The sports vibe was fun - we got to watch hockey, basketball, car racing and football all in one spot! Highly recommended.

It's your basic sports bar definitely more than enough TV's to cover whatever sport you'd want to watch. We ordered pretzel bites with beer cheese the pretzels were very salty but warm and in my opinion better without the cheese it definitely is more like nacho cheese rather than beer cheese but it's not bad just nothing to write home about. I got the Caprese Fried Chicken sandwich and it was pretty good and the fries in my opinion are the real show stopper crispy but not burnt the perfect fry homemade I believe too. My girlfriend got the Chicken Philly in a wrap and she enjoyed it. We had a new server training with Julianna and he was great very attentive asked if I wanted a refill when my drink was gone. Which as a customer tells me you care and you're paying attention. We were in and hour in a little over an hour. I would definitely return if in the downtown area!

As luck would have it, it was Binghamton Restaurant Week and we attempted a walk in - first available was three+ hours later - but the hostess mentioned we could get the RW menu at the bar and two seats were calling. Lots of choices on the menu but friend and I ended up having the same meal! Cup of Cauliflower, potato and leek soup to start was yummy - very comforting, not too thick, good flavor - I could have stopped here! But fortunately did not! Main was spectacular! Salmon with everything bagel spices served over pearl couscous in a risotto style was inspired (honestly, I will try this at home)! I hope this is a menu regular because I will crave this for many more meals! Add a black Manhattan and this meal is a treat! (Took the dessert course to go - blueberry cronuts were better than chocolate but both likely suffered a wee bit from loss of ambiance and slight steaming that occurred on drive - good for sure but did not compare to the rest of the meal). Shout out to Tommy F for exceptional service - attentive but not intrusive. Ambiance is lovely (the lighting dimmed as we sat - hysterical) but we also scored the most comfortable seats in the house (I hate a high top stool with no back and no padding on the seat - those stools look nice but should go away). Also love the hook under the bar.

disappointing. We were in town to drop off son for school…read more My birthday was a few days later so i figured we'd go somewhere a little more special and upscale. We walked in and were impressed with the decor. It feels special. We then got seated. My reservation was made weeks prior. Resturant wasn't close to full. In the center there are three really nice booths. There was a table of 4 in the center one. All others were empty. We would have loved to have been seated there. We were brought over to a corner right near a curtained off doorway. I thought 'hmm that's odd.' Too tired from a long drive i accepted the seating. For the next 30 mins i listened to what seemed like never ending amount of dishes and silverware be clanged and washed. I then almost asked to be moved but just hoped it would pass. No new diners came in. Not sure why we were put in the corner but it was a negative for sure. For our meals... i ordered a Bolognese. I love a bolognese and when it's on a menu i get excited. This one was bland and flavorless. I could make a much better one. Bolognese takes hours to slow cook and this was simply not a bolognese. For $32 it needs to be better. I honestly was so unimpressed i left about 3/4 un-eaten. Waitress asked me if i want a to go box. No. no need. The butter candle was cool. My son loved his gnocchi. Portions were big. Tried it but we won't be back.

For the most up-to-date menu, they recommended visiting their Facebook page because the menu on Yelp is outdated. The chicken wings were super crispy, as I requested... I ordered a traditional "medium" Buffalo hot sauce with blue cheese. They were fresh and hot. I would have liked more than 3 celery sticks (and perhaps the bare wings could have used a touch more seasoning before frying)....BUT these wings were still excellent! This tavern is located on a street corner across from our Airbnb, in the heart of the city; a "walkable" location in Binghamton. I noticed an outdoor seating area, but there were no guests outside and the heaters were not lit. The staff inside were friendly and quick when we picked up. And get this...I think our wait times from order to pick up was 20 min...Super fast! The only reason I didn't offer 5 stars was that the wings are actually on the small side and one order costs over $15 (seems a little expensive for just 10 wings). We ordered 1 1/2 orders for the 2 of us. That said, I would definitely order again from Peterson's because the service & quality of the food was great. I would highly recommend if you are hanging in downtown Binghamton and you need some GOOD bar food, to try this place!

Anyway, it was a slow night, so we were seated right away. Our waitress was terrific, efficient, and pleasant. She talked us through the menu, gave us some pointers, and ably managed our experience. The fried pickle spears were tasty and fun, my bacon cheeseburger above Bingo standards, the tater tots (I have a weakness for them) were good, and the portion was so big we left half! Our waitress really knew the tap selection too and guided me through the two beers I tried. We'll be back!
