Love their new location. It's even closer to my home now. I enjoy sitting out on the deck having my nice lunch with my puppy. It has such a nice variety of items to choose from. Compilation of 4+ visits through Jan 3, 2014. Appears to be the only shop in town as a coffee shop and seems consistently busy when I stop here. Coffee is good and have enjoyed the breakfast burritos on two occasions although my dining partners have not been impressed on either occasion. The last comment was the burritos has sausage in it but sausage was not listed as an ingredient on the menu board. Service is functional but not noticeably friendly in any of the visits. I think the lack of competition has lowered the bar. read more

The coffee is ok, nothing special. The service here is very bad. The girls who work there are very unfriendly and rude. I don't recommend it. Last time i went there i waited 25 mins for a sandwich and a ham and cheese croissant. Seemed like they got the locals there stuff first even tho we ordered way before they got there. So we went to this place for breakfast because of the large sign that promoted BREAKFAST BURRITOS. To our surprise this advertisement was false because they were out of breakfast burritos on a weekend. Seriously? The person taking our order was less than apologetic and told us we need to come earlier if we want burritos. He was very rude as we ordered acting as if an order of a ham and cheese croissant + a latte was too complicated for him to calculate in one go and made us repeat ourselves. The services was slow and it took a good 25 min for us to get our food. The sandwich was average, nothing to write home about. I wouldn't recommend this place. You're better off going to the grocery store next door buying ingredients and cooking your own breakfast. read more

I was just passing through and decided I needed a snack. One of the best quiches Ive ever had i had the ham, spinach, & mozzarella and when they gave it to me (while I'm sure it had been reheated) it tasted and had the texture of a freshly prepared quiche absolutely delicious!! As a local I frequent the Bistro at least once a week. The staff are wonderful, the owner Larry knows you by name and probably remembers your drink. The brew is awesome, the crew is wonderful, what more can one say? It does get busy on the weekend but folks need to remember things up here move at a different pace, take a breath and enjoy it. read more

Being in this cafe (and this plaza in general) was uncomfortable. People were not friendly. We walked into this place and stood at the counter waiting for one of the 2 employees (a male making coffee and a blonde girl standing around) to acknowledge us. We were the only ones in line. No hi, no smile, nothing and its not a big place. We even made eye contact and still no acknowledgement. I'm trying really hard to think this was not race related. Other posts say they don't treat non-locals well so maybe that's it. Whatever it is, this place had terrible service. I would never give this place business again. read more

Oh my gosh!!! This place has THE best espresso drinks, kicks Starbucks to the curb for sure. Also had their breakfast burrito which was tasty. The girl behind the counter was capable but fairly rude. The espresso was good and so was the breakfast burrito and such. Just don't expect to get quarters for a shower back at the Big Trees campsite. There is Wifi available for one hour. Like a previous reviewer said, they have passive aggressive messages everywhere like your laptop will magically combust after one hour. The bathroom was at least clean. There aren't a lot of other options for espresso up here, so I just say bite the bullet and come here. read more

Our experience here was quite good. We stopped here for lunch on a Monday during a 3 day stay in the area. Although there was only one employee here, she fixed a fabulous caesar wrap and a chicken cranberry salad. The ingredients were fresh and well presented. My husband said his frappachino with an extra shot of expresso was probably the best coffee he'd ever had. Other than the fact that it took her a little longer to make everything, we had good service. SunChips were served with both the salad and the caesar wrap. WiFi is free for an hour which was nice as we were off the grid while in the area and we needed to check our e-mails. What a perfect little coffee shop. We have been visiting Arnold for years but have missed this little gem of a place. The food is great (breakfast burritos, croissants and the best brownie were sampled) and the service is quick and friendly. While there was a line out the door, I was so impressed with the two girls running the whole place smoothly and making time to talk to my young daughter. Wifi is an added bonus. Went there for breakfast last weekend and was quite disappointed. The eggs were cold, toast was not toast but just sliced bread and I think potatoes were from microwave. I was there with another couple that live in Arnold and they were very excited to give this place a try. The setting is great and outside deck seating really nice (where we sat). But..I'm hoping the kitchen can improve and they work out the kinks. It seems that they just opened. read more

Only coffee shop in town. Subpar at best. I'm not a Starbucks fan at all but I would of loved to find one close by after drinking their coffee. It was better than our first days camp coffee however our 2nd and third days coffee at camp was 100% better. We decided to give them a try for lunch. We went in, mind you this would be our third visit here, with my service dog. The owner came up and said sorry we don't allow dogs in the building. His service vest was attached to his leash as it was nearly 100 degrees outside. I should of left right then and there and went back to camp for bologna sandwiches but I was craving a warm lunch. We placed our order and then were banished to the patio area. We waited an extremely long time in the heat for a lunch that was poorly cooked. My burger was rare which I was never asked how I like it cooked. As long as it took to make it should of been well done. The burger had no flavor and I was extremely disappointed. Fries that came with it were not fries at all they were homemade potato chips. Only thing decent on the plate was the Pickle spear. This was our last visit to this place. We bought energy drinks to have after camp coffee from that day forward. Bologna sandwiches were also more welcoming than poorly made Burgers! read more

So I am a local and used to go here all the time. I USED to order an iced chi tea. The total for a medium is $6.75. The woman behind the counter felt the need to notify me that they don't make their chi, they but it at the grocery store down the road. So one day I go to the grocery store and find the same exact chi. Its $4 so I WAY over paid for a chi. read more
