This could be called Concordia 2.0 as they've moved a block away to Oak Hill Ave in the facility formally run by Consol's nee Duffs so it dates back to the 1940's. It's freshly painted and updated but has a nice Italian corner joint ambiance that's very inviting. They've only been open a week but service was great, seems like they've worked out all the kinks. The place was packed but we had reservations and were seated with in 5 minutes. We started with a couple of mixed drinks which were great, not a super generous pour but satisfying. Wife had a Lemon Drop Martini, I had an Old Fashioned, no complaints, good drinks My wife got the shrimp scampi which was delicious and I got Ed's Fabulous Meatballs for an app and pizza for a main course (more on that in a minute). I don't know who Ed is but the meatballs lived up to the hype and were fabulous. So why pizza? This place has a long storied history dating back to Duffs. The pizza is legendary and I've seen pizza places in North Carolina and elsewhere claiming their pizza was styled off of Duffs in Endicott. No way I couldn't try it and it was an honest 6 stars out of 5. So if you're familiar with Dave Portnoy and his pizza reviews, this is right up his alley. An easy high 8 or 9 score. New York style, thin light crust, no flop and a good undercarriage. Nice crust blisters which says the dough was properly rested and the oven temperature was perfect. There's a lot of good pizza in this area, but this blew me away. All in all, the perfect package all the way around. Great service, great food and decent price. A home run!

Upscale Italian. A somewhat limited menu that has enough to make a great meal. On the site of what was Consol's Family Kitchen, and still serving the same Consol's pizza that the NY Southern Tier has loved for generations. Friendly service.

As luck would have it, it was Binghamton Restaurant Week and we attempted a walk in - first available was three+ hours later - but the hostess mentioned we could get the RW menu at the bar and two seats were calling. Lots of choices on the menu but friend and I ended up having the same meal! Cup of Cauliflower, potato and leek soup to start was yummy - very comforting, not too thick, good flavor - I could have stopped here! But fortunately did not! Main was spectacular! Salmon with everything bagel spices served over pearl couscous in a risotto style was inspired (honestly, I will try this at home)! I hope this is a menu regular because I will crave this for many more meals! Add a black Manhattan and this meal is a treat! (Took the dessert course to go - blueberry cronuts were better than chocolate but both likely suffered a wee bit from loss of ambiance and slight steaming that occurred on drive - good for sure but did not compare to the rest of the meal). Shout out to Tommy F for exceptional service - attentive but not intrusive. Ambiance is lovely (the lighting dimmed as we sat - hysterical) but we also scored the most comfortable seats in the house (I hate a high top stool with no back and no padding on the seat - those stools look nice but should go away). Also love the hook under the bar.

I think it was Lauren, she was nice enough but did not go above and beyond for her customers. She did not want to move us to a more comfortable table, despite our requesting multiple times and the place was literally empty. Finally she was able to make it happen but it was already unpleasant. She was good with bringing us hot waters with lemon as requested, but there was zero proactiveness to refill the hot water or any of the iced water. It was like us going out and trying to please the waitstaff. She did make a good suggestion for the lavender gimlet cocktail. Overall disappointing.

I really enjoyed Bar Argos. My girlfriend and I wandered in right at 4 pm - opening time lol - and…read morewere immediately greeted by a woman who checked our IDs and handed us menus with quiet efficiency. The place was totally empty, which is to expected at that time. Bar Argos is definitely a vibe. Think: antique chic with a touch of eccentric elegance. Ornate chairs, old-school lamps, and fancy mismatched furniture are scattered throughout, making you feel like you've wandered into a vintage movie set where cocktails play a leading role. There are multiple rooms, including one with a long table and huge windows that let the light spill in dramatically. I was lowkey stunned by how pretty it all was. Girlfriend and I shared the Clarified Lassi ($13), which is under the "Delightfully Unusual" section of their cocktail spectrum - right in between "Colloquial" and "What?!" It was fruity, creamy, and weird in a cool, sophisticated way. My Hotelie friend later explained in the car (upon mention of the drink) that clarified cocktails use a process where milk is added to a mixed drink and then curdled on purpose. The curds trap impurities, and when you strain them out, you're left with a crystal-clear drink that still has the creamy mouthfeel. Definitely checks out with the Clarified Lassi that we drank... Overall, the experience felt like stepping into a fancy secret. 10/10 would come back, undoubtedly!!
