work!!!! Bottom line here, I also have texts and email that were not responded to or ignored, in spite of specifically ask Matt the owner if he is interested in taking the job. He said yes. But then never responded to text messages.
